A scientific explanation of mana. Something I have never seen before. That is why I am doing a review. The story is of a group of teenagers (mage) who came back to explore the earth after something called mana apocalypse. Writing Quality: I think the author has put a lot of time behind it. there is a nice flow of the plot. the info had hidden quite perfectly in the story. It's like any other but reading it feel different from other writing. Stability of updates: it's 1/day. too quick to say anything about it. hope the author will keep up. Till now the chapters are >2000 words. Story development: It is six chapters long. too soon? no. The authors have shown me so many emotions(fear, anger, resentment, loneliness, pain. and it is just 6 chapters long), so much back story without even written about it, what can I say this is awesome. This is one of the best parts of the story. Character Development: Let's not talk about mc. Let's not spoil it, but one chapter appeared in chapter 1 and died by 5. author concluded about him by 6 with just 4 appearances. yet I can't help but feel sorry for him. This is awesome. Though till now it feels mc driven plot. I hope the more important characters will be there as the story develops. World Background: there are two worlds, earth and will. hope we will know more about them soon enough. my words: it started for a contest. I hope the author doesn't give up after the contest is over. the good point is if it wins it will be contracted so no chance of stopping then. Please author send me moreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Hello, Author here. This is the 10th review, so I did it. Just a heads up. Its a story of a teenager going back to the mana infested earth. It also a coming to age type to story. His small-time at the earth will mould him the man who will earn fear and respect in both Earth and Will (new planet) alike. And thank you for reading.
Hey, you're writing a good story! Thanks for sharing this! There are sentences that can still improve so I'm hoping that you can find the time to edit the chapters while they're still few. Also, I'd appreciate it if you can drop a review of my work—The Last Dragon Hunter. Thank you and keep up the good work!
Alright so this story is absolutely a joy to read. You’ve got sci-fi, fantasy, cultivation and magic with an interesting post-apocalyptic setting. Basically the MC is part of a team of child (ages 15-16) soldiers sent across the galaxy to explore Earth that they originally left due to mana poisoning and basically apocalyptic stuff that forced them to leave their home planet. Now the MC is back on earth to complete missions but it doesn’t go as expected and he has road blocks from both the environment and even his fellow man that make his exploration on this old planet very dangerous. I would say that the MC is strong but in no way is he overpowered. He’s got a lot of limitations that make him struggle massively in fights and situations but he does have that MC plot armor/luck so he gets through everything at least (no matter how injured or near death). The author does do a great job building suspense and make the reader feel like there is an intensity to the current situation the MC is in that makes it captivating to keep reading. For other readers like me: there’s no harem and that’s a good thing in my opinion. Romance is really only at the beginning but it kind of goes away very quickly so I won’t spoil it. This is definitely a pure action and intrigue story so I wouldn’t really expect romance so you shouldn’t either. There’s also lots of cool monsters and battles so if you’re into that, I highly recommend checking this story out. Give it a read. The only negative I’d give is that there are so few chapters. I usually only read stories with 100-150+ chapters because I hate waiting for daily releases. Now I’m caught up in the current 70+ chapter range and it’s going to be hell waiting for new chapters since the story is so good. Well, go ahead and give the story a read and I think it’s very deserving of its current ratings. I’m usually a pain in the butt to please if anyone knows me from other stories’ comment sections if you recognize my username lmao. For real, this story is good though. Super entertaining!
Writing Quality: [[5 STARS]]__Why?__ >>Well, the flow is very smooth and mellow. Not too~ complicated like an exaggeratedly complex documentary. No. The literature used easily shows the work and contemplation put behind it before publishing. It's easy on the lips(or ears or whatever). Stability of Updates: [[4 STARS]]__Why?__ >>Why did I not give 5 sensual stars to this category? Updating itself is a matter that questions the author(s)'s commitment, passion and whatever, it may sometimes not be the will of the author(s) that he/she fails to update regularly. It's currently 1chap/day if I'm correct, but I'd like to encourage the author to go an extra mile since I would one day love to see this book in the Top 10 power rankings. Nevertheless, it's still awesome! Story Development: [[5 STARS]]__Why?__ May lightning strike me if I dare say that the story development is less to wonderful. I'm seriously left emotional at the end of each chapter; sometimes you'll cry your eyes out but other times will be the contrast. Character Design: [[5 STARS]] I think I've said a lot already. Of course I'd LOVE to say more but I'm afraid that I'll 'accidentally' spoil the whole story XD World Background: [[5 STARS]] Thank goodness I didn't put an entry in the "Apocalyptic" category for the Webnovel 2020 Spirity Awards. Were it so, I would have been thrashed mercilessly by this novel. *sweats profusely*
What a wonderful novel. Many things had happened in the short chapters I read and I like the way it's written. The grammar is good and gave me good reading experience, the character development is doing well as well as the storyline and since it's new, I hope for the author to keep it up! Science mixed with magic is something I like in a story too!
It is a very fresh take on the normal LitRPG genre. The background and world-building is close to perfection. The writing quality is better that 90% of sh*t found here. The stability of updates is not bad. The story development is awesome. But, the characters need a human side to them to make them relatable and believable. The author need to work on this. TL;DR ~ It is an amazing piece of work. Highly recommended
So good, 10/5 stars from me. Original and well developed plot. Realistic and very well developed characters, although i wouldnt say any of them are particularly likeable (including the MC) there are a few that are particularly hate-able, so theres that. The writing is excellent, and the story is regularly updated, an all round well done and intriguing story. I have nothing but praise.
It’s a great story, one of the first that gave a reason for mana to exist. Though, the story is not a rush to become op, so it might not a novel for some people but that’s for every novel. Next world building, I have to say it starts out small then gets bigger and bigger. Character design is great it’s shows real emotions on how real people would act, for some people that might be a let down but for me that just how I like it 🤗. Story development is also great not too fast nor slow but just good enough. Writing quality is good and the author listens to you and try’s to fix mistakes. Chapter updates have been stable so far and it’s been around 100 chapters that I’ve read so I consider that a good sign. That’s all thanks for reading this review. 👍
Author, there are phrases that are repeated in chapter 1 when the MC's mother speaks; "Aaron, get down. You are so heavy you shouldn't let your brother carry you." Looking at his mother, Aaron tried get down, but Aiden wouldn't let him. In addition to this paragraph, there are a few more in its sequence that are repeated. You'll soon see them ... Overall, your novel is really promising and covers an interesting concept!
Definitely a genre I haven't seen touched yet, I really appreciate the scientific explanation of mana. I've done the same thing, but in more of a fantasy setting. The storytelling is awsome, its everything you would expect from a sci-fi fantasy hybrid. Easy to read and virtually no grammar mistakes to speak of. Definitely a good read
