Usually, I don't read ancient theme story becauee there are too much cliche that made me imvoluntarily cringe. At first i expected this novel to be like that as well. However, after a few chapter i changed my mind. The elements of this novel took me by a surprsed with it unique female lead. The only downside is the slow update. Hope there is more chapter soon.

I’m in love with this story. There are so many unique things about this novel that me so excited when I read it. For instance the Mc’s sly yet imposing personality is really refreshing. I mean in other ancient Chinese novels, most of the female lead is timid or is really shy and can’t even stand her ground when facing the ml. Also, the mc did not fall in love at first sight which make my interest sparked even further. Lastly, the use of Chinese honorific is really intriguing. I found it amusing to keep up and remember all of them without the need to go back to check what it mean. I hope that this novel will continues and Author-chan fight fight.

Story nice with excellent character description but update rate is very slow Empress is smart and willful who let those concubines know their original place I also like the empress dowager who unlike mother in laws dotes on her daughter in law.

It's cute how the emperor is so clingy with the empress. 😂 The plot is refreshing and the characters are just perfect for the story. Although there are some grammatical errors, it's not that disturbing. 😁 Author, please update soon 🙏

Nicely done! Hope for more from you! The way the story takes place is very intriguing. Characters seem to be well fleshed out and their interactions with one another also seem to be interesting. Not like other interactions that normally seem to take place in other dramas. Especially the relationship between the Empress and Dowager Empress..
