Chapter 201: Five Others

With Elif collapsing unconscious from overuse of his forbidden technique, he and Elaine returned to the palace alongside Miss Lynda as she tended to their wounds; while they were doing that, Maria and Marcus took control of the Treasure realm, which, in fact, turned out to be just a random Heavenly realm void of any intelligent life that Progenitor Lourdes used, seemingly have known a gateway to the Nether dimension would appear.

Which, in turn, caused them to wonder if Progenitor Lourdes had set everything up from the beginning. Though I suppose the only one who knows the question to that would be Progenitor Lourdes herself, along with Aurora and a few very close confidants of his.

Far, far away from the domain of the Elven Empire, the Immortal Demon sect existed in a place with flat ground and only a few mountains that served as their territory, which was smaller than any Immortal Empire yet bigger than any Immortal Clan.

The Demon sect was constructed not too different from Yggdrasil, the Elven Empire's capital; tall walls surrounded the entire sect, along with two walls within it that got progressively smaller. The outer wall, also known as the outer section, was filled with tightly packed buildings and was bustling with a variety of demons as they walked along the streets with a purpose; there were other species, but they were the vast minority.

However, unlike the Yggdrasil, whose citizens peacefully moved through the city with order, the outer section seemed not to understand the word peace as fights broke out every minute, the cause of it usually being just a minor inconvenience. Within the outer section, the only known rule was to obey the words of the Elders who governed the day-to-day arrangements of the outer section. This meant there was no semblance of order whatsoever; fights happening were a daily and common occurrence, and if you wanted to survive and not become a slave or possibly end up dead, you needed to be strong, as the Immortal Demon sect held no pity for the weak.

Deeper within the sect, there was another set of walls, called the inner walls, that separated the outer section from the inner section; unlike the outer disciples, who were nothing but ruthless and chaotic, the inner disciples were valued much more by the sect, meaning fights were against the rules. Of course, they were not entirely against the rules; if one wanted to engage in battle, they would need to head to an arena, though be warned that once two people step into the arena, only one is allowed to leave.

The inner section is significantly smaller than the outer section, though, despite that, the inner disciple's homes were not tightly packed together like bundles of flowers. Leaving the inner section and heading even deeper inside for a second time, we arrive at the core wall, or the core section; this area is also much smaller than the inner section, but it is much nicer and filled with significantly fewer people. As core disciples were seen as the future pillars of the Immortal Demon sect, all forms of killing were prohibited, which is one of the reasons why most core disciples got along with each other as they knew it would be stupid to make an enemy you can't kill; well at least until they've become elders, though that was far into the future.

Now, looking into the sky, one would notice three massive mountains, taller than every other mountain, as they loomed over the sect; atop those mountains were the three most crucial places for the Immortal Demon sect. The smallest mountain among the three consisted of the Sect Master's palace, where the sect master and their direct disciples lived. On the second smallest or largest mountain, The Ancestral mountain, was where those who managed to ascend beyond a True God Emperor and reach the Tribulation realm resided. Last but not least, the Treasury mountain was the lifeblood of the Immortal Demon sect, as it stored all of their most valuable treasures.

Though all three were important, what we cared about right now was the Sect Master's palace, specifically the disciple and son of the Sect Master, Aurora.

"That was fun, but now I'm bored." Muttered Aurora blandly as he sat on a small throne and overlooked several corpses strewn about on the ground, causing a bloody mess, though he didn't seem to mind.

Aurora's appearance hasn't changed much in the past six years; he's grown taller, allowing him to properly display his toned, muscular body, handsome face, and six beautiful, black, feathery wings, which was more than enough to charm nearly any woman alive, the only ones immune to his charms would be those who've already witnessed Elif's heavenly appearance.

"What's the state of the men I sent to infiltrate the Elven Empire's Opening of the Treasure Realm?" Asked Aurora calmly as he looked at a large demon of a man with five horns sprouting from his forehead, wordlessly standing to his right.

"While you were enjoying yourself with the carnage, Young Master Aurora, I had gotten word from the person manning the operation that it was a success, and he'd managed to not only infiltrate into the Treasure realm but also conduct the ritual of summoning the Nether Dimension." Stated the large demon respectfully as he bowed slightly to Aurora, who seemed shocked by what he heard.

"Really? I know I put serious effort into this, but I would've called it a success if he was just allowed access to the Elven Royal grounds, yet to think the operation was a complete success." Remarked Aurora without a thoughtful expression, yet instead of sounding happy, it was quite the opposite if his frown said anything.

"Hmm, no, that can't be right; it's an Immortal Hegemony; there is no way this should've worked as intended. Unless they knew about it the entire time? Which is much more believable, but if that's so, why did they do nothing about it?" Said Aurora with a frown as he thought out loud, confused as to why his operations were a full success, though suddenly, he snapped his eyes open and looked toward his right.

'My intent, why is it trembling so much?' Thought Aurora with a frown as he felt within the depths of his very beings a powerful intent tremble at the awakening of Elif.

Standing up from my throne, I left the room and quickly appeared outside as I floated in the air while wordless looking south, which was the direction where the Elven Empire was.

"No, something's wrong; something's very wrong." Muttered Aurora with an intense frown as he felt an invisible pressure clash with his intent hidden within the depths of his being.

___

Aurora wasn't the only one who noticed such changes; Tiamat, Comet, Lucifer, and Cordelia all felt the changes happening from the Elven Empire as their mysterious intent slumbering within their very being intensely trembled in response.

Within a massive room, slumbering in the center, was a large black dragon with blue markings covering its thick scales, its three horns curved towards the sky, and its large wings covered most of its body. However, suddenly, the slumbering dragon snapped its eyes open as it stood up and looked northeast; it then started walking towards the small door while slowly shrinking down until its previous large dragon body was replaced with that of a beautiful young woman who exuded pride, though currently, her anger seemed to be overshadowing it.

The woman wore a silk blue and black dress with drawings of a giant dragon on her back; her beautiful blue eyes radiated sharpness as she looked towards the Elven Empire while her scaly tail slammed on the ground behind her, displaying how enraged she was.

"That fucking, ELF!" Yelled Tiamat furiously, small flames escaping her mouth as she could vividly sense the clash between her and Elif's intent.

"Seems like that Bitch Lourdes has acquired a powerful helper; this isn't good." Said a deep voice angrily from seemingly nowhere as all of a sudden, Elif's intent vanished, or more like it was forcefully repelled while another intent took its place.

___

___

'Haa, you're being very bold, Lucifer; just because Prince Elif happened to assist you doesn't mean you're safe from trouble.' Said a wise voice as it watched Lucifer calmly walking through the streets of an independent city, helping some people every now and then.

"Maybe, but I've got no intention to hide; how will I ever change the world if I start hiding? No one would ever follow the words of a coward, would they?" Remarked Lucifer softly as he entered a lonely alley before removing his hood, revealing his long white hair and golden eyes.

Just before Master spoke, I suddenly looked towards the east as I felt a powerful intent wash over me that attempted to force me to my knees, yet the hidden intent within me seemed to tremble in response as it surged towards my dao heart and formed a cocoon around it, protecting it while the two intents clashed.

"This intent, Prince Elif?" Muttered Lucifer with a slight frown as he looked toward the Elven Empire.

___

___

"Gel, what do you think about me doing it like this? Do you think I'll be able to survive?" Asked Comet, who was currently in a volcanic fauna; the intense heat caused him to sweat buckets.

"Your chances are very low." Remarked Gel softly as she calmly rested atop his head, feeling rather fine thanks to the system's protection.

Right when I was about to jump across, I suddenly looked toward the sky, sensing a potent and unique intent surrounding me as it tried to force me to kneel, though my own intent intensely trembled before responding back as it fought off the intent.

"I don't know what's happening, but I don't like it." Said Comet with a frown while looking toward the sky.

Staring at the massive fish swimming fright for me, I clutched the hilt of my sword, which was still sheathed, and waited for the fish to approach. Once it was close, it opened its maw and attempted to swallow me whole, but before it could, I swiftly unsheathed my sword, causing the water to ripple violently as I sliced the fish in half with one motion before sheathing it once more.

"Your sword skills have improved once more, Young Mistress Cordelia; I couldn't even see your movements." Said a young mermaid, seemingly wearing a servant's attire, as she happily clapped her hands before swimming toward her.

"I may have improved, but it's not enough; I still have much to learn." Said Cordelia softly with a frown as she shook her head while looking at the fish that was perfectly sliced in half.

Suddenly, I snapped my head west as I felt a powerful intent wash over me that wished to force me to submit, yet before it could even attempt to do such a thing, the mysterious intent hidden within the depth of my very being fought back as it protected my dao heart. This continued for numerous seconds before the intent eventually receded, and although it caused me no harm, it was still a cause for concern, seeing as how I was the only one who seemed to notice it.

"I'm done here; let's return home to the Immortal Ocean Clan." Said Cordelia as she used her webbed hands and feet to maneuver through the water easily.
