Eclipse:Blooming of the Eternal Flower

Running endlessly through the forest, she finally shake them off, she was catching for here breath when she heard the soldiers shout "Find her!, she's near, I can smell the beast's blood!" then, the galloping and neighs of the horses can be heard few meters behind her.

She once again started running for her life. When she knew she was out of danger, under the moon's light she was looking for a place to hide, then she saw an Old Temple and upon seeing it was abandoned she deliberately walk towards the Temple and climb onto the staircase at the base of the Old Temple, mid way she stumbled and almost fell over but then, she recovered her balance and held tightly on her blood-covered sword she then continued to climb up, when she neared the entrance she look back to the forest and saw light, burning torches held each by the soldiers hunting her down, the soldiers were still currently looking for the traces of the the last Huli jing[1], they were looking for her.

As she look intently, a cold breeze swept across her whole body, making her shiver, she then entered the Old Temple.

Upon on entering, broken furnitures can already be seen and a metallic smell lingered In. That made her jump to a conclusion of what might've happen at the place, but then on, she discarded the fact that she might be inside of a crime scene.

What's more important is that she needed a place to hide. She wandered inside and when she reached the middle of the room she whispered to the wind, and then all the windows and doors that were open suddenly closed and made a loud "BANG!" sound.

She then dropped on her knees and held onto her sword gathering her strength, she slowly stands up and was still holding onto her sword. as she was still weak on her knees, she then made her sword as a cane and walked over the place, as she near a huge pillar her body drop, and knowing that she can no longer stand, she sat up and pressed her back to the huge pillar and then she tore a piece of cloth on her kimono and used it to cover her wound on her shoulder which was cut by strong force of a sword earlier on, the wound wasn't very deep nor small, but enough to lose much blood to.

She was breathing slow, she can feel the coldness from the floor and the huge pillar, she felt her body being weighed down making her powerless, and her eyes were already drowsy. But she kept herself from sleeping, knowing that once she closes her eyes she would enter a deep slumber and never wake up.

And then footsteps were heard making her fully awake but still, couldn't move a finger, her vision was becoming more blurred by the darkness in her eyes. When a silhouette of a man suddenly appeared in front of her, she attempted to stand and fight off the man standing in front of her but then, failed. She miserably fell but she was caught by a strong grip, the warmth coming from the man's grip made the coldness of her body disappear like a bubble.

Her body was hanging like a thread from the man's arms, she then looked up and saw a blurred image of a man's face. And as she tried to see clearer, darkness already consumed her faint of vision.

Seeing the woman in his arm lose consciousness he then storm out of the Old Temple, carrying the woman in a bridal style his thoughts flew to the sky then, when he reached the exit, he stood outside and saw the face of the woman he was holding, being shone by the moon's light. It added the woman's face a more mesmerizing look.

Mesmerized by the beauty in his arms , a faint smile crept on his stone-liked face. His thoughts were running wild and could only think on how to make the woman "His". He then was pulled back from his reverie, when he felt a sticky feel on his hands and seeing it was blood coming out of the woman's shoulder, he felt an unusual feeling lingering to his very soul.

And without further ado he rode onto his Night carriage, a carriage that can sore through the sky at night. It flew like an arrow, and reaching it's destination in a short period of time, he then got off and took the woman inside an Old Fortress.

Servants came rushing in front of him and after showing their respect, they were taken aback when they saw a wounded woman being held by their master and an expression on their master's face that was unknown, they didn't know whether they were dreaming, seeing their master unusual behavior they were shocked.

Then one of the servants yelled "Someone get Elder Cong An Yu!". Only then the servants came back from their daydream, some of the servants were looking for Elder Cong and the others came over to their master's aid, they offer their hands to their master but was shot by a deadly look making them root in place.

Once he was finished throwing his servants daggers, he then walk towards one of the servants and ask "Where is An yu?". The female servant was so scared she opened her mouth yet nothing came out, then a deep and scary voice was once heard and said "I'll ask again. Where. Is. An. Yu?." she was taken aback and tried to answer and stuttered "E-elder C-c-ong i-s at th-e e-east w-w-ing-g, M-m-ma-ste-r.".

And without looking back he ran towards the east wing and entered the room where Cong An Yu can only be seen.

He opened the door with a kick and the door opened with a loud " BANG! " sound. Cong An Yu who was busy studying the herbal plants he harvested, jumped out of suprise and saw a wounded woman being held by his master.

He switched his looks to his master and back to the woman again and after a few times over, he then look seriously to his master's and ask "What may I be of use, Master". And if he read his master's expression he immediately said "Understood. I shall take the wom-." He then received a look only his master gives to someone who's planning to steal what's "His".

He sighed and spoke "Master, If you are uncomfortable you can lay her there.", he pointed a bed at the corner of the room. His master look at him with disgust and said "do you intend to make use of that disgusting bed?.", An Yu's brows shot up and then understood what his master meant, "forgive my words Master ,and end my miser-", "Stop your nonsense and follow me to my chamber." he was cut short by his master's words and quickly nodded and then only saw his master's figure leaving.

He took out his doctor's tool and followed behind his master, his master was striding along the hallway and some of the servants were following them , and others were only at standby. When they reached his master's chamber he then voluntarily open the two wide doors and wait for his master to enter then he closed the door, leaving the servants who were following them earlier outside the chamber.

He was startled when he heard a familiar voice "Do what you have to do." An Yu nodded as his answer and proceeded to the king-sized bed, and then started to do what he came for, a few moments later he once heard his master's voice "After you are done look for me at my study." when An Yu heard his master's worried voice he look at him, who's now heading to his study to wait until he finish. When his master near the exit he said one last sentence "An Yu, I don't accept failure.". Then the sound of the door closing gently was lastly heard before his master's chamber fell into a deafening silence.
