Honest a really good read. I am dropping because I really dislike the whole memory loss trope. It's really just not my thing but if your okay with that then definitely give this a read! Appreciate your work author it's just not for me.

This story had a lot of potential. Unfortunately it was ruined by several reasons. In order of importance from my point of view:-writing quality: poor grammar, wrong expression, badly structured sentence. Those are points that made the reading extremely difficult.-characters: they are overall not bad, most secondary character are flat and too numerous, I would prefer less character but more developed. Second is the MC, he's not bad I just dislike him, I think he's really not interesting and he's really slow. I have nothing against that it's just that following the story of someone who's not that bright is not what I'm looking for. Fortunately some characters are better but come on, the MC is weak and slow-witted with poor estim. Not endearing- the world building is good but the story is honestly a bit flat but then again it's only my opinion.Overall it's not a bad story if you like historical settings with fantasy bits. The universe is really interesting if you can ignore the English mistakes and like the MC. I can't do either so I'll pass but overall the story deserves a chance so try it and make your own opinion

I love this novel but I’m forced to drop it because of the MC character. After a while it’s getting annoying. The side characters of the same age act more mature than the MC by a lot. It’s such a shame.

I love everything but the Author is utterly dumb in regard to romantic relationships. Why develop Gwen abd Emery like that. Dropped it bc of that :/. 10/10 Story but that bortherted me and my fragile heart so much. I still gave it 5/5 stars to support the author but that really wasnt good.

This book is such a disappointment. It had lots of potential but the author has ruined the characters. Unnecessary drama between the leads, and lots of problems. Skipped ahead chapter wise and the problems continue. I rarely write any reviews but I feel that I had to for this. Interesting world lore background, but main character is too naive on current chapters. Spaee yourself from the pain, and from reading this.

384: hhhhhhh you really made merlin into a noob to such extent that Arthur is the one explaining to him about certain things. we know that emery is weak at the beginning but making him dumb and naive at this stage is overkill. with so much he already went thru, its insane how you still keep him dumb specially whilst in his Merlin persona. isn't it not enough that he is weak, unlucky, with low aptitude that you still made him dumb? please improve his character. Its hard and cringy to keep seeing him as dumb and as naive as he is. I get the need for a build-up but shhhiiieesh I never so such a dumb MC in my entire reading life.

This novel is amazing... actually, it is so good as a story but so bad at the same time... it is because it's good that it is so bad... like when we read trash, we won't be mad when trashy moments happen, but when we read gold (like this novel) the rare moments of trash are highlighted. In this entire novel, I have seen about five instances of trash that make continued reading almost unbearable. Main one is the character called Granny - she is the main antoganist that has outlived her usage. The author could quickly event a better antognist but he just keeps letting the mc keep her alive... Even when he is in a battle of life and death, and she has killed his best friend and taken some of his powers. He points his sword at her and says 'You lose' instead of striking the finishing blow. And lo and behold, she uses that time to recover. That's such a trashy moment that it makes the book almost not worth reading. Next, he chases around his childhood friend who rejected him (yes a girl) like a little lost puppy (I may be overexaggerating here). But yeah, she abandoned him when he needed her most because she found out he was a fey, and then his father and people were slaughtered. Let me say this, the king and the princess were not the ones to order it, some shady noble did, but they allowed it all the same. To me, any deed of such a magnitude falls on the shoulder of the ruler who allowed it, even if he didn't explicitly order it. Then, to get revenge, wouldn't you kill the king, at least? Even more trashy, he can kill the person who did that to his family, out of malice I might add, and get away clean, but he does not... Is there a bigger way to say 'I just want to keep the plot going?' So, while this is an excellent novel, the trashy moments hit really hard. I just hope he gets Luna and the Egyptian Girl in his harem, or this will be dangerous close to becoming a semi-ntr-ish novel.

So far, after 344 chapters, Emery's journey has yet to reach a true crisis. However, the psychological baggage Emery boxes inside him are piling up beautifully at a rate wherein he is due for some internal purging that should tell us clearly what type of protagonist the writer is aiming for. Right now, Emery seems to follow his heart even if he is sometimes conflicted by it--which is a great thing in itself. As a noble who was properly raised by a father whom we have clearly seen to be an honorable knight, it should not surprise us that Emery tends to follow a lawful good path. But with everything on his plate, including the killing of his father and the massacre that killed his friend by someone he trusted (the old granny), as well as the injustice heaped upon the fey bloodline, something has gotta give eventually. Great story until this point. I shall reserve my judgment until I finally see for myself all the tangled threads of several worlds of characters being spun together in this magical novel.

This is an amazing story that keeps you on the edge and guessing throughout the whole story. the only thing that i do not like about this story is when i get to the end of a chapter and realize that i am caught up and have to wait till tlmlrrow to find out what happens. this is by far one of the best stories i have had the pleasure of reading on this site. it is a most read!

This novel seems like its gonna be a gem. So far i have read to the most recent chapter which is only chapter 14 but the writing quality is wayy better than 99% of the novels on here. Reminds me abit of oaragon of destruction if you hvae read that. The onky reason i didnt givr it a 5 on the update stability is cause ill have to wait too see if it keeps at 7 chapters a week.

Finally author write his second novel. author avans excell in creating a world mix between logic and fantasy. His first novel is my favorit. All the best for this one author.

Story is good but very slow and emery is a bit lacking as a mc and man, very indecisive and terrible at anything romance related he just gets dragged along by all girls and always ends with heartbreak. The world building and lore is great, I have a question tho for author. Will Silva ever come back and is the story harem or not?

I'm torn reading this honestly i like it but there's just so many elements that prevents this from being great. Romance - poor or down right terrible, if you're not into harem don't touch this. Author tries to create a complex level net but fails completely. Power system - honestly barely makes sense if compared with other novels. What I mean is each rank in the first stage you might as well treat as a big rank in any other novel. I honesltly keep think this could've been handled better. Story - i like the story when you cut out the fluff (it gets repetitive after the 5 tournament,.or the hundredth arena fight etc). The integration of earth myths into a magi story is awesome. Characters - characters are likeable with their own individual personality, down side MC is a full blown idiot there's no two ways to put this. Plot armor - the use of plot armor in this is HEAVY!!!! and that's putting it mildly.

This review is currently when I’ve read up to chapter 1964. Yes yes yes, I know MC seems weak and the story is slow but when I tell you it’s worth it when you get past some chapters everything starts moving like a freight train! The world building is awesome, side characters are as interesting as the main! I know this book may not be ranked 1# but personally… this book is VERYYY underrated due to the beginning of the novel. It is and will always be the BEST book on WebNovel.

I haven't read this but will Mc get a harem or not. I don't really like it when Mc's be surrounded by girls but in the end he chooses one. if I want single girl then I would just read pure love story and series with that alignment. so will this be harem and if so is it the girls who have their character listed below the description?

This is a wonderful world that you have created and I hope you don't stop writing as the story is phenomenal. I have read until 1590 and no offense but you are a heartless monster for killing her. I sincerely hope you could revive her( I haven't mentioned the name to avoid spoilers).

This is My first review for any novel, Even though I read a lot of web novels. This one has a great story development & character building. The world building around the story is the best. MC is neither overpowered nor weak he develops overtime.
