18 He's The One Who Intended

"If you don't believe what he says. Look inside the wagon cart!"

Quickly the young man checked the cart accompanied by the other elves.

When the cart has been opened. The atmosphere became silent with eyes staring at each other. A woman immediately hugged the young man.

Tears welled up in the young man's eyes.

"Y-Big Brother!"

The voice he thought he would never hear again could now be heard. Slowly he hugged his sister.

Then the women began to out from the cart. The atmosphere of emotion happened, they shed tears.

After the bad incident that happened, they are very grateful that they can still be reunited with their children, brothers, or wives.

Arzlan got off the carriage to make sure that everything was fine. The young man approached Arzlan who was followed by another elf.

"S-Sir, we apologize for the accusations we have made against you." His head bowed regretfully, he didn't know how to get Arzlan to take advantage of him.

"Raise your heads!" With a loud voice, Arzlan gave a command to every elf ear that heard it. "Me doing this doesn't mean I won't ask you guys to pay."

The words make shocked everyone. They didn't think that the people who they thought had given them salvation would ask for something in return for those who had lost everything.

"S-Sir, but what are we supposed to pay you with?" The young man tried to make Arzlan understand his condition and the village. Aall our belongings have been lost and houses have been destroyed, currently we have no choice, we only can leave this forest and rebuild the village, but if we get caught by the soldiers then. We will be slaughtered."

"I'm not asking you for money, but I'm asking for loyalty!" Once again Arzlan's words surprised everyone. "I want you to be faithful in defending the path that I have formed. Do you want freedom, serenity, security, and glory?" His eyes scanned every face. "Then you have to create all that with your blood and sweat! Do you want something like this to happen to your descendants in the future? Nothing will change if today, this second you don't dare to step up and make a change!"

Everyone was silent when they heard Arzlan's words goosebumps and fear entered their hearts, but there was a special aura that raised their spirits. The brain that was digesting Arzlan's words began to realize that what they heard was indeed the truth.

They began to stare at each other questioningly as if they were the only ones who thought that.

"S-Sir, what makes you think that we can do that?" asked the young man.

"Who knows! However, if you want to see a brighter future, then you have to fight for it."

"What did this man say? Does he intend to go against the kingdom?" The elf woman who was with Arzlan was surprised. "His demeanor and words truly symbolize a leader, but will the elves in this village be able to accept what he says?" After she finished speaking inwardly, her eyes became very surprised because the elves flashed eyes of courage.

"This man said is absolutely true!" The young man began to express all his feelings towards the elves. "Are we going to let things like this still continue, only being considered as lowly beings, when we just want to live in peace."

The whole spirit of the elves began to burn the soul.

"Sir!" The young man stood facing Arzlan, he smiled broadly. "We who are here are ready to support you. We are ready to help you in dealing with the problems that exist in order to make freedom for the entire elf race in this village. We are ready to exterminate the people of the kingdom."

"Don't be naive!" Arzlan denied the young man's words. "I will only be the angel of death for those who have tarnished the peace in this world. Whoever he is, from whatever race he is, if he has done violence in this world then I will cut him down. Including you!"

Everyone became silent hearing Arzlan's words. The stares and deep voices emitted were enough to make the entire body shiver in fear.

"Uh… this man he really wants to change all the rules in this world!" said the elf woman from her heart

After saying that Arzlan started walking towards the cart.

"S-Sir!" The young man stopped Arzlan when walking.

Arzlan turned his head back.

"If you don't mind staying in this village for just one night!"

Arzlan didn't answer those words, he just stepped back. The young man felt a little sad because he didn't get an answer from Arzlan.

But. Arzlan suddenly stopped. "I am indeed going to rest for the night. In the cart!"

The elven youth smiled happily. "Thank you very much."

The next day…

Arzlan woke up due to sunlight piercing into his eyes. "It's already morning! Uhm?" Arzlan felt that something warm had just been touched by his right hand.

When he saw her, his hand was already crushed by the body of the elf woman who Arzlan had first saved.

"Eh…." Arzlan became surprised, he reflexively withdrew his hand. The girl became moved due to Arzlan's hand which suddenly moved so fast past the back of her body.

The girl's face is so beautiful with white hair and thin lips, it's no wonder why the bastard noble man couldn't contain his lust when he saw the girl.

Arzlan get out from there, he couldn't stand seeing the girl's curves, he was afraid that the lust in his body would be provoked and something unexpected would happen.

"Uh!" The elven youth saw Arzlan just getting out of the cart. He quickly approached him. "Sir!"

Arzlan turned towards the source of the voice.

"May I be your disciple?"

"Huh? Not!" replied Arzlan firmly.

"Uh..." Instantly the young man's eyes dropped withering.

"Listen, I'm not here to teach you anything. Besides, will I be able to give you an ability? You will only become food from the darkness if you become my disciple!" Arzlan was actually just bluffing so that the young man wouldn't become his disciple.

"I see, but is what you said last night really you would do?"

Arzlan was silent, after he thought. The words that came out of his mouth last night were a bit exaggerated, he seemed like he inciting the elves to follow his path.

"It is a lie!" So he was willing to cover it with simple words.

The young man became surprised to hear Arzlan's answer. "What? Was it all just a lie?"

"Yeah, it's just a lie, after all that's all I did just to encourage you guys!"

The young man was silent. He didn't feel at all that what Arzlan had said earlier was a lie, but when he heard it was just a lie he believed that it was all the truth.
