CHAPTER 1 - Super friends

Mike was a teen boy who has extraordinary powers and is going to be a legend someday, he always tells himself that.

Mike puts his old toys in some boxes, he was moving out of his parents house.

Mike saw a picture of his younger self and his older brother, Mike shatters the picture sighing.

He picked up his baby bop and lion king toy and put them in the box, he went into the kitchen to eat cereal.

When Mike was finished he went outside where he met his parents.

Hi honey😀 said his parents.

Hi mom, Hi dad Mike said.

Mike you can go, will take care of the yard sell his dad said.

Make sure you make yourself some friends sweetie his mom said.

I will mom, Mike kissed his parents on the forehead and then flew off.

Mike landed in a nearby park, he heard someone or SOMETHING in some bushes.

Mike saw a small rat running and a flying girl chasing it, he was staring at the girl in awe.

The girl had a pink suit on with a white star on it and she had pink goggles.

The girl captured the rat in a cage and landed next to Mike.

Hi My name is Layla, What's yours?

Mike snapped back to reality and said his name.

Well Mike nice to meet you.

It's nice to meet you to, Why did you trap that rat in a cage?

Because this is not your ordinary rat, This little guy can talk.

Mike watched the rat as he unsuccessfully tried to open the cage with his mini ray gun.

What are you lookin at you bozo?!? The rat said.

Layla: Don't pay him no mind.

Mike: It's alright.

Layla handed Mike a piece of paper with her number on it.

Layla: Call me sometime🤙😘, She kissed Mike's cheek.

Mike put her number and name in his phone.

Mike: Can you get home safe by yourself?

Layla: I don't have a home, I have a lair though and I live there now.

Layla: you wanna come and meet my friends?

Mike: Sure😀.

While Layla and Mike flew through the skies they were chatting.

Mike: When Did you move out of your parents house?

Layla: A couple days ago.

Mike: I just moved out today.

Layla: Did you go to school like normal kids?

Mike: No because when I was younger I couldn't control my powers and I was afraid I might have hurt somebody, so my mom and dad decided to homeschool me.

Layla: That's exactly what happened to me, Do you have brothers or sisters?

Mike: I have one brother but I don't talk about him because he's... wicked.

Layla: That's similar with my ex.

Mike: What's this about having a ex?? Micheal's eyes widened.

Layla: When my ex realized he had superpowers and I didn't tell him about mine he went to the dark side.

Mike: bummer, I'm sorry.

Layla: Its ok 👌 I just moved on.

Mike: My brother was born evil and I don't know why.

Layla: That's so sad 😭.

Mike: that's alright.

Mike saw a giant mansion in the distance.

Layla: There's the lair! Let's go!

Layla and Mike starters to zoom toward the mansion.
