7 Meeting Sato Family

David's home

After both of them came home they told the other members what happened. George and James were excited to see their little brother join such a prestegious dojo at such a young age. Sally was happy but also worried because she didn't want David to over-exert himself while training and she was afraid what will happen if he dosent get selected. She didn't want him to take this too seriously.

After having lunch David ran to his room to see the martial arts recorded on the Cd's. He puts the Cd's in his computer which was his dad's old computer and started watching the clip. After a couple of minutes he started frowning.

'This is by no means any basic practice....This is complicated for even a 7-8 year kid to understand, but when have i David evaded a challenge' David had a smirk on his face and his eyes were full of determination.

David knew that what he was seeing was not something a kid to do but his mind was more than 18 years old so he started following steps as shown in the Cd. Even though this was important he couldn't neglect his quirk training. So for the entire month David got super busy. He still managed to learn water control where he could use water as a rope.

In this month David managed to condense water from thin air and was even able to turn a bowl of water into ice. He tried to increase the temperature of his fire and is somewhat sucessful as he notices the color has turned from orange to red.

David started to strong whule practicing his martial arts and he felt that it even improved his ability to control his elements. So he went to George to check his body with the help of the machine.

"David your body is strengthening way faster than a normal person should. Especially the area of our fingers. It seems like this dojo specializes in bare hand attacks. But the most astonishing change is that the energy in your body is much denser than last tym. It is almost comparable to a full grown person." George said while adjusting his glasses and looking at the green.

"I do feel a lot better control over my elements. Tommorow i will go to that dojo, hope i pass the test" David said while clenching his fists.

"Dont worry you got this. Your already as strong or even ahead of me" James said with a proud smile.

'I have made progress in almost all elements except earth and electromagnetic pulse control. For me more than earth controlling metal has many possibilities. Tommorow after the test no matter what the result be i gotta ask dad about metal control.' David thought while sleeping in his room.

The next day David left with his Dad to go to the dojo. He wasn't the least bit nervous as he was confident in his training and the test wouldn't include his quirks.

When he came near the dojo he noticed that there were a lot more cars as compared to the usual. They went in and saw that there were no students just a couple of people who wore casual clothes. These people were the Sato family members who wanted to see the kid chosen by Hiroshi Sato.

As Hina saw David she came straight towards him. All the other people around her also started looking at David. David and John felt a bit awkward seeing that they were the center of attention all of a sudden.

"Mrs Hina did we come at the wrong tym?" John asked Hina

"No Mr Carter They are my family members who are here to see grandpa personally test someone"

"Is this such a big thing?" John asked in a shocked expression.

"Yes it is....now lets take little David to grandpa, he has been waitin for you" Hina said in an excited tone as she grabbed David's hand and walked towards Hiroshi's room.

At that tym Sato family members greeted John and explained to him how rare it is for Hiroshi to personally take interest in someone.

"Mr John Carter my name is Akira Sato and this is my younger brother Renji Sato. Our father personally testing a kid was shocking news for us so we decided to come here today" Akira said while introducing his younger brother who nodded at John.

"I m really thankful to Mr Hiroshi for giving my son this chance"

"Hahaha... dont worry Mr Carter i m sure he will perform well. Lets go to training ground 1. Thats where the test is being held" Renji said while John to follow them and the rest of the family members also nodded and headed towards to the training ground.

By that time David had already changed into a training outfit given to him by Hina. Hiroshi had already changed into a somewhat similer outfit as David and was already waiting at the training ground.

John and the Sato family members also reached the training ground. John being a researcher had seen many Training grounds but this ground was like a dome which was thrice as big as normal grounds.

"Wow this ground is way too big" John said while looking at the high ceiling.

"This is grandpa's personal training ground. Only those who want to challege him are allowed here. I have seen many pro hereos get defeated here." A 18 year told teenager named Hideki said which a proud tone.

At that tym Hina and David entered the Training ground and David was stunned as he saw the ground.

'Why is such a small test becoming such a big deal. It seems like this old man has some special plans for me' David said while looking at Hiroshi who stood in the middle of the ground with folded hands.

"Come David let me see what you have learnt in the past month" Hiroshi said with a smirk.
