The story starts with two men running in the middle of the forest and both have dirty and torn clothes and long hairs.

Man who was running in the black leather is Daniel Merlyn while the man running in green leather is Oliver Queen.

[Daniel] Oliver..... quick.

They both reached on top of the giant rock as Oliver takes out the bow and arrow and shoots on the woods they put near the shore.

BOOM!!

Two fishermen heard the sound of the explosion and figures out that someone might is on the island.

When they reached on the shore they saw two humanoid figures coming towards them.

[Daniel] Finally....we can go home now.

ON THE BOAT...

One of the fishermen gives Daniel a phone to contact their family.

Daniel takes the phone and starts dialling his father's number.

[Malcolm] Who is it?

Daniel takes a deep breath after hearing his father's voice after a long time.

[Daniel] Dad..... It's me, Daniel.

[Malcolm] My son is dead.... from five years...so don't disturb me and if you called again it will not be good for you.

[Daniel] Dad...Dad, it's really me. Me and Oliver..... we both are alive.

[Malcolm] What?

[Daniel] We were on an island in the North China Sea for the last five years... but we survived dad. Two fishermen saved us.... they are taking us to Shanghai.

[Malcolm] Daniel.... is that really you?

Malcolm sits on the stairs he was on when he picks the call as tears start flowing from his eyes. The only decision he ever regretted was he cause the shipwreck which resulted in his son's death. He never would have ordered the shipwreck if he knew that his son is also on board.

[Daniel] Yeah dad.

[Malcolm] I'm coming, my son... I'm coming.

He cuts the call and starts cheering which is seen by his second son Tommy.

[Tommy] What is it, dad?

Malcolm sees his son coming towards him.

[Malcolm] Tommy your brother is alive.. so is Oliver..... they both survived. Daniel is alive.

[Tommy] What?

[Malcolm] Yes.

When Tommy hears the news he gets so happy that he hugs his father in happiness which he didn't form many years.

[Tommy] Oh my god dad.... how this happened?

[Malcolm] He said that they survived the shipwreck and were on an island in the North China Sea for the last five years.

Suddenly they get a call from Moira Queen.

[Malcolm] Yes Moira... it's true... our sons are alive.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!

Oliver Queen and Daniel Merlyn are alive. The Starling City residents found in the North China Sea five days ago .... five years after they were missing and presumed dead following the accident at sea which claimed the queen's gambit.

Oliver Queen is a son of Starling city billionaire Robert Queen who was also on board on the ship but now officially confirmed as deceased while Daniel Merlyn is a son of Malcolm Merlyn another Starling city billionaire.

Daniel POV

He is looking outside the window of his room in the hospital while doctors are talking to Malcolm and Moira about their conditions.

[Doctor] Both have similar conditions.... more than twenty per cent of their bodies are covered with scars. Oliver has twelve while Daniel has fifteen fractures which never properly healed. Oliver has second-degree burns on his back but luckily Daniel has no such kinds of burns.

[Malcolm] Did they said anything?

[Doctor] No sir..... they answered my questions but nothing other than that. I'll give you the advice to both of you. Daniel and Oliver you lost might not be the two they found.

Malcolm opens the door and walks inside as Daniel turns towards his father.

[Daniel] Dad...

[Malcolm] Oh my brave boy.

They return to Starling city not as the boys who were shipwrecked but as the men who will bring justice to those who have poisoned their city.
