5 The Lorians

The Lorians were the neighbours to the Maelstrom barony they were also not a barony their head was a viscount a higher tier to the baron each title were different to each other first was baron the lowest title of a noble but still much better than a commoner ever is Sear's father was a Baron and above that was a Viscount, Count, Marquis, Duke, Prince and then highest Emperor/King depending on your countries strength. Each title's owner needs someone to have merit for their country normally to gain titles each of these titles owners gain a certain status, wealth and authority energy. Authority energy was energy that someone gained which gave them better cultivation speed the energy gathered was gathered from many herbs that are very rare in the world and this energy even had the ability to give out titles below them but this required the emperor's permission and the expense of a hefty amount of energy. The energy also died with the owner.

Although assassination was not unusual in this world it was for Sear but the main reason he was shocked was that the Head of the Family's daughter was engaged to Sear. Sear was surprised at first not after thinking about it made sense.

'Why would anyone want their daughter to marry a coward, no wonder they want me dead' Sear thought before turning to the maid Ton and the guards with cold eyes and said "Put her in the cell, for now, I have more uses for her and don't tell father this and tell another maid to come and dress me it's about time I met him and grab yourselves 10 kg of monster meat each" he said as he turned away and the guards followed his command although the guards were stupefied how their young master matured so much in a single night they also were respectful to him because of how he commanded them and he even rewarded them.

"Thank you young master" the captain of the guards who was kind of grumpy to Sear before was speaking in a very respectful manner as they bowed and left with the maid. Sear felt good commanding people already as he heard a ding in his head louder than before he looked at it with excitement.

He looked at his other reward the ring he had just got he asked Fiora what this ring did and Fiora responded

Also, thing ring can break if enough damage has been dealt with it and no one can wear this item other than yourself.

Sear's eyes twinkled as he saw these effects surprised but happy as he pulled the ringer out from his spatial inventory and put it on his finger immediately. He felt power course through him from the ring and he released an aura that made him feel like he was a higher being when looking at himself. Another maid shortly after came in bowed and started changing his clothes Sear did not feel odd about this since he lived in a rich family in his previous life and he had many maids in his family that helped him change maybe not so directly but still it was the same thing. Although he looked a little bit worse in this life he still looked very handsome in this new body Sear was relieved that at least he still had something that he was confident in.

Before leaving his room he told the maid that she would be his new maid from now on she felt weirded out since this young master had never even talked to her but she complied not rejecting the extra income she would get.

After left his room he went straight for his father's courtyard his father had a more luxurious room than him as he went inside. As he went into the courtyard he felt pressure coming inside it he could feel that this pressure came from his father cultivating he was after all an early lord stage cultivator his father's cultivation was considerably high even in this empire you had to know that 3/4 of cultivators didn't even go beyond Sky stage and even lower for anyone not in this empire.

Even though he had the should poteintal of to make Sky stage cultivators uneasy he still felt pessure from the Lord aura his dad was emitting but he still walked finely to his dad until he was in front of his dad's cultivation room's door.

Sear called out "Dad its the day I go identify and activate my body," he said as soon as he said that his dad's aura decreased dramatically feeling the pressure he felt before gone. The cultivation door slowly opened and his dad stepped outside as he looked at his son with warm eyes as he said

"it's quite surprising that you made it to the middle Earth 'realm' so fast you had just broken through to the Earth realm just a few months ago" He was secretly happy and surprised at his son that he had made it to the middle stage he knew it took him 5 months from early stage to the peak stage of the Earth realm while his son had only taken 1 month to get to the middle stages of the Earth realm.

He also felt an indescribable aura coming from his son attracting him but he did not find it too weird he said "are you ready I'm quite surprised you want to check your body since you didn't even want to be a cultivator before" he said as he looked at his son surprised before Sear got into his new body he was originally not planning to be cultivator instead a historian that knew much knowledge about almsot everything.

Sear remembered his original body did want this but since the new Sear was here he made his own plans "I've decided that I want to walk the path of a cultivator and become a prince of this empire for now" he said with confidence in his voice he said as he looked at his father burly but not too much, straight posture, blue eyes and black hair.
