1 An Introduction to my normal life

"You are late" Mr. Jensen says as I enter his office "I was..." "I don't care why you were late, just give me the damn cup of coffee, and get back to work, the phone hasn't stopped ringing, and is driving me nuts" he snaps at me "Yes, Sir" I say as I hand him a cup of coffee, turn around, and head to my desk. This man is impossible, he is mad with me just because I was late, when it is his fault that I was late, he was the one who sent me to the other side of the city to get him a damn cup of coffee. I hate when Mr. Jensen is in a terrible mood and he wants to get it off with me **SIGH** I am not going to stress about it, I am not going to get mad about it, I have a lot of work to do, and getting into a terrible mood just like my boss will not help at all.

"SARAH!" Mr. Jensen shouts, I was in his office, why did he wait for me to get my desk? Why didn't he ask me for what he needed when I was there? **SIGH** Don't pay attention to him, he just wants to push your buttons "SARAH!" he shouts again, I grab my notebook, and head back to his office "Mr. Jensen" I call back as I open my notebook "You have my agenda, I can't begin to work without my agenda, would you be so kind of giving it to me, or do you expect me to keep wasting my time, because of you?" he snaps at me again "Sir, your agenda is on your phone, remember, but if you need it on paper, here it is" I say as I place a copy of his agenda on his desk "Is there anything else I can do for you, sir?" I ask and he shakes his head as he fetches his phone from his pocket.

I was not wrong, this man is determined to make my day more difficult than it already is.

"Good morning, Sarah" a very familiar voice says and my bad mood courtesy of Mr. Jensen is gone "Morning Mr. Howard, how are you today?" I ask in is my sweetest and nicest voice tone "I'm fine, thanks for asking, but judging by Philip's screams, I assume you are not fine, neither is he" he answers "I ignore what's bothering Mr. Jensen today, I just got here" I answer "The annual board meeting is on Monday, and you know that always gets him in a terrible mood" Mr. Howard says "I know, I have to organize that meeting, but when Mr. Jensen gets into a terrible mood, he asks me to do impossible tasks, just to find an excuse to shout at me when I don't complete them, at this rate, the meeting will never take place, and he will have my head in a silver platter" I say as I rest my head on my hands "Lucky for you, I am going to get him talking, so he can release some of that terrible mood, and you can work in peace" Mr. Howard says and I smile at him "Thank you" I say, he winks at me, and I melt as I watch Mr. Howard enter Mr. Jensen's office.

James Howard is the man every single woman dreams to be married with. He is always so gentle, so kind, so caring, so polite, he shares with everybody, he always has a smile on his face for everyone, and he is good looking, he is perfect, in every sense of the word, there is not a flaw on him, nobody can't say anything bad about Mr. Howard, because it would be a lie. On the other hand, I can't say the same about my boss, Philip Jensen, he is the man every single woman have to deal with on a daily basis, he is rude, he is so serious, so private, but most important, HE IS ALWAYS IN A TERRIBLE MOOD, I swear, Mr. Jensen wakes up every morning and sucks on a lemon, I have never met someone so grumpy, so full bitterness in my life, seeing Mr. Jensen smiling is nearly impossible, and I say nearly, because I saw him smile once, it was the most beautiful thing I have never seen, he was happy, full of joy, and for the first time in 6 years, he was not in terrible mood, but that phase of him didn't lasted long, but as quick as that smile came as quick it went back to in danger of extinction.

"First, you get late to work, now, you are daydreaming, shall I start seeking for your replacement, Miss Adams?" Mr. Jensen says, I sigh as I ignore his senseless anger towards my persona, and get back to my list of tasks "This board meeting is truly worrying you, are you sure you are okay?" Mr. Howard asks as he exits Mr. Jensen's office "James..." "You just threaten to fire the only woman who has been able to stand your craziness" Mr. Howard says as he cuts Mr. Jensen off in mid answer, Mr. Jensen sighs "No, I am expected to announce my engagement in this years meeting, if I don't, the board members will be choosing a more suitable candidate for the position" Mr. Jensen says and I keep checking things off my task list, why? This has nothing to do with me.

"Engagement? Philip, you are not even dating, well not since you broke up with Sofia, which was 6 years ago" Mr. Howard says and Mr. Jensen is silent "Philip" Mr. Howard calls and Mr. Jensen sighs "You are dating?" Mr. Howard asks "Yes" Mr. Jensen answers, I frown as I keep working, who would be crazy enough to date Mr. Jensen? I can't picture myself or any woman waking up every morning to that terrible mood "Who is she? Why am I finding about her now?" Mr. Howard asks "You know me, James, I'm private, I don't like sharing such details with anyone" Mr. Jensen answers "True, yet, I don't understand your worry, if you have a girl, there is nothing to worry about" Mr. Howard says "We are not on that level yet, we have been fighting a lot lately, and I am scared that if I ask her, she will say no, and dump me" Mr. Jensen answers, I stop typing, this is first time I have seen Mr. Jensen open up, been vulnerable, poor guy "Aww" I say and they look at me "Sorry, I am not here" I say as I go back to typing "Dude, you are a nice catch, I am sure that if you ask, she will say yes, but just in case explain the meeting to her, so she has compassion of your soul" Mr. Howard says and Mr. Jensen sighs "I'll talk to her later, I'll allow the water to cool down" Mr. Jensen says as he heads to this office "Can I know something about her?" Mr. Howard asks as he follows Mr. Jensen.

That would explain why he is making my day extra horrible, he is having problems with his girlfriend, which I have never met or seen such a girlfriend in the 6 years I have been working for Mr. Jensen, which makes me wonder, if this girlfriend is real or is Mr. Jensen making her up? But why would he? I mean, Mr. Jensen is not hard on the eyes, he just needs to be less cranky, now that I think about it, every Valentine's day, April 4th, and June 17th, Mr. Jensen orders flowers for someone, I thought that it was for his mother, but Mrs. Jensen passed away many years ago, and none of those dates matches her birthday and date of departure, also Mr. Philip doesn't have siblings, so he must order flowers for his girlfriend, maybe she doesn't live in the US...And I shouldn't be worrying about it, because I have lots of work to do.
