5 Chapter Four: The Egg Hatches!

Main Character Pov~

I was currently barbecuing some meat for breakfast; I had slept like a baby yesterday. Seems like my journey up the higher regions of the mountain had really wiped me out considering how exhausted I was. It's crazy how huge this whole place is, honestly the Himalayas have nothing on this mountain range.

As I chuckled, I realized that the meat was already cooked and was slowly burning judging by the smoke.

" Oh shit!" I yelled as I hurriedly went to grab the meat before it got burned, Thankfully, it wasn't burned, but it was somewhat singed.

You gotta do what you gotta do to survive, I opened my jaws wide and began chumping on the meat.

" Man, I wish I had something good to drink right about now. But beggars can't be choosers I guess, have to make do with water for now." I shrugged as I continued eating.

After a few more minutes I gasped and drank some water as I finished eating and was currently cleaning everything up.

' I almost choked there.' I thought wearily as I was cleaning.

I began my day by some small exercises and stretching to help the food go down, nothing like a good old warm up. session.

I honestly still feel a bit tired today, I think I will take a break and lay down for the day.

Goku during the cell saga once said ' Sometimes, too much training isn't good for your body.', Which sounds reasonable to me. There is no point on continuous training without giving your body the rest it deserves.

I have been grinding my ass off a lot during my first month in this world, and I honestly felt like I deserved a good break for once.

And so, I had spent the rest of the day using my Pokedex to scan all the wild Pokemon nearby, to get as much information as possible, I had scanned many Pokemon during my exploration.

As for why I am scanning random Pokemon with my Pokedex? it seemed like a fun idea, so I rolled with it. I had scanned a lot of random wild Pokemon, even I was surprised by how much I had seen, there were some Caterpies, Pidgeys, Geodude's, Zubat's, Ekan's, Noctowl's, Pidove's, Sentrets, Deerling's, Rattata's, Weedles, Ledyba's, Mankey's, Nincada's, Starly's, Bidoof's, Budew's, Wurmple's and even a Nuzleaf!

So many Pokemon had wandered into the Onix and Steelix territory it seems, a lot of them seemed cautious and weary though, their eyes look as if they had seen a lot of chaos around these parts. They all immediately widened their eyes on shock after seeing me as they noticed my presence and had immediately fled after seeing me.

Which was weird considering that all of them could easily kill me, it was as if though they were afraid of something.

' Did they know something that I didn't know?"

None of them were particularly strong according to what I had gathered, which makes sense. Considering what happened to that Ursaring a while back. Most Powerful Pokemon would respectfully stay out another Powerful Pokémon's territory. However, every once in a while, there would be a few young and arrogant Pokemon are seen going to claimed territories without knowing the kind of danger they are putting themselves in.

'Weird, I still haven't seen a Steelix yet, what is even weirder is that I have not yet seen an Onix all day, this is their territory after all.' I thought as I went towards the cave which was quite far.

' Another weird thing is that all the Wild Pokemon that were usually spotted atleast a couple miles near the cave apparently fled, they all seem to be keeping their distance now. What the heck is going on here?" I thought as I was getting more and more confused by the second.

As I entered the cave, I went and sat on my wooden chair and browsed through the Pokedex, reading and learning more about all the Pokemon I had scanned during my trip outside. It was safe to stay, it was good trip as I had filled out my Pokedex with Pokemon that I had encountered in the wild. Most of them were in the category of 'Seen' and not 'Caught' so I had limited information to work with.

I didn't plan on catching those that didn't arouse my interest though, maybe later though I would catch more Pokemon to truly fill out my Pokedex. For now, though, I will savour my first catching's with Pokemon that I actually want.

With that thought in mind, I continued browsing through my Pokedex for the rest of the day, also spending some time to learn more about the features inside of the Pokedex itself. I was quite intrigued by it, after all.

Such technology and gadgets didn't exist in my world, so it was fascinating to see a Pokedex in real life. It was surreal, I felt the child inside of me that used to watch the anime Tv Show as a kid come to life as I studied the Pokedex and its mechanics. So, I was quite literally 'Geeking' on the inside.

I later spent my time browsing about the various kinds of plants in the Pokemon world, it was surely an interesting subject.

~ 5 days later~

After waiting for so long..... It was finally time, I had been waiting for so long. roughly for 1 month and a half, ever since I had come into this world. I had been waiting for this.

It's been a very long wait, it felt like forever since I had come into this world, yet it was only roughly over a month and a half. Which is surreal and unbelievable, yet here we are....

During these past few weeks, I had experienced and seen things beyond my wildest dreams and imaginations. It was probably the best experience of my life; despite all the countless thrills and dangers I had faced. There were times of doubt and times of joy. I felt like I had come out of that whole experience as a better person than I was before.

Which leads us to this very moment, my egg is very close to hatching.

Extremely close, might I add.

As I watched the timer with bated breath, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with emotions as I recalled everything that had happened so far....

' It's finally happening... After over a month of waiting and patience....' I couldn't help but smile as I concluded that thought. This is where my Pokemon Trainer adventure truly begins, I had managed to survive in the wilderness of the Kanto Region thus far all on my own. But this will undoubtedly make my life a lot easier, I will finally have my first Pokemon, my one and only starter.

I waited patiently in anticipation as I kept my eyes on the egg, I waited for a month and a half, I can wait for one measly hour. A starter Pokemon is extremely important as they mark the beginning for all trainers. No matter how many Pokemon you catch or have in the future, your starter will always be your closest bond and friend. That's why I was excited to finally meet my Starter and see what kind of Pokemon it is.

As I was daydreaming about the possibilities of the Pokemon I could get. I was suddenly snapped out of my stupor by a bright golden light that enveloped my egg as its energy pulsed once more as its expanded to reach the whole mountain. The golden plate armour shell of the egg shone very brightly as it shook, I felt like I heard something familiar from it.

Ba-dump!

Wait..... Was that a.....?

I watched in amazement as I heard a faint heartbeat coming from the egg and it seems like it was not planning on stopping any time soon.

The Egg shook over and over inside the premium incubator with each heartbeat as its energy expanded and pulsed, its radiance could be felt all across the mountain. I heard rumbling outside the cave which I had ignored in favour of staying with the egg, not letting it stay out of my sight.

The Egg currently looked extremely defined, being extremely close to hatching, roughly an hour in fact. I watched as the minutes passed by slowly.

The Aura I felt from the egg was tremendously high, it was like being in front of a massive star, you cannot comprehend the sheer radiance of it! I heard the sounds of violent winds outside as thunder rumbled in the sky, which was quite Odd considering how it was sunny the last time I checked.

I suddenly heard the incubator and Egg move as they floated off the ground. the place they were on was now turned into molten lava. I watched breathlessly as the Egg and Incubator floated in the air.

Whatever is inside the egg was so powerful it was causing natural disasters with its sheer Aura! I noted as the ground began to shake as small rocks fell from the cave ceiling as if an Earthquake had occurred.

Despite the immense Aura I felt, i felt like it was warm. I wasn't feeling shaken or stressed at all, it's like the Aura of Egg is actively trying to protect me from harm. It was all overwhelming to witness as I couldn't understand what was going on anymore.

Seconds turned into Minutes as the Egg Shook and Pulsated with Raw Untamed Aura and Energy that seems to have gotten more intense as time passed by, I watched as the cave slowly began to collapse, I rushed and began to collect all the things inside the cave and pulling it inside my inventory, It took me a few minutes but I managed to pull it off before the cave fully collapsed in on itself.

I went to Incubator and Egg; the egg formed a shield around itself and me as it protected us from the falling rocks and debris. All the while a heartbeat could be heard from the egg.

I gasped as I saw how we were now surrounded by debris of the destroyed cave, before I could think of how to get us out, the Egg alongside the forcefield that surrounded us moved taking us above the fallen debris of the cave.

Only then was I able to witness everything. The whole world outside the cave was in chaos, the forest seemed to be engulfed by violent winds, I used my Aura sense and felt no Pokemon nearby.

Using my Aura sense, I sensed that everything had apparently evacuated long before any of this had occurred. Somehow the Pokemon seemed to have known this was going to happen, was this why they kept their distance?

I watched as the Egg took us to a flat ground as it pulsed and shook alongside the Heartbeat. as its brilliant glow and radiant shine had seemingly stunned the atmosphere as it darkened with stormy clouds and crackled with golden lightning. Magma seemed to seep from the area we were at, the destroyed cave.

The Aura from the Egg couldn't have done this to the atmosphere, perhaps it was its presence.

" Just what kind of Pokemon are you?" I asked the Egg as it shook and pulsed with Raw Aura that transformed into Ground Type aura that seemingly caused the entire mountain to shake. I can sense that the land and even sky itself was crying in fear as if a massive calamity was about to unfold.

It felt as if the Pokemon inside the Egg had heard, but I felt it reply to my question with a ' I don't know.' as it shone brightly with golden light.

As everything around, us was suffering the consequences of my Starters apparent birth, I couldn't help but sweat at how much destruction this was causing! Seems like I am going to piss off the Onix and Steelix Clan sooner than I thought, in fact I am surprised they haven't come here in rage for causing so much destruction in their territory. I was completely positive that this whole ruckus is big enough to grab their attention.

You had to be both blind and deaf to not see all the chaos that is happening around this mountain, even other nearby mountains are not spared by the wild radiant and potent Aura.

They haven't shown up this whole time, I felt something was off, but I couldn't for the life of me tell what it was.

I was once again brought out of my thoughts as I saw my Egg form tiny cracks on its Egg crust as it pulsated with golden energy as its whole shape shook from the outside and inside as its Heartbeats got louder and louder.

I checked the timer and saw that the timer said that thirty minutes was left for the egg to hatch.

Whatever is inside the Egg, it's about to be revealed in thirty minutes....

The Egg shook as it broke free from the Incubator, I watched in shock as the Incubator fell down to the ground. I checked it and it seemed to be fine, no visible damage can be seen. I observed the Egg and saw that it still had over 29-minutes left, I heaved a sigh of relief as the time required for the egg to hatch hadn't decreased despite it getting out of the incubator.

I stashed the incubator inside my inventory and watched as the Egg seemingly grew in size, before it was roughly the size of my torso but now it was easily the size of my entire body, I was a tall guy too! I was literally 6'2 and a half! I had grown half an inch from before I came to this world.

The Egg had Golden Armour Plates with Black Lines decorating it, it was actually embedded into the Golden Armour Plate outer shell as it decorated the egg. There were white Horn-Like protrusions on the egg that looked eerily similar to spikes.

The forcefield around us got even denser as the atmosphere got heavier as thunder continuously ravaged the mountain and its surroundings, the dark clouds extending well beyond what the eyes can see. No Pokemon was in sight, all of them seemed to know of this event beforehand and evacuated to a safe distance early on.

I think it's fairly obvious that whatever is inside the egg is not a normal Pokemon by now. To cause such a large-scale mess during its birth is already too big of a give-away.

' Could it be....' I thought deeply engrossed in my own thoughts before I shook my head in denial.

' No, there is no way that could be the case.' I shrugged that thought off.

Seconds turned into minutes as I waited patiently, the calamity still ongoing as I was being protected by the forcefield created by the egg.

' 10 minutes left.' I thought as I observed the timer in the egg.

I witnessed as the heartbeat became even louder as the winds shook, I watched as dozens of massive rocks and sand began circling the Egg and me, creating a massive sand and rock hurricane that engulfed everything around us.

Inside the sand and rock hurricane was us, we were completely safe protected by the Egg's forcefield made from its immense immeasurable Aura that didn't harm me whatsoever despite it being too overwhelming to bear and witness. I was still extremely weary as that amount of Energy seemed too immense for comfort; it had exceeded the Aura I had felt from the Onix. This newfound Aura that seemingly came out of nowhere didn't seem to come from the Egg, but rather the atmosphere as if though it had naturally reacted this way due to egg's presence.

It screamed in both anticipation, excitement and fear as the surrounding Aura seemed excited to bear witness to what it thought to be a 'historic event', the entire atmosphere seemed to grow with excitement and pressure as it circled me and the egg with Aura, the Aura flowed inside the Egg empowering it and aiding it in hatching. It seemed like the world itself was trying to help the Egg hatch.

' This is becoming a bit too much.' I thought with a sweat drop as I saw how everything seemed to become more and more confusing the more time passes by.

I couldn't make sense of the situation anymore; this was too absurd.

"Shit, nothing is making sense anymore." I said with sigh as I watched the Egg pulsate with golden glow and a heartbeat.

The next couple of minutes pass on quietly as I simple watched as my Aura Sense goes nuts, allowing me to percept the world in a much-detailed sense, which is better compared to what only the eyes can see and what the ears can hear. My Aura Sense was like a sixth sense that always kept me in the loop of what was happening around, me but I felt like my Aura Sense was growing sharper each second.

But even after a while of improvement, my Aura sense was overwhelmed as it couldn't fathom what was happening, but that was good because I felt me Aura Sense was improving as I began to better comprehend the Aura around me even though it was beyond comprehensible to my innate senses.

Why is it improving? Oh wait.....

I forgot I turned off the notifications.....

I facepalmed at my stupidity and turned them back on.

' It also seems my Aura Sense shot up by seven whole levels.' I thought excitedly as I used my Aura Sense once more.

Using my aura sense, I can somewhat understand Aura Intentions a lot better now, from my current point of view. The reason why all the Aura in the land, sky and atmosphere is acting up is because of all the presence of my Egg, it seems like the Prescence of the Egg had shaken up all of the nearby Aura Energies which shape all life as we know it, atleast in the Pokemon world that is.

The World itself seems to be at awe at what it is witnessing, it seems like a lot of Aura from Kanto is gathering up in this mountain range. All of its focus is on this Egg, it is treating this Egg as if it were some sort of profound existence in this world.

I put my attention back on the Egg and observed it as the timer had dropped from two minutes to 1 minute and 59 seconds.

I suddenly gasped as I felt the Aura intensify even further to levels, I hadn't ever dreamed of was possible as they circled around the forcefield created from the Egg's innate Raw Aura in order to protect me and prevent me from being thrown away from all the debris of sand and rocks.

I squinted my eyes as the light from the egg had grown too bright for me to gaze at as I turned my sight away from the Golden Scaley and Armoury Egg. The cracks became a lot bigger and defined as the Pokémon inside the egg draws closer and closer towards hatching from its prison.

I covered my ears as the Heartbeat had become too loud, its booming sound echoing through the sandstorm. I felt the egg's Aura wrap around me and suddenly felt my body feel a bit more comfortable! Suddenly the noise and bright light wasn't as unbearable as it was previously despite it not decreasing at all.

I looked at the egg and put my hand on it.

" Thanks." I told the Pokemon inside the Massive Human sized egg.

I felt our connection deepen and heard the Pokemon reply with a' I have your back!'.

I couldn't help but grin as I felt our Aura's intertwine and mix together.

I widened my eyes in shock as I wasn't expecting my affinity to increase.

I shook my head and ignored it for now and focused on the Egg.

I watched the timer as it went from 1 minute to 59 seconds; it was getting quite intense as the Aura from the Egg kept reaching levels higher and higher, entering territory that felt nearly boundless to the current me who had a limited perception of Aura and its properties.

I couldn't help but shudder in awe at the sight of how chaotic the mountain had become. Magma and Lava was erupting out of the Ground, Lightning was quite literally crackling everywhere as the earth shook with massive tremors and quakes. Amidst the field of natural disasters, their appeared a change, A minor one but a change nonetheless as the sandstorm had become more tamed and more concentrated as it circled us in a more dignified and organized manner as it had begun following an organized and refined pattern, through the darkness of the sandstorm a golden light shone from the small openings provided from the cracks within the egg that shined even brighter than the Golden Aura from the outer shell of the egg itself.

It was saddening to see the once peaceful land had become completely overcome with natural disasters due to the raging and untamed Aura Energies, which is reacting wildly to my egg's presence. So, it was sort of my fault, which in turn made me feel bad about it.

But there was literally nothing I could do about this situation; I was completely powerless.

" Man, this scene looks similar to one which you would see in a post-apocalyptic world right now." I thought out loudly as I witnessed everything unfold before my eyes.

I felt a nudge as the Egg had told me that it agreed with me, it seems even the Pokemon inside the Egg itself was surprised by what was happening and unfolding before our eyes.

I smiled as I watched the timer go from 10 to 9.

It was finally happening; the egg was finally about to hatch!

I smiled widely in anticipation as I watched the egg.

At that moment, I felt as if the world had become silent, the storm, lightning, magma and even tremors and quakes had stopped in order to witness what was happening.

~ CRACKS ~

The Egg Shone brighter as the Cracks became even bigger as most of the outer shell of the egg looked nearly destroyed. A shell of its former ethereal beauty.

The heartbeats have become louder, either that or the eerie silence that had occurred upon the land made the sound coming from the egg more coherent and apparent than it was previously.

Ba - Dump!

' Am I Imagining things or did the Heartbeat become even louder than it was a second ago?' I thought as the heartbeat sound echoed across the vast and mighty mountain that had somehow withstood the calamity that had unfolded with visible damage, holes, burnt rocks and cracks.

The light from the Egg began increasing in brightness and velocity as it had enveloped the entire mountain, but strangely... My eyes weren't hurt at all, I felt like I could gaze into the immense Golden shower of Aura and light that seemed to shower my body with protection, most of which was composed of a Potent and Refined Ground type Aura with a small hint of Rock Type and Fire Type Auras here and there.

Eventually the light became too bright, it wasn't hurting me by any means. But rather I felt uncomfortable as the light was way too overwhelming, I couldn't see anything.

I suddenly felt the aura coming from the Egg taking me back to the ground alongside with it as we landed in an open field.

~ CRACK!!~

~ CRACK?!~

~ BOOM ~

I brought my hands in front of me and closed my eyes as I heard the eggshells break apart as they flew off into random directions in the air.

I felt an immense golden light brush past me and through the entire mountain, as the entire mountain was engulfed in light, not just the mountain but the skies.

Hundreds of miles away, many Wild Pokemon see a massive Pillar of Golden light which a mix of countless different Aura energies, completely erupt into the sky as it flows back into atmosphere of the planet.

This event could be seen across countless satellites across the massive planet as a small corner of the Kanto region was temporarily shining a vibrant golden light.

I waited as the light settled, as it took nearly 30 seconds for the it stops shining. I watched as the sky was bathed in golden light, the dark clouds now but a distant memory as they had vanished alongside the crackling lightning, tremors and quakes. The Magma had also gone back to where it had come from as the land began regaining itself.

I watched in awe as the sky changed colours as it went from golden to its normal sky-blue colour in mere moments.

I heard a loud thud next to me as the being responsible for all the previous chaos that engulfed this land had finally revealed himself.

I turned my face as the dust settled and what I saw completely shocked me to the core.

I took a step back.

" ROAAAAAR." The Pokemon roared happily as it was finally released from its prison as it hugged the ground, which despite being a comical scene didn't help making me lose my awe. Its voice was powerful enough to boom across the destroyed forest.

" Oh, my fucking god...." I muttered as I couldn't fucking believe what I was looking at. Even though it was a baby, it was fucking undeniable what this Pokemon in front me was.

Its identity looking eerily similar to a certain Pokemon I am very familiar with.

The Golden Scaled Pokemon was happily rolling on the ground while roaring cutely and happily as if though it was celebrating. The only reason it looks cute is because it's a freaking baby.

" I can't fucking believe it..... There is no way..." Despite my denial, the undeniable evidence was clear, this was undoubtedly a....

I took out my Pokedex and performed a scan on the happy-go-lucky Pokemon in front of me.

" Groudon, The Continent Pokémon. This legendary Pokémon is said to represent the land. Groudon has appeared Countless times in Pokemon mythology and history as the creator of the land. It sleeps in magma underground and is said to make volcanoes erupt on awakening. Through Primal Reversion and with nature's full power, it will take back its true form. It can cause magma to erupt and expand the landmass of the world. Groudon is also the most Powerful Ground Type Pokemon ever discovered, only a few of them exist in the world. Because of its habits to expand the lands and continents each time it awakens across the world and constantly evaporating the seas with its raging body heat. It led to a disastrous result, as it had brought the attention and fury of its arch nemesis, Kyogre. As a result, it battled titanically with Kyogre, each clash reshaping the fabric of the world itself. This particular Groudon is a new-born shiny Pokemon." The Pokedex narrated as it scanned the Shiny Baby Groudon in front of me.

" I can't fucking believe it, a freaking Groudon? and its fucking Shiny?" I yelled in absolute shock as I watched the Pokemon in front of me who was still rolling in the ground happily.

The Groudon had seemingly snapped out of its stupor at my outburst as finally took notice of me and grinned mischievously as it stood up and leaped from its position and sat on me,

" OOF!" I screamed in pain as the human sized baby Groudon had jumped on me and pinned me to ground as it sat on me and watched me with its big eyes.

" Groudon! please, I can't breathe!" I gasped for air as I asked Groudon to get off of me, he merely twisted his head a little before understanding and reluctantly stepped away and I finally got a breath of air as I panted.

I used this opportunity to use my Observe Skill on Groudon.

I had no idea what to base his stats on, but that Health and Aura already looks insane to me.

I tried to pet the Baby Shiny Groudon on the head, he understood what I was trying to do and leaned his head to my hand and purred.

I can't fucking believe it, A freaking Groudon! and not just any Groudon but a shiny one.....

No fucking wonder everything was going nuts, including the weather. This was a fucking legendary Pokemon, A Literal God among Pokemon being hatched right in front of their eyes.

The nearby wild Pokémon must have evacuated and ran away because of him, they instinctively knew that a wild Legendary Pokemon Egg was nearby, so they probably stayed away from it. thinking that its parent must also be around, it all made sense now! they probably didn't want to piss off a Legendary Pokemon by being near its egg.

But this Legendary Pokemon had no such parent, and now that its hatched I can't help but feel overcome with joy.

How many people out there can say they have a fucking legendary Pokemon as their starter?

You don't know? Well, I don't know either, but that's beside the point.

I mean, this wasn't just any legendary Pokemon either, it was a freaking Groudon. The Personification of the Land and the Earth itself! On par with both Rayquaza and Kyogre.

It was a Top Tier Legendary Pokemon, its ranked so high on the food chain that it considered a UX ranked Pokemon.

' You know, I have the perfect Poke Ball for this Groudon.' I said as my eyes shone with anticipation.

I looked towards the Groudon who was currently sniffing my hand, Baby Legendary Pokemon sure are curious creatures.

"Hey Groudon." I began, making Groudon look at me with a head tilt.

" Grou~?" Groudon asked, as if though saying, 'What?', Its voice wasn't that deep considering its age but its undoubtedly going to grow up to be an unstoppable force of nature.

According to the Pokedex, the Average Height for Groudon in this world is roughly 120 Meters, which means that this 2-meter dinosaur is going to literally become a Kaiju Sized Dinosaur by the time he becomes a Fully Grown Groudon. And he was Above Average in size, meaning he will become even bigger than that!

The Pokedex also says, that Legendary Pokemon can level up as they grow older without needing to train, Legendary Pokemon are always born Powerful without the need or the use of training. Groudons during specifically go deep underground near the core of the planet and feed off the Aura of the Core to grow more powerful, Groudons after hatching immediately go to the core to spend their lives napping underground in magma chambers and go deeper underground as they grow older and stronger.

" Do you want to join me and go on many adventures? I will make you the strongest Pokemon in the world." I asked the newly hatched shiny baby Groudon.

Groudon's expression became thoughtful for a few seconds before looking at me with determination and nodding.

" Grouuuuu!" Groudon roared fiercely, using our aura connection I read that as a "Are you kidding? That sounds awesome!".

I already have the Best Pokeball for this Shiny Groudon.

I smiled and brought my Master Ball and clicked the front side of the Master Ball on Groudon, Groudon went inside without any resistance and was immediately caught.

" Oh my god.... I actually caught a freaking Groudon as my starter!" I yelled out loud and started jumping as I cheered and celebrated without a care in the world.

Holy fuck, a hidden mission? and what's up with all these broken rewards? I also had to equip that title!

This system is being extremely generous it seems. A fucking Potion that can make any Pokemon permanently shiny? Fuck yes!

I also finally gained some sweet levels on my Trainer Level, which is awesome! We all know where this Primal Groudon Tooth is going though, I thought as I put it inside of my Shiny Baby Groudon without summoning it outside, if an average groudon is 120 meters in height and an Average Primal Groudon is roughly two times the size of an average Groudon I don't want to see a freaking Primal Groudon Tooth, I don't even think I can lift it.

My Groudon was still inside the Master Ball, I used it as a held-on item using the system it was quite easy. I can feel the Groudon grow excited as it was in the ball using our Aura Connection though.

Then there is Rare Candy, I am not using it anytime soon, maybe later when it becomes extremely hard for Groudon to level up.

As for my Affinity rank up, I am honestly not surprised anymore at this point. I have seen it increase slowly but surely over the past few weeks, So I have gotten used to it at this point. But I am pleased to see one of my affinities reach the highest affinity rank.

I can feel the Ground Type Aura Energies practically swarming around me like a crowd of fans. Ground Type Aura apparently really seems to love me now, it used to enjoy and like my presence before, but now it feels like it can't seem to get enough of me.

As I confirmed my choices, I suddenly felt a huge rush of power enter my body as I felt far stronger than I had been before.

I clenched my fist with a smile.

' My Aura reserves had increased by 20 times! I can already feel the change.... It's astounding. I can easily crush my previous self with a single Aura enhanced punch!' I concluded as I was satisfied with the results.

I threw the master ball and brought my Groudon out, my master ball came back to me, and I stashed it back inside my pocket.

The infant Groudon roared as it appeared outside of the ball and looked around before focusing it gaze on me and jumping at me once more.

I groaned as I felt like this might become a habit for Groudon, I just hope he won't do it when he grows up to an adult.

I sweat dropped and shuddered at the thought of a massive Groudon pinning me down underneath its weight and massive body.

It's been shrunk down from three years to one year, that Growth stone is a Onetime use only, and I don't feel like ever hatching Pokemon eggs again. So, I will doubt that I would need it in the future, I think its best if I used it on Groudon. I can't remove it now even if I wanted to, it's already been used on Groudon.

The item will disappear once Groudon hits maximum growth and becomes an adult.

Should I try going to civilization? Hmmm....

Now that I think about it, I can't go back to a human settlement yet. I have a baby legendary Pokemon on my hands, who knows what kind of trouble we will get ourselves in if an organization like team Rocket had received information that I have an Infant Groudon on my deck. They will undoubtedly try to take it from me and use it for nefarious means.

Okay, so my goal is to make Groudon as strong as possible during this year, by the time it becomes a fully grown adult. That's probably the best time to go to a human settlement and get registered as a trainer in a Pokemon centre, but that raises another thing to consider.

Should I keep Groudon as a hidden trump card or be open about having a Shiny Groudon on my team? We will have to see, for now I will focus on getting stronger and building my foundations first.

So, I will not register as a trainer at the moment, currently my Groudon is too young and is far from reaching the strength of an average Groudon. I will focus on getting stronger, if the Pokedex is to be trusted. Legendary Pokemon can get stronger without even training, just relying on basic means and their natural growth for strength. If I spend all my time training groudon and levelling him up. Won't it be able to reach its standard species strength much faster?

Maybe even reach its standard species strength in a year! It has the UX - Ranked Potential and 'Fast Learner' trait, and with the Primal Groudon Tooth it should be possible to make it as strong as a regular Groudon at bare minimum by the end of the year.

Though, if I use him in Pokemon battles at that point. I am absolutely certain nobody will ever stand a chance against me with Groudon as my Ace Pokemon and Trump Card. Groudon is after all part of the weather trio legendary, A trio of legendries so powerful that they can literally manipulate the weather of the planet at will, I have no doubt that a fully grown standard Groudon can probably destroy the whole world with ease.

" My Groudon shall surpass them all, I will make it the strongest Groudon to ever exist. Isn't that right Groudon?" I said to the Hatchling Shiny Groudon who was laying on top of me, I could somehow withstand its weight after imbuing my body with my 20 times enhanced Aura and increased endurance, durability and strength, but I still could not move my body. Even as a baby Groudon was way too heavy.

Groudon stood up and huffed in agreement as he got off of me, I smirked as I stood back up and raised my hand to fist bump him. He smirked and returned my fist bump.

" We will become the strongest duo! You and me!" I said with confidence, and I kept my gaze on Groudon who's smirk got even wider as he roared, saying ' I can't wait to get stronger!' I nodded at his enthusiasm; he will need it for what the future awaits us. Our aura connection was only making our bond even stronger.

Even if I don't use him for future Pokemon battles against Gym Leaders and Ordinary trainers, He was going to stay as a permanent member of my team. I want to know more about the human's stance about Legendary Pokemon first before using him in a battle.

By then I can already imagine the amount of devastation he will cause.

As a Legendary Pokemon, he is naturally capable of sweeping entire Pokemon teams with ease and no difficulty.

According to the Pokemon Ranks, a UX - Ranked Mythology Class Level 1 Pokemon is roughly over several thousand times stronger than a E - Ranked level 1 Pokemon, so it's honestly not even fair.

Especially If I had levelled up my Groudon to the 300 ~ 400 range, I would be too freaking overpowered. This isn't a game where the numbers and levels are fixed to make things more balanced. This was real life.

Moving on. Now, I really need to think about where to stay.

The problem is that my previous base of operations is currently destroyed. Where can I go?

I sat down on the Ground to think about a solution, meanwhile Groudon started eating nearby rocks and sand, Oh yeah.... He is a ground Type. So, it makes sense he eats rocks and sand, it looks a bit weird seeing something eat Rocks and sand though.

I chuckled at my thoughts before I felt a massive tremor. Which caught both Groudon and my attention as I stood up wearily and Groudon came close to me and started growling.

The ground cracked and broke apart as a massive creature of stone appeared and brought a massive cloud of dust as it emerged from underground.

It was a freaking Onix. It also feels, familiar.... Wait..... This Aura, I had felt it before...

It's the same Onix I saw when I had first gotten here! I used my Observe on it.

Oh, my fucking god. So, this is the power of a Level 115 Pokemon? The stats are absurd, but it seems like its barely stronger than my Groudon.

I would reckon a few single digit level ups will make groudon way stronger than this Onix.

Suddenly though, the Onix lowered its head as it gazed on the Groudon, as if it was kneeling to it.

I suddenly felt a telepathic connection form with Aura as the Onix Spoke with us in our mind.

' Honourable Ones, my leader had spoken. He would like to meet you both.' was what I had heard from the Onix. A look of total surprise came on my face as I glanced at Groudon who seemed confused at the Onix's words.
