3 Travelling to Kanto!

A 10 year old kid was standing at the Slateport City Airport with a small group of people with him. This was V who was going to start his journey, however instead of starting out in Hoenn he decided to start out in Kanto.

"Are you sure about this V? It'd surely be easier for you to start in Hoenn seeing as you have many connections here." Said a 14 year old Steven Stone with a questioning tone.

"He's right you know, you know some big names in the Hoenn region so it'd be much more convenient during your travels." Repeated Wallace after Steven.

Wallace had met Steven when they were both travelling, they became fast friends and when Steven returned home to Rustboro occasionally Wallace would follow along. The first time Wallace tagged along he met V and they also became a close knit group of 3 friends with Steven and Wallace treating V as a little brother most of the time.

"While it would be easier as you guys said, what type of adventure would it be without difficulties at every turn? You know what sort of person I am, I don't desire fame or wealth, I just want to get even stronger and have fun" Retorted V with a vicious smirk on his face.

At this time Steven was still just a rising star in the Hoenn Alliance and Wallace had yet to become a Top Coordinator, even so they had impressive connections as one was the only heir of the largest corporation in Hoenn and the other was the disciple of gym leader Juan of the Sootopolis Gym, V didn't want to rely on them too much.

"Besides, I'll be fine in Kanto, I have Beldum and Feebas with me don't I?" Regarding his current party of Pokemon, while he didn't go out to catch any Pokemon, he was gifted a Beldum and Feebas by Steven and Wallace respectively to celebrate his 10th birthday.

"Well, you have enough leftover wealth from your parents that you could use to get yourself out of most trouble." Spoke Steven. In reference to his current wealth, V could be qualified to be called a very rich man.

~~~~ Background Information ~~~~

You see V's parents passed away in an accident a few years back when V was 7, while V was very thankful to his parents for bringing him into the world, he wasn't too attached to them as they were away almost always with rare occasions where they were too awkward to be called a family. As such V gave them a grand funeral and then moved on quickly, as V was too young to take over his parent's business it was handed over to family friend Joseph Stone who is Steven's father to manage until V turned of age and was deemed ready to run the business.

However V shocked a lot of people when he gave the rights to business to Mr. Stone in exchange for a blank check he could use whenever he wanted, V claimed that 'Running a business would be too troublesome when I'm travelling, I have no talent for business anyways.' When Steven first heard about this he just sighed and said that it was just like V.

As V aged it seemed he hit puberty early as he grew extremely quickly to the height of almost 5'6 which was far taller than others his age, his hair grew to be short but incredibly messy. Women around him exclaimed that he would grow to be an incredibly attractive man when he grew older, although V ignored these claims and focused on studying almost everything related to Pokemon to the point where there were few who could claim they knew more than him.

V was discovered to have an incredible innate talent for Pokemon battling and training, to the point where he could see the flaws of other trainers when he just watched them battle for a short while, this was proven further when he saw Steven and Wallace practicing with each other and pointed out multiple flaws they both had, when Steven and Wallace put his advice into affect they were able to bring out even more combat strength from their Pokemon.

V once challenged Wallace to a battle where he borrowed Steven's Pokemon as he was already familiar with them, the battle turned out to be a one sided slaughter where Wallace could barely defeat one of V's Pokemon with 6 of his own, although it could be pointed out that Wallace was unfamiliar with V's battle style, Wallace admitted himself that with Pokemon of the same level range, V was nearly unbeatable.

At this time the airport speaker started speaking.

"This is the final boarding call for passengers V and Fred Collins booked on flight 372A to Saffron City. Please proceed to gate 3 immediately. The final checks are being completed and the captain will order for the doors of the aircraft to close in approximately five minutes time. I repeat. This is the final boarding call for V and Fred Collins. Thank you." Hearing this V looked over and turned around, he turned his head over his shoulder and spoke.

"It looks like this is it, I'll call you guys when I arrive if I don't forget." After saying his piece he turned around and walked away while waving goodbye with his bag in tow.

Seeing V walk away Steven sighed and the tapped Wallace's shoulder. "Let's go, you know how he is, he's like a piece of wood, he'll never listen to others when he decides to do something." With that Steven walked towards the airport entrance and Wallace followed behind.

As V put his bag under his seat, he pulled out his headphones and started playing his music as he stared out the window and waited for the plane to take off. (Music: N's Farewell from Pokemon Black and White)

Just as he was about to close his eyes he saw something interesting, a Mew was outside his window and was watching him curiously and put it's small hand on the window, seeing this action V also stretched out a finger and placed it on the same spot as the Mew's hand, he pushed his Aura through his fingertips and tried to speak with the Mew, when he felt the connection succeed, he spoke through his mind.

'Are you having fun there Mew?' He asked with a smirk on its face. Hearing a voice in its head, Mew was startled but then became even more curious with the human in front of it. 'Usually I'm the one that talks to others this way, I haven't met a human that could use his Aura proficiently in years.' Replied the Mew with a small voice that could be described as similar to a cat mewing.

Before V could reply the Mew spoke again, 'I'm very curious human, you're different from others, usually when others recognize me they show at least the tiniest hint of greed however I can't feel any from you, why is that?'

When V heard this he had a pondering expression before it changed into a playful one and answered. 'Its simple really, I'm not interested in catching you, maybe as a pet but you don't fit my criteria to be a part of my team.'

Hearing this the Mew looked as if it was offended and had a small pout on its face. It then proceeded to give V a look as if to say, 'You better watch out I'll be watching you!' then disappeared from V's view.

With the small event over, the plane took off smoothly and the journey went off without a hitch.

When the plane landed at Saffron City, V got off quickly and took in a breath of fresh air and looked towards the sky. Then he headed towards the Saffron city Pokemon center to spend the night as it was already late at night when he arrived. Before he went to sleep, he called Steven and Wallace to let them know he arrived safely.

After showing his Alliance ID to the Nurse Joy, he was assigned a room to use for the night. Upon entering the room, he took out his 3 pokeballs and let out the Pokemon inside, of course he had already prepared a basin of water for Feebas in advance.

When the three pokemon appeared in the room, the originally spacious room became a bit crowded due to Zacian being over two meters tall but it was fine.

Before he went to sleep, he gave the three pokemon some pokefood and appraised them once more for good measure.

As Zacian was kept secret even from Steven and Wallace, its status barely changed except for gaining one level due to occasionally training with V in the depths of Petalburg woods.

Regarding Beldum, as the species as a whole doesn't really learn combat effective moves until evolution to Metang unless TM's are used, it has a very limited moveset. Feebas was the same case with naturally learned moves, however due to V's vast resources, V used a decent amount of TM's on Feebas.

Currently V's plan was to build his Beldum as his team's main tank and secondary melee fighter while turning his Feebas into a ranged attacker with incredible evasiveness.

Wallace once asked why V didn't just buy a prism scale to evolve his Feebas, truthfully V had a prism scale in his bag at all times, however he wanted to let Feebas train some more to set it's foundation before it evolves as it still struggled to utilize some of its TM moves.

With his appraisal for the night done he bid goodnight to his Pokemon and fell asleep.
