4 TRUE LOVE'S KISS

The next day, when I stepped into the shop, Arachne's eyes were shining like little diamond dots. As soon as she caught a glimpse of me she clapped and almost screamed cheerfully:

"The suit's finished! Come on, try it on. I'm sure you will like it!" I hadn't seen Arachne so filled with happiness before. The melancholy in her voice had vanished without a trace.

While I was putting on the suit, Arachne tried to avoid looking at me but I felt her eyes quietly peeking into my direction once in a while. I put on the suit and stood before the mirror. The suit was shimmering as if I stood under the sunshine. White glitters were reflecting the light and gleaming on the sheer layers of the fabric.

"You look so good!" Arachne was watching me in the mirror. "The soft colors perfectly match your dark hair!" I turned around and took her hand.

"I love it, thank you!" I said but while looking at Arachne's bright eyes I couldn't restrain myself and I kissed her. Kissing Arachne felt like snowflakes falling down on my lips. In my surprise, she answered my kiss. I looked at Arachne whose cheeks were flushed from embarrassment. She couldn't look me in the eyes.

"I love you," I whispered, "I love you, Arachne." She was silent for a minute that felt like hours to me.

"I love you too, Nico." She murmured.

I held her head with my hands and touched my forehead to hers. We were looking into each other's eyes.

"But what about my legs?" Arachne asked as if she was guilty of something. I stroked her hair.

"To me, there's nothing more important than you".

On the way back home my heart was pounding from happiness. I felt like the whole world revolved around Arachne and me. I visited her the early next morning. Birds were chirping and the moon was still on the sky. I stepped into the shop and saw my first love - Arachne. She was fully human. She stood on two beautiful legs.
