Lost

Amora walked with a limping Andrew to a nearby forest, now realizing the clear skies.

"Strange how fast it changed. How long had we been out?" Andrew asked.

Amora reached for her phone, but it was gone.

"Hm, no clue. It'd probably been an hour since we'd been out... but where was everyone? There was nobody on the bus." Amora said, still puzzled.

"No clue about that either. Maybe they got flung further away, and are just safe?" He said reassuringly, but it wasn't very reassuring to know they were missing.

They passed by a town sign and Amora recognized it instantly.

"Isn't this the town where Leon and Reyon were when that one tornado swept through, taking people away?"

Andrew stopped to think for a moment before answering.

"I'm pretty sure it is... how strange. I guess lightning can and will strike the same tree twice."

Amora quite liked that answer, but not that she now was lost with Andrew.

***

After walking for quite a while, Andrew is pushed over and Darkness holds him down, about to push a dark sword into his head.

Amora rushes over and bumps into Darkness, causing him to stumble. She stands in front of Andrew, attempting to protect him.

"Amora! Quit this! Let's go home! You are in grave danger! This boy may be part of it!"

Amora did not move out of the way and instead held out her hand unknowingly. Her hand began to heat up and burn.

Fire formed and shot out at Darkness, he was sent flying backward and Amora's hand continued shooting fire around, setting trees and the ground on fire. Andrew pulled Amora down as a branch swung at her.

"The trees-" he stopped to cough from the smoke. "Are falling! We need..." he suddenly went quiet, and when Amora turned, he seemed to have passed out from smoke inhalation.

She attempted to crawl out of the way as a branch fell but was too late and it covered her, bending her neck and causing her to blackout.

This chapter was kinda broken, it got deleted and so putting it here leads to a small chapter, it's fine, however, as this doesn't happen often.
