128 Oglit!

"Why are you standing there? Aren't you going to show me your first innate circle?" The elf continued to smile at Aiden, "After all, I had already shown you mine."

Aiden frowned as a countless number of mana circles appeared around Aiden. It was beneath his feet, so was behind him. With each passing moment, things became brighter, and the mana circles began to spit out ice spears and ice lances.

However, to Aiden's surprise, the same thing was happening around the elf. He even felt that the number of mana circles was the same as his. And with a flick of his wrist, Aiden sent the projectiles at the elf.

The elf copied his action, and all the projectiles met in the middle. As soon as they did, it created a curtain of snow. Aiden smirked as soon as he initiated the mana circle.

"But how?" Aiden mumbled in confusion as he looked down. His leg got stuck in the ice swamp under his feet. "It supposed to activate under the elf's feet."

However, as soon as Aiden realized the severity of the situation, he turned back. The jaw of the ice wolf was just an inch away from his face. One swing of his rod and Aiden took care of the wolf.

"Let me tell you that these simple spells won't affect me." Aiden looked to find that the elf was standing with its leg stuck to the ice swamp. But the elf, too, had taken care of the wolf behind it.

'Can he copy my spells?' Aiden looked in confusion as he couldn't find any other explanation of the events that were happening in front of him.

"Can he copy my spells?" the elf smiled at him, "You are thinking about it, don't you." The confusion on Aiden's face made his smile brighter, "Yes, you are right. And the only thing I can't is an innate spell. So, don't waste your time and use it."

*Bang*

A gunshot roared, shattering the silence. Aiden turned to find Robin was lying on the top of the transporter with his rifle. However, before Aiden could turn towards the elf, it appeared right beside Robin.

Robin, too, had felt its presence. He tried to move away but failed to do so as the elf was too fast. It grabbed Robin by his hand and kept him hanging at the side of the transporter.

The elf looked at Aiden, "I thought we had agreed not to let our subordinates join our fight." It checked Robin again, "did you think your lord is the only one who can use clone?"

However, Robin had no intention of going down without a fight and kicked at the elf while hanging by his hand. The elf smiled at him and let his hand go.

The kick missed, yet the push it generated as his leg touched the roof of the transporter was enough to stabilize. He pulled his handgun out in a blink and shot at the elf, even before his legs could touch the ground.

"Oh! They were talking about this." Robin looked in shock as the elf caught the bullet with his bare hand. He wasn't sure whether Aiden could do that at such proximity.

"And, this is a gun, right?" At the elf's question, Robin screamed in pain. The elf was holding his hand, twisted at an angle that wasn't humanly possible. Yet the elf continued to inspect the gun as Robin was still holding it.

"Let me have a closer look." the elf smiled at Robin and severed the arm from his shoulder. Robin screamed in pain as blood sprayed everywhere.

*Boom*

A giant ice fist slammed at the spot the elf was standing a moment ago. Even if Aiden attacked in such a way that it didn't hit Robin, however, the fist missed the elf too.

"You can't be angry, right?" It raised Robin's bloodied hand asked in confusion, "Your subordinate attacked me first. But it's okay, right? You had destroyed the wings of my subordinates too."

He pointed at the wyvern and threw the severed hand at them. The wyvern, however, was happy with the snack and swallowed the entire arm.

*Boom*

The upper body of the giant that had formed behind Aiden attacked the elf again. Yet, its blue fist failed to touch its target. A giant, similar to Aiden's, appeared behind the elf too.

"Although it is fanciful, these things have little use against me. It's not like you are going to listen to me." The elf sighed as he looked at Aiden, "Then, let's get over with it. And one more thing, the spell is incomplete."

As the elf said it, the upper part of the giant, behind the elf, moved. It pulled its lower part out of the ground. The head of the giant was outside Aiden's domain that was negating the effect of the blizzard.

That didn't stop it from kicking the giant that formed behind Aiden. Because of the requirement of an enormous amount of mana and the relentless attack from the bigger one, it soon crumbled.

"Khuuk…" Aiden coughed up some blood. Aiden wasn't sure whether it was the backlash of the failed spell or the elf had a way to attack his internal organs, but he could find any wound inside.

'Mraz.' Aiden continued to yell inside his mind, yet there were no responses. At first, he thought it was just an illusion, but he couldn't break it. Yet, the most surprising thing was, even Mraz couldn't do anything about it.

And the other thing that worried Aiden was his mana reserve. Even if he had used the mana giant spell, it shouldn't have used up all his mana.

'It should have been one-third of my mana, yet… It's like something else is using my mana.' It took Aiden a moment, but he quickly realized, 'it must be Mraz who is trying to break the illusion. I have to buy some time.'

As Aiden glared at the elf, the elf soon realized, "Oh! You understood." The elf nodded, adding, "You have taken your time, but I should have expected that much from you. But something is wrong with your soul."

The elf acted as if he was trying the right word to explain, "It's like you have two souls. And you are the weaker one. The other one has much more formidable control over your mana."

The blood continued to leak out of the side of his lips, as the elf said, "the problem is too weak. Let's not drag it much longer." and the elf appeared in front of him and grabbed his throat.

He was struggling to reach the ground while the elf was rising him by the throat, but he didn't stop attacking. He directed his mana and sung the dwarven rod, but the elf grabbed the rod without any problem.

And the ground underneath his glow up. Before the elf could understand what had happened, a wave of weakness washed over him. And his grip weakened.

Aiden didn't hesitate to use his last [Blink] and threw his punch at the elf. He tried to extract his mana, but only the taste of blood hit his throat, and another wave of weakness washed over him.

Aiden gritted his teeth and turned his punch into a finger jab. And the aim was the eye of the elf. However, the icy hand of the elf stopped it and snapped his finger.

In a blink, Aiden was hanging by his throat again. The elf said, "So, your first mana circle was an essence extraction circle. That is quite odd."

It confused the elf a little as he said, "But that is a wonderful choice. Considering how weak your vessel is, it might be the best option."

"Now I understand why didn't you use your mana circle until I got close. Alas! I am a third circle elf." The elf smiled, saying, "but I would say you have done a great job. I would say if you hadn't met me, you have survived long."

"But let me show you my first innate circle. Even if it can't extract the essence, but it can extract the essence mana." Aiden could feel a powerful suction force generated from his hand. He struggled to get himself free but failed.

His breathing stopped as his mind returned inside the mana space. The first thing that appeared in front of Aiden was Mraz. He was fighting an elf. The elf was on every bit similar to the one he was fighting till now.

And there was the obelisk. It was glowing brightly, as it was continuously supplying mana to Mraz. Even if Mraz had an advantage, the elf was like an eel, constantly escaping Mraz's talon.

And the direction of mana changed. Along with Mraz, the elf was now absorbing his mana too.

*Crack*

A crack appeared on the brightly glowing obelisk. Aiden screamed in pain as if something was crushing all his internal organs one by one.

The immense pressure pushed Aiden out of his mana space. But his body was still hanging from the elf's grip. A thick layer of ice covered the entire body of Aiden as the mana continued to escape from all the pores of his body.

"Ahhhhhhh…" Aiden continued to scream as the thick layer of ice that was covering his body started to crack. The first crack appeared right across his face, and he continued to scream.

"Even if you from a backward plane, your essence mana very dense as if…*crack*" The shattering of ice reached Aiden's ice-shelled throat, and the elf felt something stung his hand.

Before he could understand what was happening, his hand begin to burn. He threw the body off Aiden, but it was a little too late.

Staring at his hand that was burning with black flame, the elf mumbled in shock, "Oglit!" And the elf tore his hand from his shoulder without hesitation as he glared at Aiden.
