Grapplers and Dashers

[Day 1]

Ash's hand was moving at a terrifying speed.It was reaching towards the face of a zombie.The next second it plunged right through the eye of the zombie.It slumped on the ground. This was the technique Ash used in killing them.His knife wasn't enough to penetrate the skull of the zombies.He hadn't given Leah a weapon yet. He wasn't sure if he could trust her.

Based on the zombies he encountered he divided them into two types.

The Dashers-They are the zombies that are quick on it's feet.Not only on it's feet but also it's hand. But this couldn't match Ash's speed. Speed was their only strength and nothing else.

The Grappler-Their strength is something you shouldn't underestimate.They are relatively slow.Their grips are very strong and very firm. He once had been gripped by a Grappled and he felt as if his arm would break if he hadn't killed it in time.

For Ash Grapplers are more dangerous because his knife is short. Now a Grappler can be seen walking towards them.It's face was a mangled mess but based on it's clothes it can easily be recognized as the school guard. It must have a gun or at least a flashlight and radio.Ash made a sweep towards it's feet making it fall down on it's face.He then quickly stabbed it at it's nape.

The concept of destroying it's brain can be used here. Another way to kill a zombie was destroying it's spine or neck.

Ash then checked the guard's body and found a pistol on it's holster.He also found a radio, flashlight, and handcuffs.The radio seem broken though.

"Wow you found a gun!!!"exclaimed Leah.

"We can't used it though. Not if we want hundreds of zombies flocking towards us."Ash replied.

He was holding it. He recognized it as a Berreta M9.He was surprised that he found it on a guard.This was a gun used by the US Military.It had been years since he held one. He remembered when he used it for the first time.His arm went numb for days because of the recoil.But he then slowly got used to it.

Suddenly a Grappler appeared behind Leah.Ash throwed the knife in his hand.

CRACK!!!

The skull made a loud crunching noise as it was split in two by the knife.Blood gushed out of it's head.Leah only realized that there was a zombie beside her when he heard the cracking noise.Ash was about to pull out the knife when an arrow hit his hand.He felt the pain but it wasn't shown on his face.Whoever used the bow and arrow wasn't skilled.The wound wasn't even deep.

He turned towards the direction the arrow came from. There he saw his idiotic friend Ember.
