54 52: Sibling's Spar (II)

Subin replied with a smirk, "Of course not. Besides, the fight's only getting started. It would be very disappointing that was able to take you down, Oppa."

"It's my turn to be on the offensive. Get ready~." Shinji informed her, his face grinning from ear to ear.

Subin conjured dozens of ice shards, while water formed underneath Shinji's feet. As she launched the shards at him, the grinning teen slid across the room using the water.

"I thought I told you that 'I'm' on the offensive?" he asked, sliding fastly towards her.

His sister quickly formed an Ice Shield, but with a smirk, he conjured an enormous hammer made of water, with steam following it.

Shinji made a pushing action with his hand, and the hammer was cast at the shield. It produced a burst of steam as it made contact with the construct, melting through it, and swallowing the girl.

Muffled screams could be heard as the warm water devoured Subin. Seeing her struggle in the water, the young man quickly turned the hammer into a bubble, but he made it so that his sister could talk and breathe.

"I won again, sis~," Shinji said in a playful manner.

"Of course you did." she spat.

He sighed and smiled, "But, you really did give me a challenge."

As he freed her from the water bubble, she griped, "I still couldn't beat you! Even when you restricted yourself from using your Cryo!"

Shinji patted her wet head, and replied, "Of course, you couldn't. No one can beat your older brother. If someone could, I wouldn't be called the Strongest Rookie, now, would I?"

"Tch, cut it out!" she shouted, swatting away his hand.

He placed a hand on her shoulder, telling her in a serious voice, "I may have beaten you, however, if it was someone else I fought today, even with just my Hydrokinesis, I'd have destroyed them much earlier. Honestly, you're the only one who could give me a run for my money. If it was Jisuk or that pretty boy Wooin, I wouldn't have even asked them for a fight, since it wouldn't be worth it."

"Obviously! They're fucking weaklings!" she exclaimed, a smile slowly forming.

"Now, now. Like, I said, you shouldn't curse so early in the morning. Plus, I'm supposed to be the egomaniac out of the two of us, so stop that. Anyway, go get changed into dry clothes, and let's get something to eat." he said, leaving the frozen room.

A few hours later...

After they ate, Shinji drove Subin to the Union's building.

"Well, good luck on asking Jiyoung Yoo on a date, Oppa," she said, stepping out of the car.

"I don't need it, but you do. So, good luck on asking Wooin out on a date~," he said with a taunting tone.

He didn't get a verbal response from her, only a stuck-up middle finger, which just made him smile.

Seeing Subin go into the building, he starts making his way to Shinhwa's building. After several minutes of driving, he finally arrived.

Greeting everybody he passed, the teen goes to the Chairwoman's Office. Stepping into the office, he could see Jiyoung absentmindedly staring outside her windows, seemingly deep in thought. Shinji smiled as the sun shone on her face, highlighting her gorgeousness.

He knocked on the door as he closes it, gaining her attention.

"Hey, Jiyoung. What's on your mind? You worried or something?" he asked.

She shakes her head, replying, "No, it's nothing. What brings you here, Shinji?"

"I just wanted to thank you for what you did the other day."

"About the Force Control?" she questioned, to which he replied, "Yes."

She followed with, "Am I allowed to ask what it's about, now?"

He sat on the free chair, thought about it for a moment, and considering she showed him her own Force Control, he didn't see why he shouldn't tell her about his. What was she even going to do with the information, anyway?

"Inspiration~." he answered dramatically, but he quickly continued, now with a serious tone, "But, in all seriousness, I made my own Force Control."

She blinked, her face, instead of being expressionless, showed surprise.

"'Made'? You succeeded?"

"Yeah, actually. I still need to modify some things about it, but yes," he responded.

"That's..."

Jiyoung was actually speechless. She knew he was extremely talented, with him learning Spacial Isolation in such a small time frame. But, she certainly didn't expect something like this. Even though it only took her a few months to create hers, it would take years for most.

But then again, there could always be the possibility that he's lying-

"Do you wanna see it?" Shinji cut off her thoughts.

Once she nodded, he started grinning and summoned a water sphere.

"I can still control water, but never as efficiently as when I use the Force Control," he commented as the water started swirling around on his palm.

The whirlpool formed into a small dagger, slowly changing into other small weapons.

"Pretty cool, right?"

Jiyoung couldn't help but smile as the water formed into a rose, and she replied, "Yes. That's really impressive, Shinji."

Note:

Thank you all for the support! I'm all better now, and I'm back! But... I have some news...

As some of you know, I have an MHA Fanfic, and I have been neglecting it for a month now.

Starting today, there won't be a daily update for this Fanfic. I'm putting most of my focus on MHA: New Start.

(BTW: If you folks have any suggestions about a better name for MHA: New Start, I am open!)

That's all I wanted to say!

I'll let you folks know if there has been a change in my plans. Thank you!
