7 Misty Oasis Sect

Tobi felt like he was in some kind regards f kung-fu movie as he tried to follow what all the other 'students' in the large arena were doing. He still had no friends in the Sect even though he had been in the sect for more than two weeks. Stories of the way he had turned verse had spread making people fear him since only those at the divinity stage should be able to fully merge with their dao or beast soul (The part of the cultivator's core that is a beast) those at the second and third stage can only summon their beast souls out to fight for them.

The Sect elders had already tried asking Tobi about the divine pearl using different magical techniques ( failures thanks to Andras) only to end up with nothing only Tobi and Andras knew that his transformation was because of the pearl. Others thought he was a freak.

From what the sect teachers had taught him and what he knew, The Misty Oasis sect had always been an enemy to the Black Devil Sect. Created by the Solomon of ancient Israel(who apparently is also an ELLDRAN and a great one at that one of the few ascension experts who left the realm in history), the Sect is sworn to protect earth and keep the millennium seal which separates it from other living planets and life forms in place so as to protect earth from the wars tearing the realm apart. An idea the Black Devil Sect opposes as they believe they should tear the seal apart and force mortals to serve the ELLDRAN through the ravaging wars and idea the divine pearl would turn to reality should the Black Devil Sect ever lay their hands on it and add it to the one divine pearl already in their possession.

Like other ELLDRAN Sects and clans, the Misty Oasis Sect was due video into dao factions according to the beast souls of each individual although their were some very rare dual dao guys who possessed more than on beast soul. These ones usually had to chose their preferred faction. Each faction was headed by an elder. Tobi was yet to be part of any faction in the Sect even though people already knew that he was of the wolf dao. He was yet to be tested by the Sect's dao stone.

The sect had a lot of legal fonts to hide itself (I.e St Solomon) and conduct their activities in the mortal world as well as generate revenue while the Sect itself was located on an uncharted island from whence they operated.

"So you are the demon freak"

Tired and sweating from all the training, Tobi had been sitting on a stone bench when he heard the beautiful but emotionless voice.

He looked up to see a beautiful icy blond girl with long hair standing above him and looking down at him with very cold eyes as though she had a camera against him for something very horrible he had committed.

"Sorry do I know you? "

Tobi couldn't understand why she approached him if she was going to be so cold.

" I am very sure you know me."

And indeed he did. Maria Miles was the daughter of the elder eagle faction of the sect elder Sharon Miles. She was also popular because of her talent(peak body refining stage at thirteen), her mutated dao (Her eagle was white for some reason) and her beauty(she was adjudged the most beautiful teen in the whole sect). The ice queen(a fitting name as she was of the ice affinity) was known for her cold and haughty personality.

"OK I mean what makes the reputable Maria come to me today?"

Tobi smiled embarrassed rephrasing his question.

"I wouldn't be here if I had the chance talk less if honoring you in any way. The elders have tasked me with taking you to the Martial hall to get a cultivation technique in preparation for your soul test next week. "

She rolled her eyes at the way Tobi spoke.

"I already practice my family's ancestral technique so I won't be bothering you just yet."

"Well thank goodness."

Tobi could only watch her back as she walked away her hair flowing behind her. His hand ran through his own white hair which had since lost the black dye since such things were not considered strange by the Sect especially some one who was supposedly of the direct line of Solomon like himself and Maria. Which was One of the things that made Maria dislike him. Her father and Tobi's father had been of the line of Solomon both of them great grand children of the same man but while her own father had died while she was still in the womb, Tobi's parents had both raised him. And now, here he came usurping her place as the only direct line of Solomon in the entire Sect with the addition of being the only son of two dead elders who were powerful and respected when they lived while her own mother was but an ordinary elder popular only because of her beauty.

Tobi aware of these things, shook his head at here disappearing figure staring at her direction long after she was gone before going back to the guest quarters to practice the cultivation technique Andras had taught him.
