For some unknown reason, the developers of the game had made the serpent tail and the three heads of the Hellhound separated entities. That was to say, to kill this beast, they had to kill it four times in succession; each head and the serpent tail.

However, as Ain always said, "In this game, there is always a way to win. Finding it, that is my job."

And he had wholeheartedly proving by himself, time and time again, to be right. In the world of Eclipse, there was no undefeatable monster; there were ones that were dangerously challenging, but no undefeatable monster.

So much so that Ain had proclaimed, "In the right circumstances, a level 1 player can defeat a level 15 monster. In fact, I did just that when I first began."

Now, Shelt Chrown didn't buy it fully....but she had an inkling feeling...that he might have done just that. Ain had never been one to boast or lie for that matter.

Immediately after she found contact with the ground, she ran in a full sprint with her blade readied against the tied down serpent's tail.

The Hellhound was already beginning to rise from its back and she had to reach its side before it fully did.

"<Flash of Death>!" Her blade pointed forwards as a red hue appeared at its tip.

Her body blurred as so did the surroundings as an unknown force propelled her forwards with greater speed.

This skill of her's, which was usually used to kill an enemy directly in front of her, was now used simply as a means of faster travel.

She appeared a meter or so from the chained serpent and immediately swung her blade once more.

"<Encore>!"

Her hands flashed in a flurry of attacks as a combo began to rise with every strike she made.

This was the special trait of this short passive skill of ten seconds, every attack made in succession increased damage by 5%. And with a legendary blade at hand, she was bound to make use of it.

The health of the tailed and wailing serpent started to decrease in a rapid increment. However, a loud roar reached her ears, and she could see the beast hurrying to stand back on its four feet. Evidently, she had to hurry.

She forcefully canceled her attack at the cost of 5% of her total health and jumped backward.

Just in time, azure flames burned against the area she had just stood.

"Aurora, your turn." She heard a voice echo into her ears thanks to the party chat already set to receive all messages.

At that moment, a figure descended in front of her as her feet crashed against the earth. The sword in her hand immediately raised upwards before collapsing back downwards.

"<Severing Strike>!"

A light beam crashed down with the blade.

The special property of the skillfully shined as the flames before her split into two parts.

As its name suggested, <Severing Strike> severed. Not bodies or the like, but skills and spells. And as Ain had found out, after dying countless times to the beast, the flames of the beast had been categorized as a spell and were made of mana.

She could feel the rush of heat as she stood behind the golden-haired figure.

"<Poison Resist> <Fire Resist>." A calm voice echoed out as Felz felt a presence behind her.

A light descended onto her body and Aurora who stood in front. She could immediately see two icons appear below her health bar at her top left.

"Go, you have exactly 30 seconds to cut off its tail or the plan will crumble, after all my magic <Skill Reset> can only be used once within an hour."

Drawing a set of three daggers to his hands, Allen, or better named Ain within the game, spoke out "We will agro the three heads at our side, interrupting its attacks when giving the time, that will be your chance, Felz."

Shelt Chrown, or more aptly called Felz within the game, nodded and immediately chose to turn towards the rear of the beast.

Thirty seconds, for a high-speed damage dealing class like herself, was more than enough time to get its health within half, maybe even below it.

She grinned.

She enjoyed games, till this day, she had wholeheartedly delved into countless of such that she could get her hands on. When she heard that the first virtual reality game was in store to release, she had immediately gone and bought the virtual reality helmet and the game itself. She had initially played for the simple fun of it, the simple fun of moving an in-game avatar to strike down beasts and players alike. However, along the way, she had unknowingly grown stronger than the rest and found no one that could even come close to going with her and adventuring the rest of the game.

Until she met Ain and Aurora that is. At that time, the two were already having their names spread and had been a party for close to a full two months. They had climbed dungeons and struggled through full ten men dungeons by their lonesome selves and came out with the highest rankings in both levels and equipment.

So when she met them, fought against them, and lost. She joined [Eden].

"<Demonification>." She used the special trait of her class, Demon Slayer.

Appearing by the back of the beast, the reddened horns on her head glowed as the right horn turned a shade of gold. Her blackened hair began its descent into a pure white and her right eye glimmered into a golden hue.

Smiling, Shelt Chrown swung her blade.

In response to giving her health, she began to deal massive damage all at once with every strike of her blade.

To the defenseless serpent tail that whimpered against the grassed ground, this was quite humiliating.
