6 Five Phase Manual - Goddess Weaving Technique

Heather, Ken and Ashley all left the living room and went to a guest room in the house. Actually, the guest room had already been converted into a makeshift laboratory. As excavators, they were actually also scientists in their youth. Thus, they also had a lot of equipment relating to the testing and study of ether. Basic testing equipment to determine one's ether potential and current status in terms of evolution were also present. With this, Ken and Heather were confident that they could identify Ashley's current status.

Laying him down on the medical bed, Ken and Heather began to hook him up to a moderately large sized contraption of some sort. It looked like a computing or analytical machine. The way the cables were placed onto him made him feel like he was taking part in a strange experiment, but he was also very curious about how much the ether he absorbed would have transformed his body. Unfortunately, he possessed the Fairy Energy, which was mystical beyond belief and couldn't be quantified by normal means.

The machine was configured and it started to let loose soft mechanical humming. It was analyzing Ashley's brain waves as well as the ether his body was circulating. It could sense the ether being absorbed by his skin as well as the ether being converted into Fairy Energy in real time. Since the machine was not a specialized one, it couldn't deal with this unforeseen circumstance and it began to display garbage text and data. Heather and Ken were both shocked. Ashley had already been put under for the test to work, so he was unaware of everything that was going on.

While he was unconscious, Nemea's voice began to ring in his mind. "Your parents appear to be using a primitive model to attempt to test your current level! Unfortunately, the Fairy Energy you produce can't be measured by this type of machine. Ether Resonance is too mysterious still for mankind to comprehend. Let me put it to you like this - the machine could identify that you were at the pinnacle of the first level, however it would be unable to calculate your future potential!" Ashley was unconscious so he was hearing Nemea's voice in a dreamlike state.

"That is simply because your potential is impossible to mathematically calculate. The power granted to you by the Concept of Five Phases has unlimited potential. It is impossible to depict infinity plus one in writing! You people are forced to represent it in an abstract manner. Infinity plus one. However, for you to attain this, you must build a powerful foundation. The beginning of your journey as the Yellow Empress starts within!" Nemea explained.

"The basics of the Concept of Five Phases can be encapsulated in a manual I once wrote - the Five Phase Manual. In your tongue, it can be considered a special ether cultivation manual specifically tailored for the powers granted by the Edict of the Yellow Emperor!" Ashley, being unconscious, couldn't react, though his mind was taking in this information.

"The Five Phase Manual lays down the foundations for your future growth. As the name suggests, it is broken down into five sections representing the life cycle of the Five Phases. You begin at the phase of early childhood, the Jupiter Verses! The Jupiter Verses will serve as your core foundation. It will teach you how to walk along the road to geomancy. It represents the element of wood, the contradicting emotions of anger and kindness... Most importantly, it teaches you the body tempering method of using Fairy Energy to further improve your fleshly form. It will inspire curiosity in you to explore the world further and break through the shackles of close-mindedness. I will now impart to you the details of the Jupiter Verses of the Five Phase Manual..."

Nemea's voice continued to ring out, the information flowing into Ashley's own consciousness as he was still being studied by his parents. Heather and Ken on the outside were unable to make sense of the garbage data. However, the only thing they could observe was that the machine had definitely stated that Ashley's current evolutionary state was at the terminal level of Ether Nourishment, just about to reach the pinnacle!

Reaching this stage after only just awakening his ether power was unheard of in contemporary times. However, they noticed that Ashley was still asleep, so they gave up on the test and let him rest, which allowed Nemea to continue to impart the details of the Jupiter Verses into his mind. The so-called body tempering technique stored in the Jupiter Verses was known as the <Goddess Weaving Technique>, named after one of the Jade Emperor's precious daughters.

It was said that this daughter, responsible for weaving colourful clouds in the heavens, would descend to Earth once every day in her magical robe in order to bathe. However, it was stolen by a shepherd who fell in love with her. Unable to return to the Heavens, the Goddess Weaver ended up falling back in love with the shepherd and lived life together for some time. Feeling homesick, she was able to find her stolen robe and returned home to visit.

The Jade Emperor then had created the Milky Way to prevent her from returning to Earth. However, feeling pity for splitting the two apart, had allowed them to meet each other along the Milky Way on every seventh day of the seventh month. It was a love story that was reinterpreted in many languages. The basis of this Goddess Weaving Technique was the precisely the capability of the fairy daughter of the Jade Emperor to weave heavenly clouds.

By cultivating this technique, Ashley would end up giving his body a form of heavenly fleshly strength, weaving the Fairy Energy in his body into a molecular substance that would allow it to evolve further. Not to mention, the Fairy Energy would also cause Ashley's appearance to mature into more of a heavenly fairy than an effeminate man.

The technique entailed Ashley having to learn how to internally control his Fairy Energy at a molecular level, which was incredibly difficult. Very few people had the capability to do so, and among them, only those with Terra Powers and thus have the experience to manipulate at a molecular level could accomplish this with less trouble. Fortunately, Ashley had Nemea's consciousness to guide him.

Nemea continuously emphasized the idea of curiosity, and expressing both anger and kindness to one's own body in order to temper it properly. Only through treating oneself ruthlessly and then providing adequate after-care could one truly enhance their body and take it to the next level. The technique continued to reverberate within Ashley's mind before the data transmission finished, causing him to wake up.

When he woke up, his parents were gone and all the testing data had already been put away. He had a bit of a headache since he woke up, due to the huge amount of data now in his mind.

"<Goddess Weaving Technique>... Nemea already has such a wealth of ether techniques. They're comprehensive too," Ashley muttered to himself. His parents were gone and he wasn't sure whether it was a good idea to talk about that with them. Looking at the door, he resolved to keep this matter a secret. It would be very dangerous for anyone to know about the knowledge given to him by the Five Phase Manual... Even for his parents.

"It is definitely my good fortune to have the ether cultivation techniques from the Five Phase Manual. I have to work hard to improve my strength quickly. I will spend the rest of spring vacation to temper myself and cultivate the <Goddess Weaving Technique>!"

As he resolved to accomplish his short-term goal, he heard a rumbling sound. It was his stomach. It was already close to dinner time. He had been asleep for the rest of the afternoon, and no doubt Yuri was back home. His parents must have been excited to share the news to her.

"Better get some grub!" he sighed in embarrassment.
