4 Into the dream again

One choice can make your life go to heaven and can even lead you towards hell. The choice I made that night protected me from cruelty and betrayal of the thing I thought was love. After reaching home that day made me realize how safe and protected I felt in my home. They picked phone to call for cab to get me hospital but I disagreed and begged them to treat me at home. They called aunt Rani, who was our family friend and doctor. I was treated in home in complete secrecy. For several days I was bedridden as I was unable to walk at all. My family took great care of me. I watched them walking around my room, checking me every single minute but didn't even ask me as to why I was in this condition. Even I was silent because of the aftershocks and didn't know how to respond until one day I broke my silence. It was in the noon, I gathered my family and told them all the details of what happened between me and sunny. Everybody came into tears, my mum, my papa, Daisy and Lucky. Mummy hugged me tightly as she sobbed with me. Seeing all of this, my father went out at once. I heard the doors opening, as mummy heard it too, she also got out in a hurry. I stayed with my sisters with hands over throbbing chest worrying about the consequences of my confession. I know where my parents headed to. I prayed whatever happens, but the friendship between sunny's father and my father shouldn't be destroyed.

After a couple of hours later, I heard noise downstairs. There were my parents along with sunny and his parents. My father in broken tone asked uncle to see what their son did to his daughter. Uncle and aunt begged for forgiveness on their knees before me. They said they never knew that what their son was like. They were ashamed of him and he will never be forgiven. I assured them that it was not their mistake but of sunny. They promised me sunny will never be seen by me again, they will send him to some place away from me. We never saw sunny after that and the relationship between both of the family became sour. As for me, it took me 2 months that I finally started walking. However, I was still traumatized and didn't got out of my home for months. I would have nightmares and often wake up screaming and sweating. But the best thing was I felt warm and secure here. My family supported me to my fullest, and encouraged me to concentrate on my career again. That's when I first found Joey as my manager and took Pihu as my personal makeup artists to keep someone close to me and never feel alone. Ever since then, I reached high points in my career and my name and fame only blossomed. Yet I am here, still thinking of what my future will be, losing all aspiration in life. I looked at the clock it was 6 in the morning. As it was no use of sleeping now, so I got up and decided to prepare lunch for hiking. I got into kitchen and started to cook breakfast for my family along with lunch for our hiking.

It was 8 in the morning, I was fully prepared to go hiking. I went downhill and found Joey and Pihu waiting for me. We got into our cars and got all of the food and accessories for hiking. The mountain I chose was only at the distance of half and hour from my home and not well known to the tourist. When I was a child, there were stories of a ghost wandering in this mountain. There were many incidents with local people seeing it, which lead locals to be scared out of their wits and nobody ever coming here. I liked this mountain for years and I have visited here frequently but never found a ghost. I still haven't told Joey about it otherwise he would be freaking out like crazy.

The air that surrounds the mountain is very cool and comforting. As I saw the mountain getting closer to me, I felt my heart beating faster. It was unique feeling that made me excited about this place I still didn't know why? We started out journey late because of Joey's sickness of traveling in these round going roads. He still needs to adjust in here. It was only 15 minutes since we had started hiking that Joey asked for a break. Joey gets out of breath easily. Pihu helped him to get going again. We started again with enthusiasm but Joey collapsed again in 5 minutes. I guess it was too harsh for him.

" Brother joey, get down, sit inside the car and ask driver to leave you home. Pihu and I will continue from here. You better rest at home." I said in concerned yet annoyed tone.

" I'm fine, I'm gonna reach before you people, just watch me" Joey stood up energetically and marched his way up mountain ahead of us. We both followed him laughing at his stupidity.

After 2 hours of marching up, we reached halfway to the destination. We all decided to build our tents and rest for a while and have snacks we packed. The place we chose was a high-low terrain in the mountain covered in green and mist. We settled ourselves in our mats enjoying the delicious snacks. After the snacks, we laid down together under the shade of trees that rustled as the air brushed their way past them. The blue sky and sun playing hide and seek with clouds, you could see the other mountains covered in mist from afar. Everything is so silent and vibrant here. I closed my eyes breathing in the air that was fresh and pleasant and listening to the sound of its habitat around us.

' I'm lying on the ground all by myself. Where is Pihu and Joey? I woke up and started to look for them instantly but they are nowhere to be found. The fog is getting dense around me. I see a blue light coming from top of the mountain. Is that Pihu and Joey? I called out their names as I followed my way up-to the lights. The more I'm approaching the lights, denser the fog gets. Why did they leave me like this alone. If I find them, I'm sure I'll teach them a good lessons. The lights are getting brighter and the fog denser. Strange but familiar scents are invading my nostrils. It's the smell of lilies, but how is it possible to smell them here. As I'm making my way to the lights, the smell is getting stronger. There are willows in front of me, the light sees to be coming from the same direction the smell is coming from. I entered the willows and what I found was both stunning and mind blowing. It's the place I saw in my dreams. Is it a dream too? There are beautiful Lilies everywhere. It was lightened with blue light. There is a cave covered in moss, not to far from me. The blue light seem to be coming from there. There is no way to reach there, the only way I see is past the lilies. I stepped into one of the lily and it glows. I watched the lilies glowing brightly as I step over them. My foot feels so soft against the soft Lily petals. I'm here, inside the cave. The cave is fragrant with all sorts of flowery aromas. I detected the source of blue light. It was a giant ball glowing brightly. As I reached to touch it, the ball scattered into thousands of glowing butterflies moving around. I've never seen anything like them before. I want to show them to my sisters. I should catch one. I followed a glowing butterfly, that had big wings. I'm jumping inside the cave like monkeys, the butterfly seems too smart. Wait until I caaa..... tch you. I tripped and fell over something.This something feels like a...man. It's the same man I saw in my dreams. Oh! He's handsome.Why does he have to be in my dream? His chest feels so...

"Kiki, wake up! It's time we should go home." it's the sound of Pihu.

Pihu????? '

I was startled awake and found Joey and Pihu looking at me in amusement.
