Early morning David was excited as he was on his way to the martial arts dojo with his father. He knew that things were going to get pretty much hectic from today but for David, it was way better than his past life. In this life, until now David has shown himself as cute, innocent, and a boy with a calm demeanor and he preferred to keep it that way in public.

When David and John entered the dojo they saw a few kids exercising but none of them were as young as David. That's when a middle-aged man who looked old due to his white beard but also strong because of his posture and his build looked at them and then entered one of the rooms. Beside him was a young 26-year-old woman with a file in hand who approached John and David.

"Excuse me, sir, my name is Hina Sato. Can I help u with something?"

"I wanted to enroll my son for martial arts training," David said as he put one hand on David's head.

"Sorry sir but he is way too young to start martial arts and this year batch started last month" Hina said with an apologetic tone.

'Let's see if this big sister can resist my cuteness' David thought

"Big sister Hina I may be young but I m strong...Can u give me a chance, pretty please?" David said with puppy eyes.

Hina's heart melted just by listening to him and after seeing those eyes she knew had lost.

"I can take you both to my grandfather who is the head of this dojo, If you can convince him then you can enroll even if you are young" Hina said while leading them both towards the room the old man entered.

'So that old man is the head of this dojo...Hmm, he looked like a tough nut to crack' David thought.

She came in front of the door and was about to knock when a voice came from inside

"Bring them in"

John and David were shocked but Hina was indifferent to it. She opened the door and all three of them entered the room. The inside of the room was very modern as compared to the traditional look of the dojo.

The leader of the dojo Hiroshi Sato was sitting on a chair drinking tea. He signaled John and David to sit on the chairs opposite to him.

"Hello Mr. Hiroshi my name is John Carter and this is my son David Carter. He wanted to learn martial arts and your dojo is one of the oldest and most prestigious dojos in all of Japan" John said

"Mr. John setting aside the fact he is too young for this, the last batch has already started a month ago. Every year I get around 100 applications and we only select the best 20 among them. Many students of our dojo are minimum 7-8 years as hardly anyone gets selected in the first attempt" Hiroshi said while sipping his tea.

David didn't like rejected, although he could try in any other dojo still had the habit of getting what he wants by hook or crook no matter the odds. He may have been born into a sweet and happy family in this life but he hadn't become soft. He glared at Hiroshi with cold eyes for a second which was instantly noticed by Hiroshi and he was a little shocked by it but he didn't react he looked at David and said

" I'll give you a few CDs which are basic martial arts which are expected from everyone before they enroll here and I will give you 1 month. One month later come here again and I will test you but remember you cant use your quirks. If you pass you can learn martial arts here or else try again next year"

He then pulled out two Cd's from his drawer and kept them in front of David

"Thank you for the chance, sir. I will try my best and come here next month" David said with a small smile on his face and bowed down and took the 2 CDs.

"Thank you for giving my son this opportunity," John said while thanking Mr. Hiroshi and then Hina.

The father and son duo left the dojo to go back home.

"Grandpa it's good that you gave that kid a chance but why did you give him the advanced techniques Cd's instead of the basic one?" Hina asked while looking at her grandpa who she knew who never do anything without purpose.

"Because I don't plan on putting him in this year's batch " Hiroshi said with a smirk.

"What!!! Which means you lied to him?" Hina said with an angry face. She didn't like that her grandpa was toying with a kid.

"There isn't just that one way to learn martial arts here" Hiroshi said with a chuckle.

"Except yearly batch the only way is..." Hina stopped talking suddenly and her eyes widened as she looked at her grandpa.

"You plan to take him as a disciple " she shouted and quickly put her hand on her mouth still trying to process that this is real. After a couple of seconds, she composed herself but still kept looking at her grandpa as if asking for an explanation.

"You have rejected even pro heroes who asked you to take them as disciples. Forget that, you even rejected mom dad, and all my siblings saying that we lack something. But now your thinking of taking a kid as a disciple who isn't even 5 years old? Why? You just met him"

"Because he had the one thing no one did" Hiroshi looked in the direction David left.

"And would that be ?" Hina wanted to unfold the mystery his whole family couldn't figure out.

"Watch that kid and you'll know in due time?"

"Fine...But first, I gotta tell this big news to the entire family. I want to see their reactions when I drop this bomb on them" Hina giggled while walking out of the room.

"Big brother I never thought I would meet someone like you again. But look here I found someone a step ahead of you" Hiroshi said while looking out of the window.
