Chapter 28-2

"I'm not here to fight." He raised his hands in surrender. "I came to ask for help."

I tried hiding my laugh at the image that Edward made with his stance and costume.

"You do realize I'm one of those werebeasts that should have died at birth as you put it so nicely before."

"I'm sorry about that; I'm decided to change from my old ideals. Because I need your help. My younger sister sent me a letter four days ago and told me that she found out that she has a magical ability."

I felt bad for him because I could tell what kind of household came from, many of the villagers are like his.

"Is your family full of non-human haters?"

"Yes, and now I'm worried for her because her twin brother hates non-humans even more than I originally did. She could die this summer because of him."

I reached over and patted his shoulder. The poor girl must have terrible luck to get magic in a family like that.
