Elemental Brigade

Long ago, lived the godly figures known as "Beasts". These were the Mythical Creatures which were granted extrodinary power by Nebula, the god of all creatures. Each of the Beasts were granted special powers in order to guard the Beast Treasures. Beast treasures were the epitomy of power, each of them containing endless power, known as 'Astral'. Every human, creature, animal, is born with Astral. It is the life force that flows within all. Astral creates miracles, and with each miracle, is born a new element.

Our story takes place in a small village known as Capital City, a city known for its bustling streets and crowded stores.

Here, we zoom in on Ken, a homeless child with seemingly no future...

A young voice pleads.

"Sir.. Please spare me some money.. I am starving.. I beg of you."

A large figure looks at the small frail figure of the child, the child, was Ken.

The large figure stares down at Ken, chuckling at his small and frail figure.

"Hah. Kid you are interesting.. Despite being so weak and frail, you have much Astral to spare.. I will offer you something that will change your life.. However, you must agree to listen to my orders."

Ken stared at the large man, at awe at what the man was telling him. He kept telling himself that his life was pointless, and needed the action that he longed for.

"Yes... Sir, I will do anything that you ask me of."

The large figure chuckled and said with a stern voice,

"Follow me.. I will show you somewhere that will permanantly change your life."

With that, two figures took off, disappearing into a small alleyway.

After awhile, Ken arrived inside of a small room, it was as big as a hotel room, and was as tall as the skyscraper. A door could be seen in a small corner.

The odd building caused Ken to have a headache, it was truly a abomination of a building.

"Kid, this is known as the Beast Mark selection room.. Here, you will be judged by Lord Nebula directly, and you will be assigned a mythical or regular animal, it is where your life will change. Are you sure you want this change to happen? It is irreversible."

Ken stared at the man, considering his options.

'Either I go with him, and change my life, or I keep living as a dirt poor resident of Capital City.'

Ken nodded and stared at the man.

"Yes, I agree-"

The man nodded and grabbed Ken, approaching the only door in the room, and opened it.

"Kid, I wish you good luck. You will only come out after the trials are done."

Ken nodded and proceeded to escape the grip of the man, he was ready.

Ken walked inside of the room.

Several crystals illuminated the room, red, blue, green, yellow, every single color.

Ken stared in awe at the crystals and approached a single turquoise crystal.

As he slowly approached the crystal, a voice resonated in his head.

"Is this, the crystal you want to trial for?"

Ken nodded his head,

"Very well."

Ken approached the crystal and pressed his hand on it, unsure of what he was supposed to do.

"Hmph, interesting. Very, interesting."

Just then, a large suction pulled him in.

He awoke to a dark room with one passage of light down afar.

He walked towards the light, admiring its beautiful glow.

"Child, I am the Mythical Pegasus. What is your name?"

A loud voice erupted in the everlasting darkness..

"My name.. My name is Ken!"

Ken shouted back at the voice that was seemingly coming from the light..

"Very well, you will take my trials now. Prepare yourself. As this will be a rigorous course."
