33 The Elixir of Death

"AHAHA! I'm sorry guys, but in this case.. first come first served! It was your fault to drop a precious elixir accidentally. I'm the one who grabbed it, so it was mine. If i didn't catch it in time, the elixir would've been wasted!"

But everyone was not convinced by him. Suddenly, a huge brawl appeared out of nowhere. They was competing for the potion of harming that George has thrown to them.

It literally turned into a battle royale, but they didn't kill each other, just knocked them out.

But, unfortunately the guards that was fighting for the potion of harming seems to have a lower cultivation state than the one who attacked Su Ling and the others. The majority of the guards were from the first realm. The strongest one in here is probably in the third realm, Foundation Establishment stage.

"Sigh... it'd be better if they killed each other!" thought George.

But, if they think about it, surely that there will be one or two people who take grudge over this incident.

The guy who had a good reflex, that caught the potion from falling was the one who got pummeled down the most by the others, but he didn't stop struggling.

Fearing that they will stole his elixir, he drunk the potion of harming completely. He then laughed crazilly.

"HAHAHA! I just drunk the elixir! You can't do much about it anymore!"

"Y... you! How despicable. I'll remember this!" All of them was angry at him, but he ignored them arrogantly.

He quietly sat down in a lotus position to absorb the medicinal properties of the elixir, or so he thought..

Soon, the potion of harming worked, and he groaned in pain.

"Ahh! I wanted to see what'd happen if i throw it out! But, i guess if he drink it, it'd be good to be observed too!" Whispered George.

Blergh!

He vomited a lot of blood. The blood came out not only from his mouth, but from all of his orifices. He continued to groan loudly, and all of the guards who was competing for the potion earlier was smiling in schadenferuede.

"HAHAHA! As one of my favorite proverb said, GREED will cause pain!" He emphasized the word "greed" to make him spurt more blood.

George's face twitched when he heard that. "These guys really like to see one of them in pain.."

Su Ling replied by whispering to him. "Of course! he is very greedy. It would be weird if they suddenly helped him after he treated them like that!" She was really angry at that greedy man.

George sighed. "Well.. let's throw one more splash potion of harming to a guy who was knocked out! I'd like to see how it works if i throw it!"

He throwed the potion of harming to a guard that was knocked down by the others. All of them didn't realize it was happening, as they were still laughing at the first victim of the potion of harming.

SPLASH!

Even though the sound of the glass breaking was loud, all of them ignored it. "It was probably some guy who knocked on a flower vase or something like that." they thought as they continued to laugh with schadenferuede.

George nodded in excitement. "The guards are really dumb! Ahaha! Let's see now! What will happen to him.."

The guy who was being used as his guinea pig suddenly groaned in pain. Some of the guards was confused and saw what's happening.

The part of his body that have any contact with the potion of harming slowly melting. It was similar to a very strong acid that reacts to human body upon contact.

The man was lucky that the only body part that was contacted with the potion is his hand. If it touched his face, it'd be a bad thing.

George was shocked when he saw that. "This is a dangerous potion! The price should be raised!"

Su Ling was shocked by what she just seen. "Th.. this is a dangerous elixir! It should be a good item to have for self defence!"

The unfortunate person awoke in pain. Because of the pain, he swore a lot. All of the surrounding guards helped him, not laughing like the first victim.

Su Ling suddenly whispered "Let's go in now! It was already chaotic and the distraction is going to be effective for a half an hour!"

George nodded in agreement. "I think you should be the one who going inside the room! If we all go in, who was going to make another distraction while you are going outside?"

Su Ling didn't think of that, so she agreed. "Thank you!"

"Ur Welcome! Oh! And this! Don't forget to use this potion again! It'd be disastrous if your naked body suddenly appeared out of nowhere!"

She laughed awkwardly and take the potion of invisibility. And she then went inside the room without being seen nor detected.

"Wh.. what's happening to my hand? ARGH!"

One of the guards replied. "We don't know.. we were laughing at Kong Meng. He was such a greedy person who wanted the potion for himself. In the end it was actually a poison!"

"ARGH! Then what's happening to me? Why are my right hand is melting?" He was in cold sweat. It hurts so bad.

"Look! What is this? The very same elixir's bottle that Kong Meng have drunk?! But, it was broken..." It was the broken potion bottle nearby. They looked at each other in shock. "I.. it means that his hand only touched the elixir and it melted just like that?"

"Hiss... This poison is really potent! I'm glad that we didn't get a chance to drink it! Kong Ming's inside must be completely melted by it!" All of them thanked Kong Ming. If he didn't do that, one of them probably will be dead!

"Th.. this is.. The elixir of death!" Exclaimed a young guard.

All of them looked at the guy who said that in shock. "What's an elixir of death? I never heard about it!"

He replied. "I don't know much about it, but i have heard that a few years ago, there's someone who made a sacrifice to a god of death. Because of that, he was given an elixir that could melt everyone just by it's touch!"

All of them looked at the broken potion bottle in shock. If they didn't see the state of Kong Ming and at their unfortunate comrade who touched the elixir, they would not believe it.
