Ember Phantasmagoria

The story begins with Blaine, Ostara, Emil and Mayra, accompanied by Polina, leaving Elyria in order to revisit the village that was once formerly Blumenthal, with the latter smelling a mysterious smoke coming from the leaf-covered entrance to an hidden elf village and she tells the three the story her grandfather told before her village was set on fire.

According to the story Mayra's grandfather told her, it was said that the elves living in that village were historically against dwarves and orcs because they destroyed their habitat due to their greediness for gold, in which her friends Ostara, Emil and Blaine didn't know about and her great-grandfather used to live in that village before the elves took over.

To prevent the elves from noticing any humans, Mayra put her friend Emil in an elven outfit and dyed his hair blonde, then entered the village anyway. Inside the village entrance, there were two elven guards who didn't recognize him at first, allowing the two to enter the village peacefully.

Compared to , and , this village consisted of beautiful trees, wooden buildings and houses, along with other elven elements and a bridge that connects the main part of the village and the entrance/exit of the village to the forest road that leads to Elyria. While Emil and Mayra were walking to an nearby tavern, they saw female elves still carrying a torch for him only for her to shut them up and they immediately listened to her.

Upon arriving at the tavern, the tavern owner questioned Emil and Mayra about their ages, with him telling him that he was in his early 20s, and Mayra was 7 years younger than him, resulting in the owner kicking her out, leaving him alone. In turn, he wrestled with the orcs and won against some of them, awarded with a prize of a box of wine and secretly left the tavern with it, without knowing that was following him out of nowhere, to the exit of the village.

Emil finally arrived with the box of wine and Blaine wanted to carry it but it was too heavy for him due to his weight, so Silvia and the orc next to her appeared from the village, with the orc asking him to carry the box on his behalf and he agreed to his request. And so on, the six went back to Elyria, where they enter an inn that would soon lead to the poor orc's beheading.

Inside the inn, Silvia poured orange juice on hers and her friends' glass, with them toasting the juice and drinking it while that orc drank wine on his own. Things won't last long with him, and during the following night, Phantasm entered the inn with a bloody cleaver and as the five were all asleep except for him, she killed him with all of her force, leaving his corpse at the middle of the reception desk before secretly leaving the place.

At midnight, Silvia started to scream over her friend's corpse in her bed and within the first few minutes, Emil and Ostara woke up with exhausted faces and came out of their beds to look at the head much to their horrors. The next morning, Blaine and Mayra woke up with migraines, with him and Ostara herself going to their respective genders' restroom to clean the blood off their hands. Upon getting outside of the restrooms, they saw the orc's corpse and Mitsuru was almost dying from the knife that was in the ground, opposite her.

As Ostara clearly knew Mitsuru was in danger, she and Blaine moved the knife far away from her who then ended up in the hospital as the result, with the police officers arriving at the crime scene, with two minus her putting their hands on the air and Ostara herself tried to explain them what happened only to get one of them to reply with "We'll search the culprit."

Phantasm appeared and one of the police officers tried to arrest her but they got stabbed by the knife and Emil tried to stop her from killing them only for her to disappear with the knife, leading to the Floriana Country launching an nationwide manhunt for her. Shortly after she disappeared, he helped Silvia gather her orc friend's corpse as well as putting on his elven disguise Mayra made him wear to accompany her to her village burying his corpse at the graveyard.

While at her village graveyard, Emil and Silvia got surrounded by the angry orcs, whom one of them demanded a revenge against the culprit who murdered their hero by doing the same thing she did to him, directly to her. The latter told them "It's impossible to kill Phantasm. All we know is that she's made from the Synergic Crystal's energy whom she modifies to reflect her reckless behavior and can survive without it, but the only way to defeat her is to disassemble her body whom Yule put a strong glue on to prevent technicians and engineers other than him to fix her and fix her core."

Meanwhile, the private detective Agent Figaro investigated Yule's house and entered his laboratory only to find photos of him and Phantasm being together dating back to 10 years ago and saw him before taking him to an interrogation room in Florian, where a male police officer questioned him about Phantasm and he told them the truth while crying. After telling them the truth about how he gave his cleaver to her, Yule was suspected by the Florian authorities to be an accessory to a murderer.

Soon after he was questioned, Yule got arrested and charged with being an accessory to murder, which led to his family consisting of his father Faro and uncle Neriah, his cousin Blaine along with his former friends Petra, Minghua and Euria cutting all ties with him for good because they didn't want a criminal in their family.

Although Phantasm was a fugitive wanted by the Floriana Country, she was happy that her master was arrested and his family have cut ties with him for good. At the end, Blaine's mother ended up divorcing his half-brother Paco's father because of the abuse she suffered from him, only to have custody of him, and finally got married to his biological father, allowing him to change his surname from his mother's to his father's like his friends for real.
