3 Chapter 2: Heaven Sea Scripture

Darkness....tiny motes of light shined in the vast darkness as if the starry skies had descended, at the centre stood an ancient silver pagoda which gave of a suppressive feeling, coiled around it was an ancient dragon which seemed to be in deep slumber

Inside

The hall was vast and bright and the far end stood an elevated throne just right next to it was a plane bridge made of starlight leading to four halls. The first one was the hall of reincarnation, at the centre to the right stood the treasure hall and to the left stood two doors the soul hall and the Dao hall

As one who poses the ancient scripture two tokens shall be awarded

The first token shall immediately be bound to the door of reincarnation as for the second you can choose out of the two halls to seek your fortune but only one item can be brought out then you will be sent to the hall of reincarnation

The first hall will let you be reborn again but only once if you seek death it will be true death from henceforth

The treasure hall contains divine, sage and primordial artefacts even mortal ones left by the previous generation only if you have an affinity can you bind one of those weapons luck also plays a major role

The soul hall focuses on the soul you should already have a clue about it the ancient sea scripture you practice was created by a powerful sage whose power rivalled those primordial the copy you have encompasses two whole realms only the third realm missing you must have truly been loved

The old man sighed as he looked down at me with a profound look

Thus you cannot choose anything from the soul hall until you reach the cycle realm

The final Hall is the Dao hall all the marvels of the universe are contained within it but unlike other halls, the Dao hall seeks one's essence and true nature. Once one's essence is determined one will have to attune with the Dao itself to find a better cultivation technique suited for one's self.

Tony took a deep bow and clasped his hands before the elder a look of anticipation coloured his eyes

The bridged seemed to calm once soul and with each step taken the sea scripture began purifying the soul

Just like cultivation the heaven sea scripture had four major realms but has no minor ones this meant that with each realm advancement one would receive a qualitative change in one's soul

The spirit soul realm, World soul realm this two would be referred to as the mortal soul plane

The starry soul realm, Ascended soul realm while this one the heavenly soul plane in terms of soul cultivation this four realms made up the Heaven sea scripture.

A cool feeling suddenly engulfed his body it was like drinking water after traversing the desert for days his sense were sharpened as he placed his hands on the door

A small flame lit up the dark showing its might it reigned supreme amongst all the elemental Dao's Fire

And just like these other Dao paths began to appear he had to choose one of them his subconscious hinted at it

Right next to the flame was a mound of earth it represented the earth Dao which was known for its hegemony in tenacity and defense closely followed by a blue jelly-like substance which represented the water Dao he thought even when faced with the might of the other elements it still remained tranquil and finally the Dao of wind it roamed everywhere among the four elements ...

Looking around him other Dao's were present be it the Dao of the sword or the Dao of time, the Dao of space or the Dao of the sabre all were present in the vast space

Though his father never really talked to him about cultivation in detail he had at least some knowledge about it. He sat down crossed legged an began thinking of what he wanted of all the Dao's present the one that suited him most was the Dao of the wind and water

he had always led a calm life and he wanted to maintain it the only thing he ever lucked was freedom to do what he pleased furthermore he still had the heaven sea scripture which in real sense was of yin energy so the most suitable path would have been that of the wind but for some reason he thought that he was restricting himself the feeling grew stronger and stronger as time passed and he gave into it after all what did he have to lose

My Dao Heart grew....

Battled with Gods, Transcendants, and Sovereigns

Mastered the Dao essence of Alchemy and the four elements essence

Experienced fortunes events

My spiritual sense was cultivated

All to seek eternity and protect my loved ones

And yet here I lie on my deathbed Imprisoned in this forsaken place

Not because I was weak or betrayed by my loved one, what I lacked was a friend who could stand by my side and challenge the universe with me,

a wife who would calm my nerves during stormy nights and a family who would welcome me home with warm smiles and stand by my side even if the whole world was against me.

Now....Successor....I cultivated to the peak on my own, in my journey all my friends and family died because of their weakness and I could do nothing but watch even with my power
