30 Faith is Strong Enough

"What happened here?" The woman was completely shocked by the horrific scene, blood was splashed all over the place and a fishy smell spread throughout the area.

After a few steps she witnessed something even more shocking, a body lying on the ground with blood flowing continuously. Someone has killed the wolf that was biting Arzlan.

That monster previously looked so terrifying, it was hard to imagine how a creature would defeat it. But, that was the reality, the person who had defeated the wolf was none other than Arzlan himself.

The man sat leaning on the wolf's massive body, his hands covered with red blood that turned his clothes red.

The woman slowly approached Arzlan, Arzlan reflexively pointed his sword at the source of the sound he heard.

"Uh? It's was you!" Arzlan lowered his sword.

"Wow, it's great you can defeat a monster like this!"

"This not a big problem!"

The level of the monster that Arzlan defeated was 30, a level of that size was enough to become a very tough creature and difficult to defeat.

"Uh? You seem to be injured!" The woman saw that there were skin lacerations on several of Arzlan's bodies, and her conscience rushed to treat the man's wounds.

"You don't have to worry about that!"

Even though Arzlan said that the woman still tried to treat his wound.

"Recuperation!"

From the girl's palm, a bright green light appeared that began to string cells on Arzlan body back to normal, the wound disappeared like swallowed by the wind.

"You can use recovery magic?"

"Yeah, I can only use level 2 to 3 magic and it's not that much!" The woman became a little embarrassed to show her abilities.

Arzlan squinted his eyes. "Oh, I see!" Actually Arzlan didn't really feel the pain from the wound, all of his body senses seemed already die to feel the pain.

***

Before leaving Arzlan and the girl rested for a while, the atmosphere became quiet. Reluctant for their mouths to start a conversation with each other, Arzlan had not seen other people for a long time, it felt strange for him to start a conversation.

"What should I do? I came here to help him, but why do I feel so awkward when I'm only with him!" Inside, the woman kept shouting to encourage her to be closer with Arzlan.

"Answer me!"

"Uh?" She was slightly surprised to hear the tone of voice that was filled with a cold aura.

"What makes you want to follow me?" Arzlan is annoyed if he has to involve other people in his personal affairs, he doesn't want to get obstacles in the way that might slow his progress.

"I actually have no purpose in life, I am not an Elf as you see!"

"Uh?" Arzlan became surprised by the girl's words, he didn't understand what he had just heard. The girl's physique is very suitable to be categorized as an Elf with pointed ears and clean skin, hearing her words Arzlan felt it was just a lie.

"Actually I am a Half Elf, I was born to a mother who is an elf race and father to an ordinary human! Their marriage was opposed by the Elf's side so she was exiled far away to the Sanzri territory, there she gave birth to me and raised me with love!"

"Where's your father?"

The woman found it hard to say. "My father was a scoundrel who had impregnated my mother, then he leave her!" Her hands clenched tightly. "I'm traveling to kill that bastard, even if I have to be tired I will definitely kill him!"

"Now where is your mother?" Arzlan thinks it would be impossible for a mother to let her daughter go to a world full of dangers just for revenge.

"5 years ago she died, before she died she gave a message to live to be a better woman!" Tears came to her eyes when the face of her mother appeared in her mind, the figure had always encouraged her

"Oh, I see!" Arzlan understands what the girl feels. "Life is always cruel, wherever we come from we will definitely meet with misfortune!"

The more tears flowed the girl while heard Arzlan's words, the words really touched her heart.

"Hiks… hiks… hiks… can I still have a better life?"

"Who knows! You don't ask someone like me, you have to prove it yourself whether you deserve to be happy or not! I am a being was discarded by the world so you shouldn't be asking like that!"

The woman became curious about what made Arzlan have a murderous aura that could not disappear from his body, that man was very scary if other people just met him. But, there is another side that is very bright from deep in his heart, he has something that words cannot explain.

"Can I be your companion to carry out what you are going to do?"

Arzlan looked at the girl seriously, not the sweet face he saw but the seriousness reflected in the girl's eyes. "What makes you want to go with someone like me?"

"I can't figure it out, my heart keeps telling me to follow you even more so I feel I owe you my life and honor!" Her cheeks turned red, she was embarrassed at the first meeting when bad things almost happened to her.

"I don't think you need to do that!"

"Why?"

"If you come with me, you will see bad things! I'm here to take revenge against the people who treated me like an animal! I will hunt them forever, even if the whole world must hate me!"

The woman was horrified watching Arzlan's emotions which spread a hateful aura. "Are you going to kill them?"

"Yeah, it's most likely that! I'm ready to stain these hands if it has to be done, what has happened they will have to pay for it!"

"Uh..." The girl shuddered to hear Arzlan say that. "Strong ambition radiates from his eyes, he really doesn't play around in his words!"

"I don't think you need to come along with me! This has nothing to do with you!" Arzlan didn't want to drag other people towards the big ambition in his heart.

"What are you talking about, I have made up my mind, whatever happens I will still go with you! If the world has to hate you then I will be there to defend you!" The woman spoke in a high-pitched voice while smiling enthusiastically.

"What are you saying? You're too much!"

"No, I'm serious no matter what happens I will definitely help you!"

Arzlan could not give a reply. "It's up to you!"
