After slaughtering all the Mana beasts like a madman, Nacht prepares to silently traverse the Heart Kingdom. He rests in the forest for one night and then sets off at dawn.

After giving Nacht the task, Undine ordered some Heart's Knights to help Nacht clear the forest. Yes, Undine considered him a powerful person, but he didn't believe that he could do the task alone, much less in one day.

The day Nacht left the forest at dawn, five Heart's Knights came to the forest at the request of Undine. They were also worried about the situation getting out of hand.

If the forest couldn't be cleared in time, many villages would be raided by Mana Beasts and devastate the already pressured Heart Kingdom.

On the border, Spade Kingdom was constantly making moves and tried to breach the Heart Kingdom, the Queen's death, and the beast's situation. This was truly the time when the Heart Kingdom was at its lowest.

But what the Knights saw inside the forest shocked them to the core. Piles upon piles of Mana Beast's corpses were scattered around the whole area.

As if a storm had come, thousands of scavenger beasts were feasting upon the dead bodies. It was a gruesome sight to behold. The whole of nature was dyed into the blood's color.

"What in the Gods happened here?" asked one of the Knights. Although they were battle-hardened veterans, the sight baffled him, and he was making a disgusted face.

"I don't know, but we have to inform Undine-san," Another replied, with the same look on his face.

Just like a true hero, Nacht has just killed and destroyed everything but never bothered to clean it up. Who even does that?* pfft* cleaning up isn't the job of a hero.

"Undine-Sama said that there will be another person here in our mission. Did he do this?" said one of the knights that were analyzing this situation.

"I hope not. I cannot trace anyone in this forest. It will mean that the said person is roaming in the Heart Kingdom freely" All of them had a shiver down their spine when they thought about such a monster roaming with normal people.

Undine's face darkened when she heard the situation. The person who called himself Shadow cleared thousands of Mana Beasts in one night and disappeared. If this was a human saying this, nobody would believe it. But when a superior spirit says it, it changes things.

Spirits can't lie; the most they can do is hide the truth. And the confession that Undine made clearly proved that the story was true.

She wanted Shadow to be in the sights of Heart Kingdom. After all, no matter how pure one's mana is, she can't just let them run free in her Kingdom.

Shadow has completed his side of the promise made with Undine and disappeared, as you know... Shadow.

Now, she can't even track Nacht across her Kingdom because Lolopechka was a child and couldn't control her mana properly. And even if she tried to track him, she would have to decrease the sensitivity of detection at the border, which wasn't worth it in any way.

She just sighs to herself. She can't do anything drastic because she was the one who proposed this deal. And also because didn't want to offend Shadow and make already depressed the Heart Kingdom another powerful enemy.

Rumors of Shadow spread throughout the whole Heart Kingdom like wildfire. Most of the Heart's Knights were baffled by the news, but they confirmed that this was indeed the truth.

While the Heart Kingdom was in an uproar, Clover Kingdom was also going crazy. The tension was rising between the Clover Kingdom and the Diamond Kingdom. Both of the Kingdom's Knights were on a standoff for more than 17 hours on the border.

Thankfully no dispute occurred, and no nutjob started an attack. War had officially not started, but still, both Kingdoms were arming themselves to the teeth.

Many contracts were given for magic items and weapons in the market to prepare for war. The Kingdom was spending from its coffers.

And to participate in this race, the whole shadow garden was working tirelessly on project RedBull.

"So this is why master wanted us to create the mana potion?" Alpha said, truly mesmerized

"Stop daydreaming and work. We need more of these resources." Beta handed over a list of things.

While Nacht was hopping trees and singing, the whole world was tirelessly struggling for one thing or another.

What everyone feared was the Alliance of the Spade Kingdom and the Diamond Kingdom. If that happens, the Clover Kingdom will be sucked dry to the core. Heart Kingdom was in no shape of a full-blown conflict. They were desperately defending their own territory from intruders.

Heart Kingdom will not sustain long-period aggression, then the Clover Kingdom will have to battle both Diamond and the Spade Kingdom.

Thankfully, the relationship between both Militaristic Kingdoms was okay at best. Both had pride that refused them to team up with their rival and attack other Kingdoms.

What the officials didn't understand was why hasn't the Spade Kingdom invaded yet. They were just sending small groups to hunt the refugees into the Heart Kingdom. Officially, there was no declaration of war, nor have there been any negotiations between these Kingdoms.

They didn't know that the group called the dark Triad had started a rebellion against the existing rulers and already took more than half of the control of the Kingdom. The royal family was surrounded and forced to run away from the capital.

Dark Triad, with the help of superior devils, were cutting through the enemies like butter with a hot knife. With nobody discovering their existence, they successfully fooled everyone into thinking that the recent conflict from the Spade Kingdom was the order of the Royal Family.

Here, Nacht received a message about the situation inside the Diamond Kingdom, and he decided it to be his next destination.
