18 A Movie Day

November 14, 2027 (Sunday)

Jeong Family Manor

All is calm and quiet. But, not for much longer. In his room, the sleepy eyed JaeSeong checks his phone for anything interesting on social media. When he comes across the day's date, he bolts out of bed and gets dressed. After getting dressed he grabs his speaker, and his laptop. He brings his things out to the living room, and begins to get situated. His phone connects to the speaker, and the speaker, at max volume, begins to play "All the Single Ladies".

"All the single ladies

(All the single ladies)

All the single ladies

(All the single ladies)

All the single ladies

(All the single ladies)

All the single ladies

Now put your hands up"

JaeSeong busts open Sujin's door, bringing his speaker with him. He dances his way into her room, waving his arms and the speaker around like a mad man.

"WAKE UP SUJIN!! WAKE UPPPP!!!! DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT DAY IT IS?"

Sujin groans, rubbing her eyes as she sits up in bed.

"What is it this early----"

"TODAY'S MOVIE DAY!!!!! ALL THE SINGLE SOULS AND COUPLES SHOULD GO OUT TO WATCH A MOVIE!!!!!! SO, BEING THE WONDERFUL BROTHER I AM, I RENTED MOVIES FOR YOU TO WATCH SINCE YOUR THE ONLY PERSON WHO'S STILL SINGLE. COME OUT TO EAT WHEN YOU'RE READY~~~~~~"

JaeSeong heads out the door as Sujin calls after him, "AREN'T YOU FORGETTING THAT YOU AND ONE OF YOUR OLDER BROTHERS IS ALSO SINGLE?????"

JaeSeong pops his head out behind the door frame, "I've dated before, and I'm currently dating right now."

Sujin rolls her eyes, "Who are you dating?"

"My video games," JaeSeong says before running out the door to dodge the pillow that was thrown his way.

"No one dates video games," Sujin says under her breath. "I wonder how long that excuse is gonna last with Mom and Dad. 'Oh, I'm dating video games Mom. You don't have to worry about me since I'm not single.' Yeah right. Like anyone is gonna buy that BS."

[I'll just go get dressed and watch a movie with that stupid brother of mine. Ughhhhh.] Sujin thinks.

After Sujin has emerged from her dwelling, she finds JaeSeong sitting on the couch with an enormous bowl of popcorn. The remote in his hand, JaeSeong waits eagerly to watch a movie with his younger sister.

Sujin walks over a blanket in hand, and picks her spot on the couch.

"What shall we watch sister?" JaeSeong asks.

"Whatever you want to watch," Sujin says.

That . . . was a big mistake.

Next thing she knows, Sujin is crying her eyes out with JaeSeong as they watch a tragedy after soap drama, after melodrama, after tragedy. It was great. Everyone needs to empty out their eyes sometime, right?

Sujin and JaeSeong continue to wipe their eyes, blow their noses, and cry some more. Eventually, Jungwoo brings in some tissues so they can dry their tears. After they depleted the stash of tissues, the two decide that they should choose a different movie that is not a tragedy. But, to their surprise, they picked yet, another tragedy to watch. And, again the two cried, threw their popcorn, blew their noses and cried some more.

After they had decided not to watch any more movies and had finally dried their tears, the other members of the household start to stir.

JaeYoung walks out of his room his glasses sliding down his high nose bridge, and his hair a shriveled mess. JaeYoung looks rather refreshed, his skin glowing and the skin underneath his eyes showing no sign of darkness, unlike his other brother.

Jaehyun walks out of his room probably thinking, "Who am I? Where am I? Do I know this place?"

Jaehyun has been getting less and less sleep and it shows. His eyes have become like raccoon eyes, his dark circles so bad that many can tell with just one glance that he's been up many nights.

Jungwoo walks out, and of course, no one is surprised to see the man dressed in his biohazard suit. Everyone has gotten used to it by now. It's a daily occurance. Not a day goes by without seeing the rather sleepy Jungwoo waddle into the kitchen in his mustard yellow biohazard suit.

Hwayoung struts out in her pink sparkly princess outfit, looking rather energetic. A fairy wand in hand she skips through the living room to join her father at the kitchen table.

Hyunwoo soon follows after Hwayoung carrying one of his toy plane models as he sleepily rubs his eyes. Hyunwoo stumbles into the kitchen his left arm clutching the toy plane tightly.

YoungMi and Sumin coincidentally walk out of their seperate rooms at the same time, performing the same set of motions. The two first run their hand through their hair, stretch, then scratch their stomachs as they make their way towards the kitchen.

In the kitchen, JaeSeong and Sujin are preparing a hearty breakfast for their siblings and the children. The sizzling sounds greet each person as they enter the kitchen. The smells of pancakes, biscuits, fresh fruit, and scrambled eggs drift and give the kitchen a delicious smell.

JaeSeong and Sujin like a pair of Japanese hibachi chefs, plate the food with style. They flip the pans, through stuff into the air, and somehow manage to get the food on the plate in one piece. The beautifully plated food is then served to the rather hungry vultures.

Hyunwoo and Hwayoung shove their food into their mouths causing the food to get all over their clothes. Upon seeing the messy sight, YoungMi and Sujin sigh inwardly.

[Yet another mess to clean up.] YoungMi and Sujin think to themselves.

And the brothers eating, now that was a sight to see. The four brothers like hogs cleared their plates in a matter of seconds. After their plates had been cleared, they then went back to fill their plate again. Then again. Then again. Seeing the four brothers eat would make others think that they actually have three stomachs instead of one. Seriously, their appetites could not be satisfied until after they had eaten five plates full of food.

And, after everyone had eaten breakfast, guess what they decide to do?

They decided to watch a movie. But, it wasn't a tragedy this time, it was a movie with a happy ending. After they had finished yet another movie, the living room was still a disaster. Popcorn was everywhere, tissues still lined the floor, and there was an occasional tortilla chip and a bit of salsa.

The two little ones escaped from the living room before Mrs. and Mr. Jeong entered the living room. The two had just gotten back from their meeting with some of their family friends. Upon seeing the messy living room Mrs. Jeong was horrified.

"YOU WILL CLEAN UP THIS MESS RIGHT NOW," Mrs. Jeong bellows.

Jungwoo was nowhere to be found, so the group all had to pitch in some effort to clean up the messy room.

AN HOUR LATER. . . . . . . . . .

The living room was now sparkling clean, not a trace of food, or dust could be seen. The group was rather proud of their cleaning skills until Jungwoo shows up, but this time in a green biohazard suit. Jungwoo places his hand on one of the side tables next to the couch, and gasps when he sees his hand.

"This room needs to be cleaned again," Jungwoo declares. "It's not clean enough."

And, so, there is yet another scene of Jungwoo cleaning a room. He whips out his handy dandy disinfectant spray, a roll of paper towels and begins to spray the room. And, again, Jungwoo leaves the crowd dying from his disinfectant spray attack.
