29 Chapter 28- Some Unknown Amount of Time Later

After some time, the world was at peace once more. Something was said at one time that Lizzy, the Captain of the Sins, the Cat Sin of Love, was now in the demon realm. There was no proof but people whispered rumors nonetheless. As the other seven Sins traveled the continent, keeping everyone safe, what the commoners whispered happened. They said she was bartering with the Demon King when in actually, it was the other way around. The King had invited her to his Realm and bartered for her fealty.

"So...." The rumbling voice said. "What'll it be? Death here or more power?"

"What about neither?" The giggly voice asked in response.

"Neither? Hahaha! You are quite the amusing creature! What are you anyway?"

"Does that truly matter?"

"No, I suppose it doesn't." He chuckles. "Now pick one." His eyes hardened. "Death or increased power?"

"I already told you. Neither."

"Then death it is!" In a flash the smaller female was floating right by his ear.

"Are you sure about that?" The demonic being heard the scraping noise of blades leaving their sheaths. "Well, I suppose there will be death. Just... Not mine!" She giggled, the last sound the Demon King ever heard.

The throne shrank and Lizzy sat in it peacefully, setting the also shrunk crown atop her head. A portal appeared in front of her and the Sins say a scary sight. Lizzy lounged on the bloody throne of the Demon King, wearing his crown, and splattered with blood. She casually cleaned her dagger and smiled.

The smile scared each of the Sins because of the blood making it seem a tad bit macabre. "Lizzy-San?"

"Yes Elizabeth?"

"What's wrong?"

"Whatever do you mean? Nothing's wrong."

"You're covered in blood."

"I suppose I am. None of it's my own of course."

"Yeah. Of course." She looked a bit sick.

"So.... What's up Captain?" Meliodas asked walking into the portal. "How ya been? Is dad treating you well?"

"Well, he's dead. So I suppose that means he treating me well." Meliodas laughed. "But all in all, I'd say I've been good."

"Oh? How so?"

"I mean, I was threatened but I made short work of him. So I'm fine."

"You look nice with that crown. Better than he ever did, that's for sure."

"Why thank you." Lizzy got up and gave Meliodas a small bow. "I'm very glad."

"Where you heading next?"

"Hmm.... I'm not sure just ye- Ah. Found where I'm going next."

"Huh?"

"Over there." She points at another portal that revealed a blinding white light. "It appears I've been summoned. Goodbye." Lizzy smiled and, straitening her crown, stepped through.

"Welcome." The peaceful, echoing voice spoke. "I heard his screams of anguish from where I stood."

"Good for you missy. Are you giving up your rulership? I'd love to lead even more beings."

"Ah. No." The Supreme Deity chuckled softly. "I just wish to speak."

"You have somewhere for me to bathe? As 'honorable' as the blood of the demon's former ruler seems to them, it's very messy."

"I do. Sariel? Please guide the new Demon Queen to the washrooms."

"Yes ma'am." He nods and leads Lizzy there.
