An inspector's contest.

Knock…..knock…..knock.

At 9:12 pm, after the party was over, the main door had an unexpected three knocks on Eliza's house. This time, Dad opened it along with the mother.

"Yes?" he asked. He was greeted by two gentlemen. They were wearing neat suits with gloves and top hats. One wore a suit in white the other was in a dark blue suit.

"Greetings young man," bowed the man in a white suit by taking off his hat as he introduced himself, "I am an inspector and this is my subordinate. Pleasant to meet you."'

"Good evening" Both men shook hands, "How may I help you?"

"We are looking for people in white outfits. Probably with white reliant hairs too. Have you got any glimpse of them around?"

The father got lost in his thoughts when a terror shocked the lady beside him. She shut her lips choosing to remain silent.

This went in the notice of the blue suit man. He learned her status but, didn't interrupt. However, he warned himself inwards, "This one knows very well."

"Sir" spoke the father, gaining their attention, "I am afraid but I haven't caught any glimpse of anyone with that figure. Sorry for not guiding you to any clues."

"No, worries" smiled the white suit man when immediately the next one added,

"Well, there could be one or maybe two of them?" This perplexed fellow realized that his friend was trying to open a longer conversation.

"We...don't have much time…" he whispered to him when the man in the blue suit replied,

"Watch and wait..."

To his fellow's surprise, this man was determined about something as his eyes were fixed on the two people. No, not just them but one, he was dragging it out with his simple words.

Before the father could answer again, the mother interrupted, "Were there three men?"

"Yes" nodded the blue suit man directly as he won his way making the person speak. He didn't have the slightest idea of the number of people yet, what he analyzed was the right answer from the woman as he caught her in his cage.

"Do you know something?" asked her husband intensely.

At first, she hesitated when the man calmed her saying that perhaps her information might be of some clues for the two officers, she couldn't resist the words in her throat. She begins,

"Yes, I think I know. Three young men came to this house at the door early this evening. They were dressed in white. They asked me about Eden and ...and then…" She fell into tears that prevented her from speaking.

"WHAT?!" exclaimed her husband in stunned when the inspector inserted between them,

"Please we do not wish for an argument to begin. Just answer us did they have white hair?"

"Yes, white hairs but young hues." Cried the lady replying.

"And then where is the boy?" was their last question when the lady fell on her hands yelling that she had no idea.

She cried informing them that the boy Eden wasn't her real son due to which she simply trashed him away. She burst into tears and ran inside.

The father couldn't believe what had happened. He was confused by all this.

On the other hand, the inspector gazed at his friend who answered, "She is truthful. We are late."

"I am sorry." bowed the man in apologise, "I never thought my wife could commit such a disaster."

"That's alright. Hope she will be fine. Everyone is mistaken sometimes. We all need to learn how to get through it." answered the inspector when the blue-suit man asked,

"One question sir, is that boy called by any other name besides Eden? Perhaps Eden Locker?"

"No, sir" shook the man his head.

The suited man nodded and then concluded, "There is no need to get worried. Everything is fine. We will find out everything and clarify it."

"I hope." smiled the man getting relieved by his words.

"In the meantime," the blue man added, "Prepare your daughter. The train will soon arrive on your street. Broad her on it and her new school life shall begin."

"Thank you so much" bowed the man.

"I wish her good luck. She will grow up as an outstanding student" wished the man for the Vampire these greetings and he left the door with his hat covering his eyes.

The inspector was puzzled by this however, he thanked the man advising him to take care of his family. The two men shook hands and he left.

Under the white street light, the blue suit man stood in depressed as he notified himself inwards, "That is the one….. he is named Eden locker Yes, there is no one in this world with a name similar to him and what has happened to him is MY fault! I will fix it yet, in my way….."

Just as he stood there lost in the world, the inspector caught up running, "Sir, you are too fast!"

"What's wrong, sir? You should have used your void to catch up. You are known as the Principal of Voids, right?"

"Not, as intelligent as you are Principal of knowledge."
