45 Falling In Love?

Amora awoke to feel someone holding her side. She turned her head and could see Cole was standing there, looking concerned.

"You... were crying... are you alright?" He asked, and for once Amora let out a small laugh before wiping her tears away. "Just a dream I suppose. I can't recall anything about it right now... sorry." She left the room, trying not to be happy.

Being happy meant she'd be weak and easily defeated... she needed to be strong and aggressive...

That proved impossible when Cole went outside with her and they were walking together, he calmly hummed a song and Amora was feeling calmer. She looked at Cole and Cole smiled.

"You know... it's been more than a year since I arrived here. My birthday is coming soon... it's November 12th right?" Amora asked, not really keeping track anymore.

"November 15th actually. When is your birthday?" Cole asked, looking a little nervous, but still looking a bit suspicious. "November 23rd. I was born in 2020."

Cole looked to the grass and sat down under a tree with Amora. It was foggy out, but Cole was thinking. "It's 2037, so you must be 17, about to be 18?"

Amora smiled weakly, "Yeah. Aya and I were going to live in an apartment together."

For once when mentioning someone who was murdered, Amora didn't curse or sound too angry, she was keeping her cool.

"I see. Perhaps you could still buy an apartment. You could be with me in the apartment." Cole said, slightly blushing.

"Why not? It could work out." Amora said, picking some grass.

The wind was calm and the trees whistled in the wind. It was beautiful outside and the fog made it quite mysterious. It was amazing to be outside on a day like this one.

Cole looked at Amora and moved the hair out of her vision, the wind just kept blowing it back.

"I'll go out with you. I know you wanted to ask a while back." Amora said, looking back at the damp grass.

Cole smiled and felt a little guilty for making her think so much about it, but was happy she let him have a chance. They smiled and laughed together and Cole looked up to the sky. He hoped Aya could hear them and hoped she was happy that he was trying his hardest to make Amora happy.

***

Days passed like the wind and Amora was happy as she had been before. She was still talking to herself from time to time, but Cole was able to spend as much time as possible with her. When her birthday came, Leon and Reyon weren't able to be home, so they let her open the gifts they had got her by herself. Cole watched her happily.

Amora was being a bit strange, she was being extra nice to Cole and eventually, they both fell asleep on the couch.

***

Months pass as well, and Amora is panicking, she puts something in the trash and leaves the bathroom.

Amora went into the forest and now it was spring. She enjoyed the smell of the flowers and almost completely forgot about Shogeki. He hadn't shown himself for such a long time, she assumed he either died when she fought him, or he left for other reasons, never to return.

She wanted to hurt him, but his leaving worked for her as well.

"Hey, Amora. How are you feeling?" Cole asked. Amora felt a little nervous, what had happened a couple of months ago was still making her nervous.

"Good, just a little tired..." Amora said, sighing and laying her head on the grass, facing the lake ahead. "Well, what do you want to do today?"

"Shopping I suppose."

"Well, let's get going!" Cole said, pulling Amora off of the ground and pulling her away toward Leon's car, he got in and waited for Amora, to which Cole began to drive to the cities Amora grew used to.

They spend hours in the city, so many hours that it was almost nighttime. Leon and Reyon were at home watching the late-night news together as they ate snacks. They were opposite of Amora, they were constantly thinking of when Shogeki would strike again.

Reyon stretched, invading Leon's space. He lashed around wildly while laughing and Reyon stood up to go use the bathroom, poking the back of Leon's head.

She used the bathroom and washed her hand, she dropped her ring.

"Shoot!" She bends over to pick it up and sees something sticking out of the trash. She reaches and pulls it out and can see a pregnancy test.

"It's... positive?"
