13 The Galeforce

In order to trigger the Galeforce, Ashley had to utilize Fairy Energy in order to cause his legs and feet to vibrate at a specific frequency and speed. It was similar to the concept of a certain classical superhero who could 'phase' through solid objects by vibrating his entire body at a certain frequency so the molecules that composed his body could literally slip through the gaps in the molecular structure of a certain solid.

Galeforce allowed Ashley not only to increase his internal speed but also to allow him to whip up powerful winds with his legs depending on his strategic needs. Let alone the audience, Noriaki was visibly shocked when he noticed Ashley deliberately intensifying the flames around him. It was disrupting his mental control of the heat and he was soon unable to properly keep the flames in check.

Large explosions beyond what could be contained in the small space blew out, causing some of the faculty to protect the students from harm by creating ether barriers to reduce the explosive impact. Ashley himself quickly broke out of the chain of explosions and swung his fist out, smacking Noriaki right in the face. Noriaki took the blow straight on because he was too stunned by the mystifying sight that he didn't bother to block or evade the blow, causing him to stumble back a significant amount.

When he processed what had just happened, he quickly regained his composure and his rage simmered down into a furious calm. It was the kind of calm that a serial killer might have when he was preparing to hunt his next victim. Noriaki was truly enraged now. Some of the teachers were growing rather worried that this conflict could escalate. Unfortunately, it had already gotten to the stage where the both of them were willing to inflict grievous injuries on one another.

Ashley was sick and tired of the young man before him bullying him constantly while the other party was infuriated and humiliated that this ant could display such shocking ability with ether. The students watching didn't get what was happening anymore, but that didn't mean the faculty attending didn't. They were well aware that Ashley could only reach that type of speed and create winds that ferocious with the help of ether.

Noriaki could only bear the pain he received from Ashley's fist as he wiped blood trailing down the side of his lips. His left cheek was slightly swollen from Ashley's surprising display of force but aside from that he didn't seem too badly injured - he instead grew even more enraged as the heat around him subconsciously went up a notch. Ashley's eyes glimmered as he once again resumed the <Qilin Step>, using the wind and speed gained from Galeforce in order to outmaneuver and outpace Noriaki.

Noriaki howled in anger as his entire body began to exude a fiery aura, clashing against the howling wind coming from Ashley's legs. The audience was now enamored, and the more eagle-eyed among the faculty began to bring up a heated discussion as the two students attempted to furiously and violently exchange blows.

"[Son]..." one of the teachers muttered the Japanese reading for the 'xun' character that appeared on Ashley's forehead earlier. It represented the south-east and the Chinese representation of this particular trigram was the wind.

"That's right, it seems like Ashley has finally evolved somehow?" another teacher commented.

"We don't know the extent of his power, on the other hand, being able to combat Noriaki to this extent, causing him to become enraged... Isn't this too exaggerated for someone who had just stepped into Ether Nourishment?"

In the meantime, the combat was getting more and more exciting. The wind fed the flames and caused Noriaki's rhythm to constantly get disrupted, and it was getting clear that Ashley was able to turn the situation around.

"Furthermore, Ashley was very quick on his feet, realizing that he could mess up Noriaki's battle tempo by forcing the fire to worsen, thereby forcing him either to step away so he doesn't get burned by his own flames or be forced to roll with it and potentially cause a disaster."

The battle was getting closer and closer to a climax as Ashley's Fairy Energy continued to energize his attacks despite his body becoming increasingly unable to cope. Noriaki was unsightly too, he was realizing that he could no longer overpower Ashley with his usual tactics.

He settled to stake it all on the next blow. On the other hand, Ashley saw the determined and uncharacteristically calm look on Noriaki's face. Ashley had a tacit understanding of what was to come next. He saw Noriaki begin to concentrate the heat around his right fist. It soon ignited into a glorious, resplendent blaze of flame. In a split second, he charged forth towards Ashley.

Ashley fearlessly charged forth at an unprecedented speed, attempting to take his attack head-on and test the limits of his new body, tempered by <Goddess Weaving Technique>. He guided his Fairy Energy towards his own right fist, and attempted to clash...
