The Hunts End

Elias was surprised this forms sudden appearance but could feel a connection between him and it, and he instinctually thought it would follow his orders. Deciding that he would question this later. Elias yelled at the figure, "catch the boy; make sure not to hurt him."

The boy who up to this point was still alert had a sharp pang of fear when he heard the witch speak. The boy had no idea what cruel experiments this witch wanted with him, but he couldn't let himself get captured. Elias was surprised by how fast the former werewolf ran in his heavy engraved armor. Whatever he had summoned seemed to be able to move much faster than the beast clan child. before the child could even struggle he was in its clutches

The ghostly figure crushed ground in the direction of the beast clan boy and managed to catch him before he could run into the trees and hide.

Meanwhile, Klaus looked up and saw a scary figure with pale blue eyes and black engraved armor. Memories appeared in Klaus's mind of things he was never supposed to remember. Pictures flashed in him memories similar to the monster, it was running after him and hunting him until a blonde figure steps in front of him. Klaus's eyes roll into his head, and his mud-covered form collapses onto the ground.

Elias saw whatever he had summoned capture and restrain their prey. Elias stood up and looked around. The area was reasonably undisturbed despite their struggle. Elias ran over to Klaus to make sure his friend was okay and saw that he had passed out. Elias dragged him to the base of a nearby tree and checked him for injuries, and when he found none, he turned his attention to Klaus's attacker.

Elias deciding to get straight to the point, inquired, "what's your name." The boy tilted his away from Elias and was afraid to look him in the eyes.

Elias's platinum eyes tried to find the boy's brown eyes but then decided it would be better to try and talk to his new bodyguard first, "hello."

Elias was uncomfortable and unsure of what he should say to this demonic incarnation of his mortal enemy.

The ghostly figure's expression did not have much change, but its creepy voice spoke, "This vessel greets master."

Elias looked at his engraved zombie, and all he saw was total obedience. His expression of devotion kind of freaked him out, so he decided to end that conversation. Elias tried and failed to wake Klaus up and so decided to take a rest here before continuing. Elias tried to use his aura sense to check his inward situation and found that there was no mana being consumed by his ghostly summon. He did not want Klaus to be even more suspicious of him than he already was and promptly used his slightly enhanced strength to knock out the wolf boy who let out a light grunt before slumping forward. He laid his pray on the ground after making sure he wasn't faking.

Elias looked at his ghostly summon and tried to force him back where he came. Elias first just thought about his summons disappearance before realizing it wasn't working. Elias then realized magic was in use to summon him, so he would probably have to use magic to banish him. Elias willed the ghost to disappear, reinforcing his will with magic causing the former werewolf to disappear without a sound.

Elias sat next to Klaus's unconscious form and tried to contact his ancestor through his necklace, only having to call a few times to receive a response.

Elias's necklace glowed brightly for a few seconds before he heard a soft voice in his head. "What is it, child?"

It seemed that the ancestor was unaware of the turmoil that he experienced. Elias suddenly realized something which should have been obvious before. The Ancestor doesn't watch everything he does; it seemed likely she was only alerted to things that caused him intense fear or could lead to significant harm for him. He asked the ancestor about this and got an affirmative answer.

"Of course, my child, how could I pay attention to your life all the time when I have to constantly focus on not losing my own in the ascended relm."

Elias confused asked in his head, "what is the ascended relm, and how could you lose your life? Aren't you already dead."

His ancestor's soft voice sounded in his head again but was more hesitant this time. "the ascended relm also called the other side is a place for both the unnatural dead and powerful living to wander. Though this is the knowledge, you don't have to know yet."

"but this is not the reason I'm here child what is it that you wanted to ask me."

Elias had almost forgotten about the undead figure he had summoned. "Ancestor, what I wanted to ask about is whether necromancy exists."

This time when the ancestors spoke, he heard a tension he never heard before. "Necromancy does exist, but it is rare. There are two types of necromancers one is bad, and one is neutral. Don't tell me that you encountered a necromancer because that is the case you are in grave danger powerful necromancer can kill villages and used their tortured corpses in an undead army for some time before the corpses completely decay."

Elias felt some confusion but felt that his necromancy was different from what his ancestor described. So what kind of wizardry did I use?

Elias asked, "didn't you say that there was neutral necromancy?"

The ancestor sighed, "unfortunately, the second kind of necromancy is even rarer than the first. If there is the blood of something at least as powerful as an original or a certain supernatural species, then they can summon the bodies of slain foes, but the power those corpses posses will be much weaker than when it was alive. Usually, those summon will wear the very armor that they were killed in and still bear the injuries that killed them."

Elias thought back to his summon and became even more confused. His looked even stronger than when he fought his alive with glowing eyes, and it also carried engraved armor. Just who the hell where his parents.

The elder curious asked again why Elias wanted to know about Necromancers, but he wrote it off as curiosity and ended the communication.

Not long after Klaus woke up, his experience over what had happened became muddled, but after Elias informed him that they had captured their bounty, he almost lept for joy. He was just happy that his father might not kill him today.

Klaus looked at Elias with eyes that glowed with excitement, "Elias is the hunt really over!"

Elias looked at his friend before rolling his eyes and pointing at the were boy's unconscious body, "what does it look like to you Klaus. Now get up we don't have long before the sun rises.

Throwing the wolf boy over his shoulder and restraining his body with telekinesis encase, he woke up. Elias walked with Klaus toward the meeting spot where Klaus's father waited.
