"System, are there any special events coming up that I should go to?"

"There is a war that is going to be held in 3 days between many different sects, clans, and other organizations for the Divine Enlightenment Pagoda that has been missing for several millennia. Rumors say that the pagoda can help Martial Emperors reach enlightenment to become a Martial Ancestor."

"Is that why I couldn't sense the other core elders in the sect?" Ling Tian thought.

Ling Tian restricted his natural powers to where he can't immediately know the answers to his questions and can't use his other natural powers until he wants to.

Ling Tian did this because knowing everything is no fun.

"Hahaha, I guess I can act as many different roles this time. I can act as a peddler and sell pills, weapons, and more!"

Ling Tian went to a nearby city that was near the war location. He disguised himself as a young man that had a handsome face but not as handsome as his original appearance.

His disguised appearance had eyebrows that look like they were shaped by a sword. He had long silky black hair with a chiseled face. He was dressed in an all-black rougher cloth robe with a sword that was also black and cold to the touch strapped to his back.

In the future, this would be one of the many disguises that he would use. He called this specific disguise Ling Tian. Yes, his real name, he would use this for ordinary quick disguises for situations.

He toned down his cultivation to Foundation Establishment 8th stage, the average cultivation level of the younger generation in the higher sects ranked sects.

He walked into a restaurant called the Green Bamboo Pavilion, a restaurant known for its fine wine and delicious menu. It was the best restaurant in Spirit Jade City.

He walked inside and was met with many voices and the smell of wine and juicy meat.

"Young Master, what floor and seat would like to sit at?" A waitress with a pretty face, petite body, refined appearance, and a pleasant smile greeted him.

Ling Tian wanted to go to the third floor, the highest floor because he wanted a quiet environment and nicer food.

"I would like to go to the third floor." Ling Tian replied.

"Young Master, you have to have enough influence to enter the second and third floor. Or you have to have a high enough cultivation level." The waitress replied respectfully.

Ling Tian showed his Azure Dragon Sect inner disciple badge he forged out of convenience instantly.

"Young Master is indeed great. You may now enter the second and also the third floor since you are an inner disciple of the Azure Dragon Sect!" The waitress said in shock.

Ling Tian went to the third floor and sat down by himself at one of the tables in the back corner.

He ordered the signature wine of the restaurant, the Green Bamboo Wine, and some other dishes.

The dishes and wine arrived shortly after and he sniffed the wine, although it wasn't as good as the other wines he drank before in his previous visits around the universe, it wasn't bad.

He drank it and the wine went smoothly down his throat and had a nice burning sensation that was pleasant.

He started tasting the other dishes when he started hearing a lot of footsteps coming up.

About 16 or so people came up that looked like disciples of a sect. They had a symbol of a saber on their robes with a saber strapped to their backs.

They all looked arrogantly at everyone and said, "Everyone, we are the disciples of the Divine Saber Sect! Leave now or you will all get crushed!"

Ling Tian raised one of his eyebrows and also noticed some others in the shadows. He guessed that they were their guardians.

It was a common occurrence that there would be at least one guardian or bodyguard to protect the disciples of high-ranking sects when they went out.

Everyone was discontent with their attitude and what they were doing. However, they couldn't do anything about it because they didn't want to offend the Divine Saber Sect, the 7th strongest sect in the world.

Even though there were some stronger experts on the third floor currently, they didn't want to unnecessarily bring trouble to themselves as it wasn't worth it.

Only one person stayed on the third floor and of course, that was Ling Tian.
