But Daren was not done yet. To create a perfect sea of individuality, He had held back his breakthrough for a long time. He was now desperate to increase his power as soon as possible.
He has broken through, to soul rank.
One reaches the peak of soul rank, when, one can project his mental energy outside his body and can use it to attack as well. When one master the control of his mental energy and had accumulated sufficient energy level, he is said to be ready to breakthrough to the next level.
Daren did not end his seclusion. He had enough reserves, all he need is control. He started practising his control of mental energy. He kept practising and experimenting with it.
For a normal person, maintaining the mental energy outside his/her body even for a few seconds, is very taxing. But the depletion of mental energy didn't affect Daren, as he has high reserves. Thus he continued his practice without stop.
"Every time I move the mental energy out of my body, I lose control over it. Damn!!"
"Well, guess I'll have to take it slow. Let's start with small quantities and increase the amount slowly."
Few hours passed by. Daren has finally learnt to controlled a small portion of his mental energy. But he didn't proceed with trying to control more. Instead, he kept experimenting with the little energy he could control. With this he tried to gain further understanding as well as learn the true extent of the power he can harness.

Daren has finally learnt to control all of the mental energy. Once he learned to control a part of it, controlling more energy wasn't that tough anymore.
Daren still decided to practice it one more day before preparing for the next breakthrough.
Next day, after having a good rest and making preparations, Daren was now ready to breakthrough to the next level, the C rank.
Normally, this is the time where one create his dantian. But as per Daren's godly cultivation technique, he need to open his vital points.
There are total of 361 vital points in a human body. Once all 361 points are opened, one's body is no longer a mortal body. It gains immense strength, immeasurable in normal terms.
But it is also said to be a very painful process, that only a few can endure. And thus people with such strength are rare. Also those who undergo such a trail while being in human realm, can be counted on one hand.
According to the cultivation technique, this is a very painful method, and thus to ease the pain, opening of these 361 points was divided into 6 parts. Each part opens a set of points. Each set of points cover the entire body, so that the balance of power in the body does not change.
For the first part, one has to open 9 points. The nine major points. This method of dividing the process in 6 parts, has converted the process form extremely painful one to mildly painful one.
To open the points, one has to puncture holes at certain fixed locations within their body with the help of their Mental force, and let the elemental energy accumulate at that place. Even a slight deviation while puncturing holes can lead one to be crippled for life.
When the accumulated energy reach the maximum capacity, it will break the vital points and start re-forming new and bigger vital points. But at this time, the energy which doesn't have any wall blocking it from spreading, may run rampant in the body, thus destroying it in the process. Thus, to prevent accidents from happening, one has to concentrate his mental energy to cover the vital points after they break, untill new and bigger points are created.
The process can't be stopped mid way as, if stopped, the energy will flood the body and destroy it form inside.
The nine points include 1 points in each arm and leg, 3 in the torso and 2 in the head. Of these 9 points, 4 points are of extreme importance.
The first point is at almost the same place as where the dantian is normally situated. This point is known as the 'Point of Creation' .
The second one is located at the center of the upper chest. This point is the 'Point of Life'.
The Third point is situated in the center of the brows, known as the 'Point of ãtmã'. Which also means the point which connects to the soul.
And the forth one is situated at the top of the head, in the center, it is known as the 'Point of Knowledge'.

Daren removed his robes and laid down on a flat floor. He divided his mental energy in 9 parts. He then picked up 9 fine needles with his mental energy and guided them towards the nine points.
He checked the location of the points twice and after verifying, inserted the needles in those points.
'They said, one will feel a little pain, but I feel none. Maybe the constitution of my body is better than others. Now let's remove the needles and finish the process.' Daren pondered.
Daren sent a new thread of his mental energy to monitor his body, and used the previous nine threads of mental energy to removed the needles from his body, while still maintaining a connection between the outside world and the vital points to ensure a steady flow of elemental energy.

Sounds of needle dropping could be heard.
What followed was the painful growl from Daren.
"aaarrrggghhh... F*cking Bastard.... Aarghh.."
Daren gritted his teeth and tried to concentrate his mental energy inside his body.
Concentrating while being in so much pain was extremely hard, but Daren still endured the pain while gritting his teeth and raining curses at the one who wrote the cultivation technique.
"... Arghh!!.... Mild pain!!.... Mild my ass....f*ck..."
He endured through... Slowly the points started re-forming. His pain started to lessen. He used all his concentration to maintain his mental energy around the points.
Slowly, the points were re-formed. They slowly started gathering elemental energy within them. It took them few hours to be completely filled.
The 6 parts are divided such that, vital points within each part from a continuous circuit. The points are all connected to each other through pipe like veins. So when all the points were being filled, the elemental energy also passed through these small pipe like veins and filled them too. Thus forming a complete cycle.
Daren was panting heavily. His mental energy didn't run out, but his body was tired. He couldn't continue the next breakthrough directly, like he has hoped for.
Daren has officially broken through to C rank. He was tired but he was happy. He fell asleep right there. He had no energy to spend.

Arius was waiting outside. When he heard Daren's screams, he was a little worried. But he still stood his ground as Daren has already informed him about this. He covered the area with mental energy, thus stopping any sound to leak out.
When the noise stop. He barged in to check the condition of Daren.
"Lord!!" Arius was startled to see Daren lying on the floor. He rushed to check on him.
'He is fine. Thank God. His strength is drained and thus he lost consciousness.'
When he found Daren fine, he relaxed. He lifted him up and placed him on the bed and then left the room and stood guard outside again.
