3 The Fight Begins

As I took my place in front of Yvonne, I had a sudden vision of me and all my friends trapped. Shuddering, I shook my head and sent a root towards Yvonne, trying to hurt her. She made a portal at the last possible moment and sent my root towards my face. Ouch, that hurt. I pouted as I rubbed my cheek with one hand while sending a root to her face again.

She smirked and made another portal right in front of Blaise so my root would attack him. "Watch out!" I yelled at him, and he stepped aside just in time. I let out a breath I didn't know I had been holding. I whipped out my and, making two vines slap Yvonne across her face. Before she could react, I sent out another root, causing her to fall face first. During that pause, I glanced around at my friends and tripped their opponents, giving them an advantage.

Yvonne made a portal beneath me, causing me to fall. I grabbed the edge and swung myself out. Just as I landed, Yvonne made another portal, and now, I couldn't do but fall.
