1 Prologue - Just a normal day...

Benjamin Harsec, age 16, left his house to go to high school at precisely 8:49am. "Ah shit, I'm late" he exclaimed to himself, as he ran the 50 meters to his bus stop. Yet as he approached a bicycle ran into him and he fell over, with his textbooks spilling out of his bag. He got up and was about to apologise when he realised that no one was there, "Huh strange" he mumbled under his breath, collecting his books off the floor as the bus came into his stop. He got on, as he would any other day when he thought he heard a ring of a bicycle bell behind him. Ben looked back in shock as a bicycle went past behind him, but nothing strange happened. The rest of the day went smoothly with Ben entering school at 9:30 just as lessons were starting. All just fine until just after he was off the bus the bicycle he saw that morning rammed right into his back sending him into the road "Twice in one day how unlucky" Ben thought as he was hurtling downward but that should have been the end of worrying about the bike as a huge truck was driving toward him. The driver clearly making an effort to brake however it was too late, Ben realised his life was over and felt he hadn't achieved anything and it'd all been a waste. What felt like hours after he began to open his eyes, and saw a white background and what felt like a blanket below him, "Is this heaven?" he thought to himself yet as his eyesight adjusted he saw a snowy plain around him.
