66 [62] "Intensive Training"

Walking towards Jiwoo's house, Inhyuk stopped by the door. He turned to Jiwoo with a sincere expression and said. "Jiwoo, if you need help or face any problems, don't hesitate to let me know. I'll do my best to help you."

"See you later," Inhyuk added as he prepared to leave.

Without wasting any time, Jiwoo stopped Inhyuk before he could walk away and uttered in a trembling voice. "Mr. Inhyuk."

Surprised by the sudden gesture, Inhyuk turned to face Jiwoo. "What's wrong, Jiwoo?" he asked, showing his bewilderment.

"Mr. Inhyuk, Jisuk mentioned that we will fight in the future, and I would like to know when it will happen?" asked Jiwoo sheepishly.

Jiwoo's statement immediately made Inhyuk angry. "Jisuk told you that, how dare you utter such words?" he exclaimed indignantly.

"You don't need to fight. I'll talk to Jisuk to make sure he doesn't cause trouble for you," Inhyuk assured, trying to reassure Jiwoo.

In a timid voice, Jiwoo replied. "I don't want to confront him."

Worried, Inhyuk told him. "Jiwoo, Jisuk has been trained since he was a child. He is not someone easy to beat in a fight."

"Yes, I know, but I don't care.... He told me that Awakened Ones settle things by fighting, and since I have to live a life like them, I should get used to it," Jiwoo expressed with determination.

A wrinkle formed on Inhyuk's forehead upon hearing Jiwoo's words, and he replied seriously. "Jiwoo, you are not obligated to do so. I promise, I'll talk to him and you won't need to fight."

Inhyuk understood very well how difficult and dangerous the life of an Awakened One was, and he didn't want Jiwoo to be dragged into that reality right away.

"I won't let you get hurt," Inhyuk assured.

Inhyuk tried to convince Jiwoo, but he couldn't and in the end agreed to fight and left.

Jiwoo watched as Inhyuk walked away, feeling grateful for his offer of help. With a sigh, he turned around and walked into the house, finding Kayden and the other cats huddled on the floor.

"Mr. Kayden," Jiwoo called.

Kayden opened his eyes and looked at Jiwoo. "You're back. How did it go?" he asked.

"It went well, Mr. Kayden," Jiwoo replied.

Kayden's expression turned serious. "I saw that kid fighting with the Shinhwa guy," said

Jiwoo was surprised. "Did you see him, Mr. Kayden?"

"Yeah, I had a feeling you'd get in trouble, and it looks like I was right," Kayden replied.

"I'm sorry," Jiwoo apologized, lowering his head.

Kayden let out a sigh. "So, you're going to fight him, are you?"

Jiwoo let out a loud, enthusiastic shout. "Yes!"

Kayden approached Jiwoo with a stern look on his face. "Jiwoo, you suck at everything," he said.

Jiwoo was surprised and replied. "What do you mean, Mr. Kayden?"

Kayden shook his head and commented. "Like what do I mean. I mean you were a mess in that fight. But don't worry, we're going to train you to give that arrogant kid a good beating. You're going to make our family name known! WUAHAHAHAHA!"

Kayden laughed like a maniac, his face contorted into a demonic grin that made Jiwoo shudder.

"Mr. Kayden," Jiwoo said in a worried voice.

Kayden stared at him and then got up from the floor, heading towards the basement with slow steps. "Let's not waste any more time, Jiwoo," he said earnestly. "Come with me, and I'll teach you how to fight for real."

[In the Basement]

Kayden looks at Jiwoo and begins to analyze the situation.

'I have to take Jiwoo to the next level in the short time he has before the showdown against Jisuk, although I know the time is minimal, it is enough to completely change Jiwoo.

After being with Jiwoo for a few weeks, I was already training intensively to improve Jiwoo's strength, speed, electricity and mentality.'

....

The first two days of the training were dedicated to improving Jiwoo's strength control circulation. Kayden demonstrated different techniques to strengthen the connection between Jiwoo's mind and body, teaching him to focus his energy on specific areas of his body and control his strength more precisely.

The third through fourth day focused on speed. Kayden built an obstacle course in the basement for Jiwoo to run as fast as possible. As Jiwoo progressed, Jiwoo quickly improved his time and agility on each run and learned to maintain a steady pace even under pressure.

Day five and six were dedicated to electricity. Kayden took Jiwoo to a remote and safe area to practice his control with electricity. Jiwoo learned how to manipulate electricity in different ways and release it in the most precise and controlled manner.

Finally, on the last day he focused on Jiwoo's mindset. Kayden wanted to make sure that Jiwoo could maintain his concentration and emotional control in high-pressure situations. So, Kayden created different combat situations for Jiwoo to put into practice everything he had learned. Jiwoo faced simulated enemies that required a combination of strength, speed and electricity control to defeat them. Through this experience, Jiwoo learned to control his stress and focused on the task at hand.

By the end of the week, Jiwoo had significantly improved in all aspects of his strength, speed, electricity and mental control.

Kayden was proud of Jiwoo's progress and is sure that if he continued to maintain this training he would continue to increase his power day by day.

....

[One week later]

Kayden watched Jiwoo from afar as he headed down the street to feed the stray cats.

It had been a while since they started training together, and Kayden noticed a big difference in Jiwoo since they started.

'His talent is impressive,' Kayden thought as he watched Jiwoo walk with confidence, something he hadn't seen before. 'But what's more impressive is his determination to improve and overcome his limitations.'

Kayden remembered when Jiwoo told him about hiding and concealing his abilities, not having the confidence or courage to use them in public. But now, Jiwoo was eager to learn and improve in all aspects, both physically and mentally.

He decided to approach Jiwoo while he was feeding the cats.

"Jiwoo, you're getting so much better," Kayden said with a smile. "I'm very impressed."

Jiwoo smiled shyly. "Thank you, Kayden. You are a great teacher."

Kayden nodded. "But what really matters is your determination and hard work. I'm very proud of you."

'You are just like me and your brother, we give our all to be stronger' Kayden thinks with a smile on his face.

Jiwoo smiled again, but Kayden knew there was something on his mind. "Is something wrong, Jiwoo?"

"I don't know if I'm improving enough," Jiwoo said uncertainly. "There's still a lot to learn and improve, and I feel like I'm not advancing fast enough."

Kayden smiles a loving smile and says. "Remember that skills don't change overnight. What matters is your progress and your commitment to training and believe me, you are improving a lot."

Jiwoo nodded, knowing Kayden was right. "Thank you, Kayden. I'm going to keep working hard."

Kayden smirked. "That's what I want to hear. Now, why don't we keep training?"

"Yes, Mr. Kayden," Jiwoo said excitedly, as he clenched his fist with determination.

"Don't stop circulating your force control," Kayden said angrily as Jiwoo nodded with determination.

....

[In Shinhwa]

Inhyuk stood with his arms crossed behind his back, looking at Jisuk panting.

"Why do you insist on training a few days before the showdown?" asked Inhyuk.

"This is enough," Jisuk replied between breaths.

"Don't think that your talent is the only one in the world? I've been asking you since you were a child to train," said Inhyuk. "The world is much bigger than just the awakened ones in Korea'.

"Don't worry... I will win," said Jisuk confidently.

"Wasn't your previous fight with Wooin enough?" Inhyuk questioned.

Jisuk's face changed when he answered. "He caught me off guard.... I wasn't familiar with his powers, they're quite unusual."

Inhyuk sighed as he watched Jisuk walk away.

'I hope someone can change his mind', he thought to himself.

....

[In the morning of the next day at Jiyoung's office]

Jiyoung Yoo was immersed in her work, sitting in a leather chair in a magnificent office with a panoramic view of the city.

She was reviewing and signing some documents when suddenly her mind stopped dead in its tracks.

She remembered that today was the day of the confrontation between Jiwoo and Jisuk, and that Inhyuk had gone to fetch Jiwoo to come to the headquarters.

....

[Shinhwa, A few hours later]

Jiwoo, with Kayden in his arms, climbed the stairs and Inhyuk walked beside him.

When they reached the top, Jiwoo's eyes widened in awe at the impressive facilities of the building. Meanwhile, Kayden's gaze focused in a particular direction. 'That aura must be coming from Jiyoung Yoo. Looks like the rumors weren't false,' he muttered to himself.

"This is where our president is," Inhyuk said, pointing towards the office before knocking on the door. "President, I have brought Jiwoo."

A kind and polite female voice invited them in. "Please come in."

Inhyuk stepped forward and opened the door, allowing Jiwoo to enter. When Jiwoo entered, he was surprised to see a young woman sitting in a chair. Her beauty left him momentarily speechless.

Jiwoo found himself looking at the young woman in awe and Inhyuk noticed his reaction, he asked. "Is something wrong, Jiwoo?".

Jiwoo asked in disbelief. "Is she the president?".

Inhyuk confirmed. "Yes, she is, why are you surprised?".

Jiwoo replied innocently. "I thought the president would be an older person... not someone young like me."

Inhyuk lets out a smile as Jiyoung Yoo stands up from his chair and approaches them.

With a cold voice and emotionless face, he introduces himself. "Nice to meet you, I'm Jiyoung Yoo, president of Shinhwa."

Jiwoo, still somewhat embarrassed by his earlier reaction, timidly introduces himself. "I'm Jiwoo Seo."

Jiyoung fixes her gaze on Jiwoo with an impassive expression and asks directly. "Do you really want to fight Jisuk?".

Jiwoo replies without hesitation. "Yes, I want to."

Jiyoung makes sure Jiwoo is aware of the risk involved in his decision. "Jisuk is someone who has trained from a very young age and has a great deal of combat experience. He will be very strong for someone who is just discovering his awakening."

Jiwoo calmly replies. "I know, Miss Jiyoung.

But he adds with determination. "But I have to prove to myself that I'm not the coward I was before. Even if I lose or win, the result doesn't matter. The important thing is that I try." His voice sounds deep and his self-confidence is palpable.

Inhyuk and Jiyoung are surprised and the latter nods seriously and says. "Well, there's nothing we can do to change your decision."
