IN THE BEGINNING.

Elizabeth was born to a black mother, and a White Afrikaans speaking father. This would be strictly prohibited, if it was a Fe years back during the apartheid era. The year is 2003, with a free independent South Africa, so who would have a say again it. She is the last born, to both her mother, and father. With Elizabeth's father being 10 years older, her mother had told herself that, "Age is just a number". Her father, has long been hurt by love, and her mother has long been searching for love, both afraid to love again, but jumping in either way. Elizabeth's parents were not married to one another yet, so they were not living in the same house. Her father would only come to visit them once in a while, since he would be cought up with work, at his farm. Elizabeth grew like any child should, then suddenly, when she was 2 years old, her mother fell mentally ill. This is where the story of Elizabeth starts.
