Final Showdown pt:1

The rogues stood up from the ground, awaiting their leader's next order. The rogue leader thought loudly in his mind, "He broke my strongest spell without even trying."

The rogue leader was shocked by just a glimpse of the masked man's strength. The masked man darted toward the rogue group with extreme speed; his movement was so fast that the rogues could not spot him. Before the rogue leader could react, the masked man delivered an air-piercing punch. The rogue leader closed his eyes in fear, hearing the loud impact of the masked man's punch, but nothing happened to him.

"Wakey, wakey!" The rogue leader heard the masked man's voice. He opened his eyes to see the masked man looking at him, while the rogue who was standing next to him had fallen to the ground.

The rogue leader stood frozen in shock as he saw his fallen comrade, but the remaining rogues charged toward the masked man. The masked man slapped one of the charging rogues to the ground, making the rogue bounce on the ground. The sheer force stunned the remaining charging rogues, making them take a few steps back in fear, while the rogue leader remained frozen solid in fear.

Despite their fear, the rogues charged again. The masked man stood still, waiting for them to get closer. As one of the rogues got close enough, the masked man delivered a deadly throat strike to the rogue, causing him to fall to the ground.

However, the masked man didn't allow the rogue to fall completely; he used his leg to stop the falling rogue, keeping the rogue's head on his foot. "Is that all you got?" The masked man's voice mocked the rogues.

Seeing the disrespect shown to their comrade, the rogues, filled with fury, charged again at the masked man. However, the masked man effortlessly hoisted the rogue whose head was lying on his leg into the air. He delivered a deadly spine breaker to the rogue, and the sound of bone cracking echoed through the village, halting the charging rogues.

The masked man single-handedly threw the rogue onto the rogue leader, snapping the leader back to his senses. "Stay here; I'll deal with you later," the masked man spoke.

The masked man slowly began to advance toward the remaining rogues. He walked toward them, and the rogues started taking a few steps back. However, before they could fully react, the masked man used his incredible speed. He closed the gap between him and the rogues so fast that they thought he was teleporting.

With swiftness, the masked man tightly held the hand of one rogue, before the rogue could even realize his hand was in the grip of the masked man.

The masked man's grip tightened, and the sound of bone cracking emerged from the rogue's hand. "Ahhhhhh!" The rogue cried out loud, his voice sending shivers down the spines of onlookers.

The masked man utilized the rogue's own hand to knock him out. The remaining rogues started running from the masked man, but their escape was blocked by Eiera's barrier. As they turned around, they saw the masked man slowly approaching. One rogue made a desperate attempt to run through Eiera's barrier. As he entered, he felt uneasiness in his body, and in just moments, he turned into dust, spreading into the air.

Seeing the power of Eiera's barrier, the rogues took a few steps back from the barrier, finding themselves trapped between the masked man and the barrier. Seeing this opportunity, the rogue leader made a run for himself into the village houses.

The masked man smirked. "Leaving already? I haven't even started."

Meanwhile, Rin had healed Hiroshi, who was now back to his senses. "What happened? Where are the rogues?" Hiroshi asked.

"Don't worry, my brother is dealing with them," Rin replied with a gentle smile. Hiroshi stood up and saw a few rogues on the ground while the others were cornered by the masked man.

"Sit down. You have done enough," Eiera spoke to Hiroshi while maintaining both of her barriers with her powers. Hiroshi listened to Eiera and took a seat.
