Weak little shit!

The slime stayed in its position, its eyes scanning the class. Not finding anyone, it closed its eyes. For some reason, Edward remembered the slime that was jumping up the stairs, which stopped when he entered the stairway.

"Everyone, stop moving!" Edward shouted, going still. After putting two and two together, he concluded that slimes must use seismic sense. They don't have eyes, noses, or ears, so those were out of the question, and the only time they reacted when he was hunting them was when he got close to them, meaning there was a range to their senses.

Hearing his command, everyone swallowed up their terror and immediately stopped moving. They remembered he had also commanded them to get down before the slime attacked, so they knew it was best to follow his instruction.

But the girl whose friend's legs fell beside her was too shaken and tried to crawl away. Just then, the slime bounced, shooting up to the ceiling. As it was coming down, it shot a beam of water, aimed directly at the girl.

She looked at her incoming death, and all she do was chuckle. The water beam tore through her, destroying the ground below her and entering the classroom below. Those unsuspecting students were not ready for the water beam, causing 4 of them to die.

Dropping to the ground, the slime waited once more. Seeing what happened to the girl, their adrenalin caused them to stop. Some others tried to discreetly crawl away, but they all met the same fate as the girl. They were lucky their mind had chosen to freeze out of the fight, flight, or freeze response.

After a while of not sensing anything, the Hydro slime bounced back the way it came.

*Squelch* *Squelch*

It moved down the hall, then a loud boom echoed. It had entered the next class. Hearing this, everyone got to their feet, hyperventilating. One boy leaned over and vomited his breakfast, while a girl started speaking in tongues. Edward himself stood up, dusting himself.

"Smith!" A loud voice came, drawing his attention.

Walking towards him was a 23 years old caucasian male. He is some centimeters taller than Edward, having a heavily built body. Unlike Edward's balance build, he built for strength. He has short blond hair, a sharp jawline, and sharp blue eyes. He wore a gray polo shirt that outlined his muscular torso, especially his pecks, the school jacket, black jeans pants, and matching black sneakers.

Edward immediately recognized this man as Andrew Evans. Andrew was Junior, one year ahead of Edward. He was in varsity football, planning to get into the NFL.

"What the fuck was that!" Andrew shouted, walking up the aisle since Edward was at the back of the class.

"What do you mean?" Edward asked, confused at why he was being shouted at.

"You knew what was going on! You knew what that thing would do!" Andrew shouted once more, his voice silencing the class. He stopped some feet away from Edward, and even though they weren't much different in height, you could see the build difference. "So tell me, Smith. What the fuck do you know!?"

Edward's mind went into overdrive, trying to find an excuse. He couldn't just say he stopped time and explored the school. That would paint him in a bad way, which would not be good in the current predicament.

"We saw it in a game." Leonard chimed in, drawing everyone's attention to him. "Last night, we were playing Elden Ring in a race to see who would beat it. After dying many times to Melania, we left the game and played another game. It wasn't popular and came out 17 years. This is how the game began."

"You expect us to believe that?" Andrew asked, folding his arm.

"What else do you expect?" Edward asked, glaring at Leonard. "That I 'magically' created this?"

"No?" Andrew responded, not believing himself.

"We saw this scenario in a fucking game. If you don't believe it, then deal with it." Edward shouted, feigning anger. He wasn't angry at Andrew for suspecting, but anger always gets things done.

"Well, I believe you." A girl's voice suddenly came, drawing everyone's attention. She is a petite young girl, standing only about 5'3". Her hair was black, styled into twin braids that reached just below her shoulder, and brown eyes. She wears round glasses and a dress shirt tucked into a long pencil skirt that almost reached her ankles. With everyone's eyes drawn at her, she immediately started fidgeting, mumbling, "I read something similar in a manhwa."

"What the fuck is a manhwa?" Andrew asked, staring at the girl. "Wait, who are you?"

"I---"

Before the girl could introduce herself, someone ran past the study hall, four short green humanoids chasing him with their bat up in the air. One of the humanoids stopped at the massive hole caused by the Hydro slime, noticing them.

"Kikiki." It laughed, resting its bat on his shoulder as it walked into the study hall. It was ugly and stood about 4 feet tall, its skin green with a pointy nose and ear. It only wore a tattered skirt.

"Is that a goblin?" Someone amongst them asked.

"Well, it looks like one." A boy responded, smiling. "It is one of the weakest amongst all fantasy. This will be easy." His word seems to put everyone at ease as the goblin approached them with a cocky grin.

"Don't get cocky. Look at what the 'weakest slime' did to this room." Emma said, gesturing at the blood soaked study hall with dead bodies.

Her words put everyone on guard, including Edward. Who knew what the goblin could do. That small thing might be as strong as superman for all they know.

Sensing their fear, the goblin got even cockier, hitting his club in every chair it walked past like a scary movie.

"Fuck this!" Andrew roared, dashing to the goblin with a rage-filled face.

The goblin, noticing his charge, was surprised but put it off as the human's last struggle to survive. Despite his build, Andrew was surprisingly fast, quickly reaching the goblin.

As the goblin raised his club above his head, Andrew quickly grabbed it with one hand before kneeing it right on its face. Because of the height difference, his knee cleanly connected with it, sending it stumbling back.

Before the goblin could recover from its daze, Andrew pulled the club out of the goblin's hand, holding it and smashing it like he was hitting a baseball. The club smashed the goblins skull, causing it to fall to the ground dead.

"Fuck yes!" Andrew roared in supremacy, stomping on the goblin's head. "Weak little shit!"

"Just like I said, weak." The boy folded his arm, scowling at Emma.

More than thirty goblins suddenly rushed into the big hole made by the slime, speeding at them while screaming.
