Elder Blood Witcher

Most people who die and are confronted with a godlike being like to take the easy route... Not this guy. I have been sitting on this concept for a while and want to see if I can write it, starting with the Witcher then the game Absolver and then onto Darksouls 1. Don't rely on there being consistent updates because its unlikely... Trial of the various potions...

Reima had quickly retreated when he got word that a few people weren't happy with him for breaking every bone in Leah's body... He could just excuse himself with the fact that Diablo was in control at the time, but they'd not believe someone as powerful as him would so easily be forced to do that.

So, to escape getting ungracefully reprimanded he decided to retreat and absorb the various demon souls he'd gathered. There were various things he could do with them, like creating weaponry, armour, or artifacts out of their souls, but he felt it would probably be better just to absorb them.

The reason for this was the fact that any artifact made from their souls would likely be able to influence people, kind of like a pseudo-horcrux. While they didn't retain any sentience, they weren't the embodiment of sin for nothing, he imagined that if he gave a regular person a ring made from Diablo's soul they'd instantly break down into a blubbering mess, that, or they'd become the most "Feared" person on the continent.

Each soul was roughly the strength of Orsteins, but when put all together they almost reached the power of a Lord Soul. In the past this would mean him gaining another kind of power to control, but this time around was different. The attribute of all the souls were "Sin", something that didn't really confer any specific power, instead just enhancing negative emotions and personality traits.

Reima didn't know if by absorbing the soul you'd gain the abilities of say, Diablo, or if you needed to be inclined towards a certain sin to gain its abilities beforehand... You couldn't very well be the Lord of Terror if you yourself was a coward.

He wouldn't immediately absorb them either, he didn't want to break his mind like what had been done to Leah, so instead he just "Digested" the souls via Humanity, until their influence was weak enough to where he'd confidently be able to defend against them.

The power boost he gained afterwards was... Negligible. During these 10 years he'd done quite a lot, exploring the multi-verse and gaining strength from various places. He might even be a match for Gaunter O'Dimm without the Elder Blood now, though, if they were still alive he'd not dare test it.

A couple days later :

It'd taken many hours to finally break through to Quennie and find out what was wrong, Reima was actually surprised to see that she possessed an inferiority complex towards Selina. He'd previously never looked into her mind with Leglilimency, and only did so after her mental health didn't get better after the incident.

Ciri had checked her out beforehand but it seemed that Quennie had locked away her complex deep within her mind, making it impossible for all but the most well-versed mind-arts users to access them. It'd been a little disconcerting to see how his own rules had inadvertently caused such a thing, but with some time spent within her mind conversing with her and projecting reassuring feelings, she eventually came out of her shell.

Not that everything was all sunshine and daisies immediately afterwards though, he'd had both Quennie and Selina try and get closer with one another than they had beforehand. Selina had taken especially hard when she heard what'd affected Quennie so much. All was looking bright now though, with Ciri and Quelaag's support their family was slowly returning to how it'd been in the past, comfortable and loving towards one another.

A few days after the incident, Reima found himself standing within the churches medical wing again, he wasn't alone though. Mathias, Barnock, Tyrael, Selina, Quennie, and everyone else who'd been trying to cure Leah was present.

They were all watching Leah's demonic body with rapt attention, Quelina had just administered a potion that'd been made to softed the body to changes. This resembled the Trial of the Grasses in how the theory worked, but it'd not cause any pain due to Leah's strange physiology. Diablo's body wasn't attuned to Chaos like how Quelina's had, which prevented them from using that avenue, but it didn't act like how a humans would, allowing them to use what some would consider "harsh" methods.

Essentially, they were just turning her blood to acid in order to weaken the atomic bonds throughout her body. If this was done to a regular human, they'd be reduced to a mass of meaty sludge with the only thing remaining solid being some of their bones.

Mathias looked to be glaring a hole through Leah as the menacing-looking horns covering her before to dull, their previous sharpness lost as they became soft and brittle. The scales began loosing their structure and made a strange water-logged sound when Quelina rapt her knuckles on them.

After a while Quelina grabbed the end of a horn and twisted her hand, breaking it off with relative ease and nodding to herself.

Mathias "Was there a need for that?" he questions, wondering if Leah had felt that.

Quelina "There was, it was to see if the structure had changed enough for the next phase to begin... Usually these horns would be nearly indestructible, almost similar to titanate in-fact. With me, a woman with slightly above average strength being able to break them, it meant that their structure had fundamentally changed." she explains as Luna waves her wand over Leah while casting a few high-powered diagnostic spells to see her condition. She relayed what she'd found to the rest of the group operating on Leah, Rickert and Alphys moved in and started taking samples before leaving it to Quelina again.

Another potion was given, this one almost immediately causing Leah to start having seizures, though, the seizures were weak due to her bodies structure being compromised. The titanate chains used to restrain held fast.

A few people looked distressed at this but were told to stay put as any intervention may bring disastrous consequences. Reima glanced at his daughters to see if they wanted to leave or not, they didn't... It seemed that violent and bloody combat had sucked out any squeamish feeling they'd previously had.

Hope you guys enjoy the chap, if I missed anything please let me know.
