1 Wrecked World

The Wind was howling and the land was filled with the thick scent of blood. Countless corpses created a mountain, the mountain was so tall that it felt like touching the sky. On top of this gigantic mountain sat a man with his face towards the sky and a smile on his face.

This strange man looked like he was in his 40's and had a very muscular build, muscles were bulging out of his body. He had a handsome face but it was covered with blood only that smile was visible that was directed towards the heavens. His body was covered in cuts and bruises and there were 5 swords pierced inside of him.

Two were pierced in his stomach and three in the chest as they successfully pierced his vitals, the heart. His hunky face was pale but that smile didn't fade.

There was not a single living creature in the radius of thousand miles. The ground was littered with corpses of warriors and their beasts. Some corpses were so disfigured that it was difficult to determine which were the humans and which were the beasts. They just looked like meat pulp.

A river 100 miles wide was flowing but the color had changed from blue to red. It looked as if the whole river wore a crimson veil.

By the looks of it one can determine that there was a huge battle, this battle was so intense that if it were to be continued then the whole world would have been devoured.

Who were fighting.... 2 continents?.....No, maybe it was an all out war between the 8 continents or was it a war between gods and humans.....?

It was neither of the above.

This war was between the whole world and a single person. Millions of warriors against that one single person. Yes, it's that majestic man who was still looking at the sky and no one knows what he was thinking.

Apparently, this monster of a guy slaughtered everything and everyone in its way.

"HAHAHAHA!! finally I did it, Didn't I promise you Itzel, I will slaughter the whole world, I fulfilled my promise, I-I Did it, Now you just have to fulfill yours...Y...You J-Just wait, w-we will meet so...soon", as the man spoke tears poured down his bright little eyes. He didn't look like a death god or a slaughterer, as he cried he looked like a small kid who rejected this world.

His bright eyes were like an ocean of tears, behind them lied an untold story. As the tear drops poured down from his eyes clearing the blood in its way, each drop of it was like a peerless pearl filled with agony, pain, sorrow, misery and grief.

The man suddenly took out those 3 swords that were pierced deep inside his chest, a sudden burst of blood flooded out of his chest. It was a fountain of blood.

"I guess time has finally come to meet you Itzel, I can happily sleep now ", the man threw away the swords and laid back.

Roll! Roll!

As there wasn't a support the body of the man rolled down from the summit of the gigantic corpse mountain.

Thud!

After a while the body finally touched the ground.

Rumble! Rumble!

Thunder flashed across the sky and hit the lifeless body of that man. The lightning was so powerful that it had the will to exterminate the heavens and earth.

As it struck the body, something unimaginable occurred, a faint figure appeared. It was that of the man that had just died. It floated out from its body, it was his soul.

"What is this? Is this hell?....Wait No! How come I am here?" the man frowned but the next thing he saw made him dumbfounded.

" Is that my body? Then how come I'm here floating in air?", the man examined his hands and feet.

But then he noticed that he couldn't even feel his own body. He then tried to touch his own body that was in eternal slumber on the ground but his hands went through the body as he couldn't touch anything except air.

Suddenly the dark sky became so bright that it was like a hundred suns illuminated it and a loud emotionless voice echoed everywhere, "Xi Ansel, you destroyed the peace, slaughtered millions of humans, burnt villages, towns, cities and now even the remaining 8 continents were done by you, you destroyed this precious world I created.... just for a mere human?"

This voice was so loud that it shook the entire world.

This man named Xi Ansel looked up towards the sky, he still couldn't see anything because of the bright light but he opened his eyes and roared, " I don't know who you are....Hmmm! You say, you made this world so maybe you are God...Ah! Did you say a 'mere human'?.....Hah! for someone like you we may be toys or insignificant tools but for me that 'mere human' was more than my life and in the end what happened to her, this goddamn so called 'peace loving world' killed her and what did I do?.... I was so insignificant, I didn't even have the power to protect her....I just want to ask you, "Did you plan all this? Were we a part of your SCHEMES".

The voice was silent for a minute.

"Gosh! He was right, you really are a riveting one, I came here to bring you back with me to another world to the trial but it looks like its not going to happen", the voice sighed.

"If I were to force you to come then his plans might hinder, so I can only follow what he instructed- I know what you want the most, it's to meet that human girl...…Fine! Fine!...….Now don't look at me like that I will send you 30 years in the past but there is a condition", saying so the voice from the sky stopped.

Upon hearing that, 'he could meet Itzel' Xi Ansel was so delighted that he couldn't even think of anything, it was like after walking a thousand miles under the scorching sun in a desert you see an oasis. But there was something he still didn't understand, 'who was this voice referring as 'he'?'

With an ecstatic expression he spoke towards the voice, " Can you really send me 30 years in past, if yes then I will accept any of your condition!"

"Good! We will meet again after 30 years have passed, at the same time and the same place, you will have to leave this world and come with me- this is my condition", the voice slowly dimmed.

Xi Ansel knew that if he were to be sent to past then he could change everything, save her and that's enough for him, with a heavy voice he sighed, "Fine, I accept your condition".

As soon as he said this a ball of light, palm sized which was changing its color rapidly from red to green to blue to yellow to black descended from the sky and went towards the soul of Xi Ansel that was floating in the air.

Shhhhinggg!!

A voice rang throughout the plains and there was a sudden burst of yellow light. It was so bright that it lit up the whole world. It lasted for a few seconds but the next moment the soul along with the lifeless body disappeared.

"This is a small gift from him, to help you reach your goals faster", the voice disappeared and the sky once again became dark. No-one was there except for the littered corpses and the howling wind.

In a small cottage at the outskirts of a city a 15 year old boy was sleeping, and suddenly woke up.

"Huh! I did come back, I can feel it, I can feel my body....I really did come back", Xi Ansel was delighted as he was touching his cheeks and seeing himself in the broken mirror which hung in his small cottage made him very happy.

[CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE SUCESSFULLY TRAVELLED 30 YEARS IN PAST]

A sudden crisp emotionless robotic voice was heard in Xi Ansel's head. It was neither of a man's nor of a woman.

"Where is this voice coming from? Is it talking to me?", Xi Ansel thought.

[YES, I'M TALKING TO YOU MASTER & I'M INSIDE YOU]

For a moment Xi Ansel was appalled but then he remembered the faint voice saying something while disappearing from the battlefield, 'This is a small gift from him, to help you reach your goals faster' and he remembered how the ball of light went towards his chest. He suddenly unbuttoned his shirt and saw that on his chest was a mark of a red, green, blue, yellow and black dragon coiling around each other.

Xi Ansel was flabbergasted for a minute." My skills are locked? Then doesn't that mean I would be able to get them as soon as I get stronger and even the cultivation techniques!
