Demyan 

"Do you think we should tell Ethan we're going?" I asked as we walked alongside the river with towels, dressed in shorts, flip flops and straw hats. 

"He won't care. Dad got a new tractor that Ethan has been dying to see so we won't see him for a few hours," Luca smiled. 

"Plus Pa got a new horse as well. Ethan is practically in heaven," Stewart chuckled and shook his head. 

It had been a good week spending time with Ethan's side of the family and today was our final day before we headed to his house forty minutes away. Therefore we decided that whilst Ethan had some quality parent time, that we would head to the dam that had a waterfall and relax for a few hours. 

When we got there we set up our picnic and dived into the cool water. Dad always spoke of coming here before I was born with Uncle Damien and I understood why he loved it so much. It always felt like you were entering another world.
