4 A SWEET DREAM

A girl wearing a baby pink coloured knee length dress was walking alone on the road like a princess walking slowly in her garden. Both sides of the road were covered with beautiful cherry blossom trees. As the girl was moving forward the trees shed their flowers as if welcoming her for her coronation and the wind blowing away her hair made her look prettier showing her soft cheeks and big beautiful brown eyes. She looked so beautiful like an angel who has just landed from heaven on earth. She hear some sound and slowly turns back to see who called out her name. As she turns she is suddenly in confusion to find no one and before she could turn and move forward suddenly her eyes fell on the ground.

She is pleasantly surprised to find four handsome Korean men bending on their knees to propose her. Each one of them have a heart-warming smile. She looks at each one of them and just like a princess looking at the prince courting her she says Lee Min Ho , Ji Chang-Wook, Kim Hyun-joong and Lee Jong-suk, you all are proposing to me to marry you. The four handsome men nodded in unison. The princess gave the brightest smile when suddenly her expression started to change as if someone is shouting her name on top of his voice PRANAVI! PRANAVI!

And there is a bang as Pranavi falls down from her bed. She looks around her surrounding and started to shout where's Lee Min Ho, where's Ji Chang-Wook and Lee Jong-suk and what about my Kim Hyun-joong. I want to marry all of them. My favourite K-drama stars. Where have they gone.

Soon the realization dawn upon her as she come to her senses only to know that it was a sweet dream. A dream which was impossible to come true. Her eyes saddened when she again hear a sound of her grandmother asking her to come down. She shouts back 'Yes grandma I'm coming.'

Pranavi has always been a bright student.She wants to do her further studies from Excel University, South Korea which is the best university there but this is not the only reason for her visit to korea. She love to watch K-dramas and is a die hard fan of Lee Min Ho. She wants to go to korea so that she could meet her idol, her first love Lee Min Ho.

Today she must tell her grandmother about her scholarship. She knew her grandma's weakness and that was her tears. She went down making a very sad face showing all her melancholy in her eyes. She is really putting up a fabulous act and her actions doesn't go unnoticed by her grandmother. To find apple of her eye to be upset early this morning she asks her in a very concerned voice,' What is wrong with you early in the morning my child. I don't like this face of yours. Where is my happy-go-lucky Pranavi.'

Pranavi knew her plan was working so she started shedding crocodile's tears making her grandma even more tensed. After sobbing for two minutes she continued,'I know all my life I was a burden to you. You gave your best to provide me with everything but.. but.. ' she paused for two minutes only to see what is the reaction of her grandmother and after making sure her plan was working she continued ' but today I am asking for one more favour from you.All my friends in college are going to well known universities for further studies but look here I can't go anywhere. I also want to study further but how to leave you alone here I don't know'

Her grandmother was very innocent. She never allowed her granddaughter to leave the city as she is concerned about her safety but she cannot bear to see her child shed tears like this. She tried to make her understand that it is not possible for her to go out of city but Pranavi was stubborn. Eventually Grandma agreed but on one condition that she won't allow anyone to hurt her and when she was saying this some unknown emotion reflected in her eyes as if she was scared of something. Pranavi noticed this strange emotion but then concluded that it must be her worry for her and decided to ignore it. Finally, Pranavi convinced her grandma to let her go to Korea.

AFTER A WEEK

'Grandma today I'll be leaving for Korea. my flight is at 5 in the evening.'

She packed her stuff and then packed her grandma's stuff along with her. Old lady could not understand why she was packing her belonging as well so she gave Pranavi a strange look. Pranavi understood it and answered,' since I'll be away from you and I can't take you with me so I'll be leaving you with my soul brother Shivay. He is a nice man and will take care of you.' Grandma nodded in agreement. She knew shivay and has seen him grow up. Now he is working as a software engineer in a company in the main city. He was a decent man and just like Pranavi he also didn't have his family that's why he made Pranavi as his rakhi bhen( soul sister) and always treated her like his real younger sister.

At the airport Pranavi bid adieu to her grandma and shivay with eyes welled up with tears. She knew now she won't be able to see her grandma for a long long time but she has to be strong. She asks her grandmother to always take care of herself, gave her some instructions like a strict warden that never to miss meals and always take medicine on time and told her that she would contact her as soon as she reaches Korea. In the end she just said," I will miss you Dadi and I love you." Then the two parted with eyes filled with tears and hearts with pain of separation.
