32 Making New Relationships

The atmosphere became silent again, confused for the girl to re-open the conversation, Arzlan was too cold and difficult to melt.

"Do you mind if I come with you?" She wants to see how Arzlan would respond to this selfish desire.

"I told you, you do as you wish! I didn't think about it!"

"Then at least suppose my existence!"

Arzlan saw eyes full of hope expecting him to give an appropriate answer, but Arzlan didn't give him any answer. The man just rolled his eyes.

Arzlan's attitude made the girl even more worried, she felt that Arzlan really didn't want to see her.

"Have you really lost sense of being as a living creature?"

The girl's eyes flashed a deep sadness, Arzlan wondered why the girl really wanted to care about her condition.

"I haven't felt happiness for a long time, if I were to choose to face all problems with a smile or a frown, I would choose to frown. Happiness sometimes only happens temporarily, while suffering will come and imprint in the heart!"

Hearing Arzlan's words, the girl couldn't say anything. She had to admit that it was the truth, life was full of suffering, that happiness was just like the wind passed so quickly.

"Are you unable to see the beauty in this world?"

"It's hard for me to say, in this world I've been through too much difficult time that makes all meaningless!"

"Is that so!" The woman's heart felt sorry for Arzlan, she didn't think there was a creature more miserable than her. "Then how about you turn over a new leaf to see the future?" A faint smile was used to encourage Arzlan.

"Hmm… I guess fate would never be able to give me the chance to do that!" Arzlan looked up at the night sky, the day was cloudy like was supporting his feelings.

"You know, I was able to walk because I met you! I think you also have to turn over a new leaf to be able to move forward!" She kept trying to evoke Arzlan's feelings which had become hard as rock in the deep ocean.

"I don't know, I guess that's too hard to do!" Arzlan never expected that the future would give him something good.

She lowered her eyes again to the blazing fire, that girl seemed to have tried enough to make Arzlan change his perspective, but it would sound impossible to conquer a dragon that has strength in his attitude.

"Huh… can't you think a little more about changing the past?"

"I'm currently going to change the past, but that doesn't mean I have to be soft like people who believe that everything will be fine with time, this hand is okay even if it has to bleed, the path I have chosen is useless to stop right here!"

"Uh..." She really couldn't imagine how much hatred Arzlan had towards people in his past. "Then after you managed to do that, what plan will you do next?"

"Huh… can't you think a little more about changing the past?"

"I'm currently going to change the past, but that doesn't mean I have to be soft like people who believe that everything will be fine along with time, this hand is okay even if it has to bleed, the path I have chosen is useless to stop right here!"

"Uh..." She really couldn't imagine how much hatred Arzlan had towards people in his past. "Then after you managed to do that, what plan will you do next?"

"I don't know, as long this breath lasts maybe I will change the bad things that happen in this world!" A great ambition was contained in Arlzan's words.

The girl saw something strange from Arzlan's body, from the words that came out as if she was looking at the figure of a man who would be able to lead the world in a better direction.

"Now where are you going?"

Arzlan looked at the sword he placed near the fire. "For now I need new equipment, when I fought the monster earlier this sword felt dull!"

"Hmm… that's right! Alright, I'll help you to get new equipment!"

"Why did you have to do that?"

"I told you, I will still go with you as a debt of gratitude for this life and respect that you have given me! I've got the purpose of life which is to be your partner!"

"What about that person who treated your mother? Don't you want to avenge what he did?"

"I'll definitely do it, but I can do all that later until I'm strong enough to do it!"

"Is that so!"

"Alright, from today on I will be your partner, so you must consider my existence to exist and I will also consider you as a very valuable person! As a first greeting, my name is Alisha!" She straightened herself while introducing, the tone that came out of her mouth was firm.

Arzlan rolled his eyes, this was far from the scenario he had planned from the start. Didn't think that he would now meet a girl, if he had met that girl in the past, he might not so cold like this.

"Now it's your turn to introduce yourself!"

"Eh? Do I have to do that too?"

"Sure, this is our introduction as a partner!" Alisha said in a firm tone.

"My name is Arzlan, I'm just an ordinary creature, there's nothing special about me!" Arzlan's tone was very flat as if there was no spirit in it.

"I was hoping that you would say in a more enthusiastic tone, but that's okay! Nice to meet Arzlan!" Alisha smiled sweetly at Arzlan, the girl's face was able to attract other people. As a woman, she is a superior creature that is most sought by men, that makes sense why people will sell her at a high price.

The silent night closed with the introduction of two people who had different backgrounds, but were met with a fairly gruesome event. Arzlan didn't know how he could respond to it as a gift or not, it never occurred to him to have a partner.

"If you want to be my partner, then you have to prove yourself worthy!"

Alisha was surprised, what would Arzlan do to her.

Tomorrow morning the journey will continue again, there is no feeling of tiredness to walk. They arrived at a fairly large field, fields of flowers adorned the place, under the sun the appearance of flowers like very precious gems.

Arzlan and Alisha walked again, everything looked beautiful as far as the eye could see. However, the atmosphere changed when a monster suddenly appeared, it somehow managed to emerge from the sky and land in front them.

"That's great! This is the perfect time to get new powers from this monster!" Arzlan became excited when he saw the level of the opponent in front of him was quite high.

"Should I fight this monster? I mustn't hesitate, this might be a test for me to prove myself as partner of Master Arzlan!"
