6 Fight

Jordan was looking from a window and watched the small entrance to the storage room which was a hole in the wall, so far it looked there are 5 beasts in there, frontal assault would be difficult, each of these dog beast´s was about 1 meter (3ft 3in) high and 1,75 meter (5ft 8in) long with sparks coming out of them, even though the beasts looked scary Jordan was confident in his victory.

Jordan completed his preparation and was hiding behind a corner near the beast´s lair, in his head Jordan run through all possible situation that could happen and steeled himself for the combat, with few deep breaths he sprung to action while sprinting Jordan quickly got to the entrance just in time for the first beast to come out, with a brutal smash to head with his two-handed hammer Jordan crushed the beast´s skull bits of brain and skull flew everywhere in several meter radius, one down 4 to go.

A few seconds later the second beast came out, with no time to swing again Jordan kick the beast's head with all his strength, the beast stumbled but otherwise looked fine, rather Jordan´s leg felt a bit numb as the skull of the beast was quite hard.

The third beast made it out and just as it was about to jump at Jordan, Jordan poured mana to his horn, and with a shout, he intimidated the beasts, the 2 beasts outside looked ready to submit but the other 2 that were still inside weren´t affected, they got out and broke the other 2 from the trance in a critical moment.

Jordan didn't panic and while the 2 beasts were dizzy his hammer once again fall on the head of one disoriented beast, after killing the second beast Jordan began to run to a ladder he prepared before, it went to the second floor and the beasts will have to take a detour over stairs for a while to catch up with him.

Jordan wanted to oppress them again but when he experimented he got to better know the limits of his abilities and he could try to tame or oppress the beast only once every 10 min, when he tries sooner, his horn will just reject the mana he sends it.

Jordan was standing on top of the stairs, on the stairs that went to him tight corridor was made with crates, only one beast could go through it at once, Jordan wanted to tame at least one of the beast dogs but it looks like he can´t always get what he wants, but even so, 5 hearts is enough of harvest.

The beast came and stared with hateful eyes at Jordan, they stopped before the corridor and waited for a while, as they didn´t try to make a move Jordan slowly took a knife from his belt and quickly threw it at the nearest beast, he hit it´s left eye and blood started to pour out of it, the beast got enraged and began to run at Jordan through the corridor.

Jordan prepared for a fight and just as the beast was about to get through the crates to him he smashed its head, the fourth one and fifth one were right behind but they got stuck because of the corpse that was before them, Jordan didn't wait for them to get out and smashed the fourth one´s head, with this only the last beast remained.

As the beast looked around it started to panic and backed off, the corridor together with the two corpses blocked Jordan this time and he could only watch as the last beast run away.

Jordan thought "well, four out of five is still ok", first Jordan sit on a nearby crate and started to digest the fight, strangely enough, Jordan was excited instead of being scared, after a bit of pondering about his psyche Jordan stood up and rather got to butchering the beast... overthinking won't help anything.

While getting constantly shocked by static electricity from the dead beasts Jordan collected the corpses and butchered them, he tried to get the pelt but once again it went poorly and in the end, he got only 4 hearts, Jordan didn't have any use for bones so he only collected the blood from the electric beasts, just like the blood from the fiery one, the blood from the electric beast returned a bit of mana when he drank it and worked just like mana potion.

Jordan tasted the blood of the fiery beast and it tasted like alcohol while also replenishing a bit of his mana but it was nothing like eating the heart, when he ate the heart he could feel the capacity of mana move up a little and his center of power got also bit stronger.

The blood of the electric beast send electric shocks here and there when he drank it, Jordan moved to the hearts, he thought about selling some of the hearts but nothing that he needed more than the hearts themselves came to his mind so instead, Jordan just decided to eat them.

While eating, the sensation of being shocked run through Jordan´s body, it was obvious by now that it depends on the type of element the beast control and the element changes taste and so on, well mostly it changes the body of the beast, changes in taste isn´t the main thing to focus on.

Midway through the fourth heart Jordan started to feel weird, his head was spinning, and he couldn't keep his balance, almost like he was drunk, it wasn't all that bad so Jordan decided to eat the rest at once, Jordan ate the last heart and laid down on the ground, waiting for the mana to get absorbed.
